Disappointing. Slow delivery, lack of flavor, boring tastes, horrible dumplings and just really not very good. Sad

My only choice for Chinese take-out! I tried everywhere in this and the surrounding areas since moving to this town over a decade ago, and this is by far the best Chinese food to go! The food always arrives quickly, and it hot and delicious. Nothing is ever greasy, which is almost impossible to achieve in the world of Chinese take out. They are very accommodating in customizing your own dishes, and their vegetables are incredibly fresh and crisp. Try it, I assure you, you wont be disappointed!

This place use to be ok. But i went their recently and all the sauces that they used tasted like they are from a can. The vegetable dumplings seemed like they were filled with preservatives and had a chemical plastic taste. I threw it out after 1 bite and i love my dumplings:(

This place is a family favorite and has become an institution on Garth Road since opening. The phone rings off the hook for take-out. The women at the front counter are friendly and efficient. Excellent egg rolls, crab rangoons, beef and broccoli, steamed chicken and vegetables… I could go on. Light years better than Golden Duck up the street(I don’t know how they’ve stayed in business). Some have called it «expensive»… well, it’s not«cheap,» but neither is their rent, or the neighborhood! The price fits the quality, portions, service, and taste. Highly recommended.

seems like the number one ingredient now is sugar. everything I ordered was overly sweetend. Although i asked for lite sauce, my food was delivered drenched in syrup. can anyone, please, make good Chinese food!!!

This reliable little restaurant has furnished my family and me with consistently good egg drop soup, fried rice, pork dumplings, chow fun and other old faves for years. Good prices, fast service, and they even deliver fast too. Glad it’s around.

I’m writing this with an MSG headache from their chicken lo mein. Our family has been ordering between here & Golden Duck(1 block away) for the past 2 yrs. Every time I eat bad take-out food, I swear they are off our list and switch to the other place. I think I’ve switched back & forth a couple times now and am at a loss for good Chinese around here. Cooking good chicken & broccoli and noodles shouldn’t be that difficult, especially for almost $ 10 a dish.

Not authentic Chinese, but pretty good for greasy spoon take out. I especially love their dumplings! They also don’t seem to be that busy with all the other competition on the street. As far as wonton soup, though, I much prefer up the block at SEA’s. They make a killer wonton soup.

Family favorite, Chopstix is the only place we consistently go for take out. It’s Monday night and their phone is rininging non stop, the best running business of Scarsdale. Recs: +Chicken chow fun(wide noodles) +Mapo tofu +Beef broccoli The two ladies in charge of taking orders are sweethearts. Always smiling at customers. Even though a man didn’t have enough money to pay for his lunch, they let him off in the end and asked that he pay them back later. No it’s not authentic Chinese food, but it’s decent enough on days you don’t want to cook.

Best Chinese take out in Scarsdale! The food tastes great — everything I tried is always great. I LOVE the Udon Noodles with pork or chicken here! There is a reason this place has been around for so long — all the locals always go here. The restaurant itself, if you dine in, is pretty plain and nothing to write home about but the food is great! I have done takeout for years — never disappointed!

CONSISTENTLYGOODFOOD have been going here since 10 years lunch specials are substantial so 2 people can share if on a diet they are willing to make the food very bland with no salt or extra spicy according to tastes Greet everyone with a smile even when very busy.

I don’t really know how to describe Chop Stix other than WONDERFUL. I feel like it’s not just your generic takeout food and that they actually take time to prepare the food. General Tso’s chicken, pork fried rice, chicken and broccoli, wonton soup – all of them taste like they weren’t just thrown in the oven and rushed, but like they were actually prepared with care. I found that takeout or eating in the restaurant both taste great, but the restaurant is clean and you can just grab a table.

Delicious Chinese restaurant located in the heart of Scarsdale Village. Trust me, this place is fantastic. The food may take some time to arrive, but it’s always going to be delicious. I would recommend their Sesame Chicken — it’s the perfect combination of MSG and meat. Heart it!

um, i really find it difficult to believe that anyone would give this place 5 stars. folks who did: i officially don’t trust your reviews anymore. i what characterize the food here as being a C-minus. and i’m sort of being kind with that. it is indeed totally«americanized,» in that the spice has been toned down, the sauces sweetened and thickened to the point that they’re almost dessert. fried rice totally uninspired. wonton soup lacking flavor. dumplings unpleasantly breaded. eggrolls pro forma. eggplant chicken with garlic sauce so-so, probably the best of what we ordered. my «tien» chicken — listed as chef’s specialty — was a bunch of frozen vegetables stir-fried with a sweet sauce. yawn. one of the stars i’m giving for the woman at the counter, who was absolutely the sweetest woman i’ve ever encountered in a take-out shop. so kind and welcoming. i only wish the rest of the place worked as well. i wouldn’t go back.

Decent Chinese food. Love their wings, dim sum, and happy family. Reasonably priced and great portion sizes. Edited(3⁄15) I find that the quality of their food has gone down a bit. So I’ve stopped going there.

Best take out Chinese food in Scarsdale. The lunch specials are a great deal, and their general tso’s is hands down the best. they have great fried rices too. their seafood dishes are also really good. all the food here is reasonably priced also, and service is fast and friendly. Overall, a great«americanized» chinese take out place. Not pretentious one bit!

You know when you are in a rat hole when they have pictures of the food on the wall. This place sucks hard. How could they screw up a simple dish like chicken with blackbean sauce. Two dumbs down to the ground. Chop stix u suck. I hope the golden duck is better. Just some advice ask your chief to go to Gem — Cuisines of China on central ave he can learn a thing or two.

Best general tso’s chicken ever. I have yet to find a place that serves general tso’s chicken as good as here. It is always crispy, so they must use a special blend for their batter. The lunch specials are a good deal, but over the years the prices on their menu have increased due to inflation. Solid place for Americanized Chinese food in Scarsdale… especially if you’re on a budget.
