DONOTGOHEREIFYOU’REIN A HURRY I would like to tell you how good or bad the food was, but we never received it so… My wife and I had several people tell us how goodd the food was, and we’re breakfast people, so we decided to go check it out. I woke up and was all excited about going and eating some awesome breakfast. We arrived about 930, there were people at about 4 or 5 other tables. We sat down and looked at the menu for about 5 minutes and I ordered french toast, my wife ordered a standard omelet. We had to repeat it a few times as the waitress explained that she was sooooo tired. Several more people came in to eat. After waiting ANHOUR and everybody else having their food, my wife went to ask if our food was ready or what was going on. A few minutes later a different waitress came over and told us they were going to put a rush on it(of course, they had no other customers, so I don’t know how they could rush it anymore). After waiting an hour and 10 minutes, I was irritated to say the least so I told her she could just keep it and we would go somewhere else. Apparently this was unacceptable to her as she told me «I apologized, you don’t have to be rude». Believe me, after waiting over an hour for French Toast and an omelet, I thought I was very polite. It really sucks too, after looking at the menu, I was looking forward to coming back with the rest of my family and trying some of the other stuff.

We have been here several times, we have always had great, fresh food. The chicken fried chicken dinner and the sandwich are my favorite. If you like onion rings, you must try theirs, they are huge and delicious!

The food here is over-hyped and a bit pricey. It’s good, but nothing extra special other than some of it is bought locally in Oklahoma. The bacon and cheese fries are only good because of the queso cheese and bacon put on them. Otherwise, the fries themselves taste like they were cooked in old oil. The queso would make shoe leather taste better, I could probably just drink it like a soup. That is one thing I really like from here. Oh, the mushrooms are delicious too and the fried pickles are different but I like them. They have a strong pepper taste to them which is perfect when you dip it in ranch! The onion rings and sweet potato fries are good too and the portion sizes are large for all the sides. The burgers are always burnt around the edges and slightly dry in the middle. They’re decent overall when you get it with bacon and/or a fried egg and cheese on it. The bacon is thick and amazing. The chicken fried steak has been a little overdone each time and not as flavorful as I would like but the gravy is decent. The Texas toast is meh. I usually just get some mushrooms and/or fried pickles when I order from here. It seems the sides or appetizers are better than the main meal. That’s not how it should be.

I hate to write this review. We love locally owned places. But we finally surrender. There has been a problem every single time we’ve tried. One time they were out of mushrooms. The next time, no mashed potatoes. This time, there was no iced tea ready — not a big deal — but then the told us it would be a while because there was a party of 12 they had to cook for first. We left. I hope they figure it out, but we won’t be back. It is not a professionally run establishment. Melanie P: Neither of those statements is true. We never got any tea. And no one offered to make our food. I’m sorry, but your team is lying to you. Thank you for following up. I truly wish you the very best.

Chicken and waffles this morning came with a side of eggs and even tho they were pretty full(about 25 people in here at the moment) my order came out before I could get cream in my coffee. That is a VERY good sign. Very tasty! Service is stellar as always. Glad I stopped in!!!

a sign on the door advises that when busy there could be long wait. well, slow service even when not busy. I ordered a philly cheese steak and onion rings. 3 very large onion rings that were okay. The philly cheese steak was the most disgusting philly cheese steak I have ever eaten. Menu described the sandwich as shaved rib eye but I doubt it. there was no cheese. salty greasy mess. the paper on the tray was a pool of grease. aweful, just aweful. save your money. I give 1 star for the server who was very nice.

Alot of people raved about it on facebook so i decided to give it a try. I had the chicken friend steak with gravy. There wasnt much flavor to the breading, it was kind of bland. The okra was good and the tater tots were also good. We ordered kids meals and the hamburger didnt have a hamburger bun. It had what looked like a hot dog bun… Overall i give it three stars, for large portions and friendly staff.

First time to eat there tonight. Very friendly staff. The owner brought out our dinner and joked around with our daughter. Dinner was very good. Will definitely go back!

I have eaten here many times. I have enjoyed every time I have been here. The breakfast is always good and is served in large proportions. Lunch and dinner are great as well. Although the only items I have eaten for these meals has been a burger of some sort. They have had a few owner changes but the food has remained good. Give it a try if your in Yukon.

I have been 3 times. It was awesome the first time I went for breakfast. I had the garbage breakfast and it was tasty. My wife and I went in the day after the Discover Oklahoma special and were told it would be an hour to get our food. We left and came back and placed our order. We ordered onion rings, an Indian Taco and Chicken Fried steak. It took a long time to get our meal and the restaurant was not packed. All the food was really good but I did not get Texas toast with my chicken fried steak. We went in the following Saturday for breakfast. It was not that busy. We both ordered the garbage breakfast. It, again, took a long time to get our food. My meal came out with sausage when I ordered bacon. They remedied that for me. My wife’s fry bread was overlooked and not light and fluffy like mine. There was also a shortage of gravy on hers. They brought more but it was watery and not as good as the gravy we previously had. My wife did not eat much of hers and hers was comped after we spoke to the waitress. I really want to love this place as I think it has amazing potential. I hope they are able to get a better handle on how long it takes for orders to get to the table. I would encourage everyone give them a try as I believe we just were unlucky the times we went and I don’t believe that is the norm for them. I’ll give them another opportunity to impress me.

