Dutch Brothers Mobile Screen Service

I just bought a house built in 1955 that has the original crank out aluminum casement windows. We had some screens missing and after reading reviews, and calling a few places for pricing and availability, I decided on Dutch Brothers. Boy, am I glad I did. They made an appointment for the very next day. Chris came to fit and fabricate my screens. He was very professional while being personable and friendly — easy to talk to. Chris is an asset to the company. He made my screens and made sure I had any questions answered before he gave me my invoice. I decided will be using Dutch Brothers again to replace the other existing screens in the house soon and I’ll request he come back out when we are ready for that. I highly recommend this company if you need any screens made. Great experience starting from the woman who answered the phone (I cannot recall her name) all the way through the finished product.

I recently had 1 screen replaced on ⁸⁄₂₁ by Chris. He arrived on time and within 15 minutes had the screen made and installed. He was very professional and personable. He did a great job and would use this company again for future screen replacements. He is definitely an asset to your company

They special ordered a bug strip for the side of my patio door and also replaced a screen door. Quick, polite & efficient. Looks great. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Really pleased with this company! We wanted to add retractable screens to a few doors in the house. Great customer service, great follow-​through, and very professional nice guys who did the work.
About a month later one of our main screens started giving us problems and was being tricky. They had explained the way it was put together initially might be a problem. Well, we finally called them because we had that problem and we needed to fix a screen door on our rental house.
They came out quickly and fixed the initial door, then drove down with my husband to the rental house. The screen door would have to be replaced because it was a top track and didn’t have a bottom track. Nightmare! Huge cost. However, the guy suggested that it would be easier to replace the broken handle instead. They happened to have one in the truck.
Charge? Nothing. Dude. Amazing. I love them.

Our dogs ripped our sliding screen door and we needed it replaced asap for a family reunion. You know how it goes, always trying to have the house looking nice so we can impress the rest of our family. The Dutch Brothers were out and got to us as soon as they could and they installed the screen door quickly just in time for the party. No embarrassing screen door and they helped us look good. Thanks Dutch Bros! We recommend them to everybody!

Called them on Monday afternoon, had the screen door replaced with Pet Mesh on Tuesday morning at 6 am! What other company is going to come by so early in the morning to help out busy homeowners? Can’t say enough about how quick and easy everything was.

I had every screen in my house, 17 or so replaced by these guys and was very happy with the experience. In the past I tried to save a couple bucks by measuring windows and youtube-​university-​ing my way to learn how to order the right size screens for each window and THEN going into a screen place instead of letting these guys come to me. Trust me it’s not always easy and when YOU measure YOU pay the price if you’re wrong!
These guys however show up and handle it for you. They were polite and on time. And it was shockingly cheap.
Then… they made a mistake measuring on two of the windows and the screens were about 1 inch too short (you couldn’t see it from outside so I could see how they might not have noticed). When I called a week later there was zero bickering, they came out and replaced their mistakes on their time, and on their dollar. I’m very happy with my screens and it was really really easy.
Did I mention they adjusted my screen door that I thought I was going to have to replace and did it for free?
If you need screens save yourself the hassle and risk of making a mistake and call these guys, trust me.

If you actually want to get a screen door installed, I wouldn’t recommend calling this company. Not only did they don’t return my email twice, they set up an appointment and then never showed up. So glad I wasted my time waiting for them to come.
I will be using someone else who actually wants business.

Had a backyard screen door replaced with the pet-​friendly polyester mesh. Nice to know that my old fiberglass mesh is good and gone. Christian arrived 5 days after schedule appointment with his truck. He did the job in and out within 30 minutes. $ 85 is fair and I’m supporting a family run small business. Will update review based on how their warranty holds up. For now, five stars for a no frills experience.
P. S. They take AMEX. Always an extra star for that.

I am so pleased with the customer service and pricing of Dutch Brothers. I called on Monday and on Wednesday they were out. Shout out to Ismael who called to say he was ahead of schedule, but when I said I just couldn’t leave work any earlier he was totally cool and replaced the screens he could while he waited for me to get home. His kind demeanor and speedy repair was so refreshing in the day and age of bad customer service. I would definitely recommend them/​him to anyone is the surrounding area! Thank you Dutch Brothers!

Back in ¹⁰⁄₂₀₁₂ we had Dutch Brothers come out and rescreen 5 windows, add 2 solar screens on 2 of our windows as well as have them build us a sliding screen patio door. Its been over a year and a half and all products done by them are still in excellent condition. Our patio door was not installed right by the pervious owners, therefore we couldn’t just go to a hardware store and purchase a screen there. Dutch Brothers got the measurements right on!!! It still works to this day.
With having said all they we are having them come back out tomorrow to put 4 more solar screens on and give us a estimate for a swinging door screen for our front door. Again another door was not installed correctly by the pervious owners. The tech that came out the 1^st time, Ismael is the one coming back. He’s really a nice guy, can’t wait to see him again.
I highly recommend Dutch Brothers and their tech Ismael to anyone in Orange County.

Was in dire need of screen repair, including a screen slider for the sliding glass door leading to our backyard. Dutch Brothers had us scheduled, priced and perfectly installed faster than I could write a check. Terrific to have a local company get us hooked up so quickly and professionally.
Worth every penny and will absolutely bring them back to not only replace all our front screens, but to ensure they’re nearby when we find out who wins our family’s annual «Which Bunco Lady is Gonna Walk Through The Screen Slider First?» competition.
In all seriousness, these are the folks to call for screens. You will not be disappointed.

