Very yummy sushi, fresh and tasty but not cheap. The thai dishes are very good as well. The happy hour wines and saki are a great deal and very good selections.

Subpar Chinese food. I tried this place twice, but both experiences were just plain bad. The restaurant is really beautiful inside and I dig the atmosphere, but the food is just flavorless! My grandparents hated everything they tried and we even spoke to a manager on our first visit, but nothing has changed since. I tried ordering takeout and was disappointed again. The General Tso’s tofu was very bland but there were about 4 hot chilis in there, as if spice is equal to flavor. I got the scallion pancakes and only ate one bite before throwing the entire container out. They were more like thin pancakes with little green specks inside. Not pleasing at all. Sadly, there don’t seem to be any great Chinese resaurants off Central Ave.

My hubby and I at there for the second time in two weeks last night, we found this place by accident a week ago and the meal was really good. Went back last night and the meal was average. Shrimp tempura had a funny aftertaste maybe it was fried in old oil, the roast pork egg foo young which was amazing last week was a little below average this week. How can food go from amazing to average in one week

Ordered Lunch today after a very long time. Went to there new location to pick up — décor of the restaurant i give it a 4.5, food i give it a 5 as they always cook everything perfect, however i give it a 3 Star for the attitude of the staff esp the gentlemen who took my order — he was very rude not only to me over the phone but also in person when i went to pick up the food, but also to rest of his staff. He just needs to change his attitude to be more friendly!

I moved to the Greenburgh area quite recently and was searching for a good Chinese restaurant. Although it’s not much to look at, the food is decent and it is worth stopping by. There really aren’t many people that sit and eat here because it really doesn’t have a great atmosphere, but its a good take out place.

Favorite take out Chinese food store in Yonkers. Their boneless spare ribs are the best and the prices are still reasonable.

Tasty House is the kind of Chinese place you always hope is near your house when you move somewhere new. It isn’t much to look at, but the owners are great and the food is solid. The prices are also really reasonable, which was a nice surprise given how expensive many restaurants are in the area. While I usually get take-out, I’ve also eaten there and the food is even better when it comes straight from the kitchen to the table. Be forewarned, though, if you’re eating there it’s at a cracked formica topped table, using styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. If that’s not your sort of thing, just get the take-out. One amusing thing is that the woman that takes the orders often will have her children there in the evenings. There’s nothing so cute as a 3 year old pausing from her coloring to ask if you like spicy mustard.

I’ve been eating here for a little while now pretty regularly. I have to say I’m pretty happy. I don’t like the little kitchens usually but they have an extensive menu which is all pretty impressive. Coming from a large family we tend to order a broad variety of dishes and they are all generally good tasting and don’t make me sick the next day. I know that’s odd to stick in a review but it’s true and it’s important. It’s not like the most amazing stuff in the world but currently it’s my go to Chinese takeout place. I like the fried rice which I haven’t liked from anywhere in a while. Boneless ribs are yummy, orange beef is pretty good too although I don’t love that a lot of the fried chicken dishes are dark meat. Oh they even have fried dough. Yeah, gross but good. I wouldn’t get it more than once. They’re also pretty friendly and they deliver fairly quickly for having to drive a distance.

I just tried Tasty House for the first time — it lived up to its name. No complaints at all — good, solid dishes. Everything was very clean tasting, and not smoky or greasy. Delivery was fast. I was pleased with the presentation, as well as the flavors. No MSG is a big plus for me. I’ve had bad experiences recently with area Chinese take-out. Tasty House was a surprise delight for me! Egg rolls were nicely done: good color, not at all greasy. I usually pass on having Fried Rice; this was the first take-out fried rice in a long time that I’ve actually enjoyed. I very much enjoyed my Kung Pao Chicken; and it was exactly the Spice Level that I asked for. The Mei Fun rice noodles had good flavor. The Chow Fun was good too. General Tso’s was some of the best I’ve had in awhile. I will definitely be ordering from here again!