This is a great hole in the wall place to eat. Service can sometimes be slow but not horrible. Diverse menu for a small time place. But everything we have had has been great. Definitely worth trying.

Where is the Miller Grill of my childhood? Where is the excellent service and delicious breakfast of old? I love breakfast. I could eat breakfast all day. It’s hard to screw up bacon, eggs and hash browns. It’s the simple diner food of this country. Today, the only thing warm about my breakfast was the eggs and coffee. The eggs were perfectly over easy. My hats off to the cook who made them. Cold hash browns. Cold bacon. And the weirdest version of biscuits and sausage gravy. I’m a big fan of sausage gravy. But I’ve never seen gravy ladled over shredded sausage before. If you’re serving sausage gravy why wouldn’t you get all of that wonderful sausage fat into your gravy instead of over floured boring white gravy? Maybe the timing just needs to be worked on? Maybe they had a rough morning? Whatever it may be, I used to love this place and I ate here growing up. I’m just sad to come back to my hometown diner and be so sorely disappointed.

Chef Jason McCormack continues to amaze me! I’ve been here quite a few times now and it has always been fantastic! I wish he was closer to Okc… But then again, I’d probably weigh 500 pounds !!

Yummy little hole in the wall place. The outside doesn’t look like much but the interior is neat and spacey enough for them to have a full bar in the future. A lot of ppl come for their Indian Tacos and HUGE Onion Rings, but there is so much more! Our pickle chips were fried to perfection. My buffalo chicken burger tasted fresh and wasn’t smothered in sauce so you could actually taste the true flavor of the chicken; huge portion with thick cut fries too. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top with a side of tater tots, again another big portion. We also met the owner who was friendly and seemed like an honest hard working man. He also stated that this place is run by a bunch of fat kids so you’ll never leave here hungry… Tis’ true I would say!

I ordered the Mother Clucker with a side salad. Don’t be afraid when you drive up. The outside of this strip looks like the type of place you are likely to get asked for change or mugged. The inside is actually quite nice. You WILL smell like a grill when you leave though. I don’t mind that so much. I wish I could wear it as cologne, but I know I don’t hold the same opinion as most. Anyways, the foot was good. I really enjoyed the blackened chicken. It was juicy and had tremendous flavor. I think the cowboy toothpicks and onion straws are a little over-hyped, but they were good. The salad was meh, but it is a salad. The service was strange. I can’t quite explain it. Does«hovering» ring a bell with anyone? Ya… that is the word that I would use. Anyways, I wouldn’t mind coming back sometime. Good job, folks.

Dinner/breakfast review Tried this place for dinner. Came back the next morning for breakfast. Dinner was good. Not many people there for a saturday evening. But thats okay. Service was good and food was good. I had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings(which were good but hard to eat because they were big! Still get them though. It was worth it.). Wife got hamburger and sweet potato fries(they have a miller sauce for fries that was really good too). My kiddo had the hand made chicken strips. It was all good. So we decided to try breakfast. They were a bit understaffed, but we got there before anyone else so it didnt bother us too much. Breakfast was just as good. Wife got philly omelet and i got the regular 2 egg breakfast. Kiddo got«kids pancake» which i think was just the regular pancake meal. It was huge. Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. We love local restaurants and may have found our new favorite Yukon grill!

Found this place by googling when we didn’t want to wait in line at a chain restaurant for breakfast. So glad we did. The food was great, staff was really friendly, service was fast. Had a great breakfast in a quiet diner that has a great home town feel. Loved it!

Very disappointed that owners decided to take advantage of people on Czech fest… We decided to eat here rather than wait in line at food trucks in hopes of saving money. When we got there we found they were not serving regular menu and were only giving a few choices. Burgers, fries, and Indian tacos. I asked if I could have bacon or chili on my burger but was told they weren’t serving those today. We didn’t see the prices until after we ordered and were shocked. All items extremely over priced — $ 10 for burger and fries and $ 10 for Indian tacos. $ 5 for pepperoni chips which sounded interesting but turned out to be pretty bad. My kid said they tastes like fish food… I doubt seriously these are their regular prices… Just upsetting that they would take advantage of people and overcharge them for mediocre food just because of the heavy traffic during Czech fest. If you are going to raise prices, at least raise the quality/quantity of food, or consider allowing customers to customize order!