These people are a joke. They made me wait a week before they came… which is understandable if they where good. Then I asked them to have the service guy call me 30 minutes before he came which is standard these days for services that can’t guarantee a time, and ofcourse he never called, but complained the 30 minutes he waited, threatening to leave… sorry that I have to work and not a millionaire playboy. when I got there he never took the time to find parking, but then said since there was no parking at the time he had to go and to reschedule. I showed him where there was parking around the corner, but he didnt want to walk that far. They made me wait a week for some condescending, lazy service guy who gave no service other then lip service. Can’t help to think most of these good reviews are family members! Bad reviews are the real customers! I’d give negative stars if that was an option. Use them at your own risk.

Love Dutch Brothers Mobile Screen Service. We needed three screens replaced. They were prompt and courteous, came out when they said they would and, believe it or not, charged us less than quoted because two of the windows were so small! We need new screen doors for our patio so we will definitely call them back.

I really wanted to give Dutch Brothers a great review especially since we found Dutch Brothers off of Unilocal and read so many great reviews but the whole process has been very disappointing and frustrating. We needed 8 screens with pet mesh, 2 of our sliding doors with metal guards, and 4 frames replaced due to our dog destroying our screens. When I was searching around for quotes, they were slightly higher but my husband really liked them and was impressed with their customer service on the phone. I called them and told them our dilemma and luckily, they were able to meet my price and not charge me tax if I paid in cash. I was happy with that and scheduled to have them come out. The installer who came out was very nice and professional. He replaced all of our screens within an hour and a half. Before he left, I went around and checked his work and noticed a couple of the screens seemed really lose and not secure enough. He assured me it’s supposed to be like that and if I had any problems to call them back.
Low and behold, within two days, three of my screens had been torn out from the corners and the spleen was also off of the track. My dog jumped on the screens but I was told that the pet mesh was 7 times stronger than the regular mesh and they’ve never had any problems before. I called them right away; they apologized, and said they would send someone out to look at the screens.
A week later the same installer comes out, but doesn’t even come out at his scheduled time. My husband makes arrangements to leave work early and be home at 4p.m. (the time they were scheduled for) and the installer shows up at 11a.m. My roommate was home, hands me the phone to talk to the installer, and he says he had an open slot so he thought he’d come by to see if anyone was home since we live so close. He takes a look at our screens and tells us that he’s going to have the owner come out and take a look and that we may need to have aluminum screens put in. I ask him if he would still be able to come out today since my husband was still planning to be home by 4p.m. but he said he would call me back. I waited an hour and he never calls me back. I call the office and talk to someone new, and they say the same thing about calling me back. Finally, it gets to be too late so my husband calls them and they explain to him that they would need to come up with a new quote so no one would come out that day.
They come out again two weeks later (we were on vacation) with someone new and he temporarily fixes the screens that are damaged. Within that time frame, the metal guard on one of the sliding doors had fallen off. Looking at it closely, they really should have installed a longer screw to secure it properly. He did not have the screw on his truck so he said sometime next week he’d drop by to fix it since our house was on the way home for him. He also gives a new solution to fixing the problem but explains to us that he would have to talk to his boss and get another quote. It’s been a month and he has never came by or called to give us a new quote. I don’t expect to ever be hearing from them again.

I contacted Dutch Brothers because a few of my neighbors had retractable screen doors installed by them. I had been eyeing the screen doors ever since I moved into my community. My deck was in need of a screen door. Plus my dog, Suki, would love it. So I bit the bullet and inquired as to what the cost might be. Initially, I received no call or email. The second time I contacted them through their website, I received a call from Mike. He inquired as to the height of my door, colors of the door frame and threshold, and gave me an estimate of $ 375. Recalling that my neighbor said $ 450, I scheduled an appointment for Dutch Brothers to come out on a Saturday for installation.
Brandon arrived on Saturday morning 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. He went right to work measuring, sawing, and drilling. About an hour later, my brand new screen door was installed. It works on magnets and the magnet was really strong. There’s a lifetime warranty on the parts except for the screen mesh. He said that the cost to fix the mesh would be ~$ 85 if I should ever need to call them back out. One thing though and the reason for the docked star is that when I was quoted $ 375, Mike neglected to mention tax so I ended up paying $ 405 which was $ 375 + 8% sales tax. Not a huge deal, but it’s something I would have liked to have been notified about up front. Good service, great product and I’m one happy customer. Suki approves too.

Great experience. They were on time, courteous, and did a great job replacing the screen on my slider door. Already recommended them to my cousin, who asked me about it because it looked good.

I recently needed to have two screen doors on the back of my house redone.
I found seven ‘mobile screen repair’ companies that serviced OC on the internet and sent emails to all seven of them.
Of the 7, only 4 companies replied (what’s up with that?!).
Mike got back to me right away with a price of $ 40 per screen door (price is for single French door type screens).
Of the 4 quotes I got, Dutch Bros. was the cheapest, but also the friendliest and most informative.
(Pricing ranged from $ 40 per screen at Dutch Bros. to $ 70 from another company).
I set an appointment for a couple days later. Kevin showed up on time and had both screens re-​screened in about 25 minutes. Quick and easy.
While he was there I asked him for a price on a brand new screen door for my front door. He quoted me $ 140 for the door I wanted and $ 100 installation.
I went ahead and ordered the door because they had exactly what I wanted and it was good quality.
I could have saved $ 100 and installed it myself but I didn’t think the price was too bad.
Within a week they called to schedule an appointment to install my new screen door.
Again, Kevin showed up on time and did a good job.
I would definitely recommend this company if you need re-​screening or to purchase new screen doors.
