Great job! I needed to move on New Years Eve from Westchester County to Dutchess County. I just knew it would be difficult to find someone to work on that day but they did. Arrived on time. Sufficient number of men, got straight to work very organized in who did what. Great crew. When they got to my new home they were flawless with unloading and even gave me suggestions on how to place my furniture. So helpful, hard working crew. I would highly recommend Ron’s trucking to my friends and family and if I move again will definitely call. A+ guys!

Ron’s moving, moved me on Dec. 9 th from Mount Vernon to Yonkers they broke a mirror, destroyed dishes and china damaged my recliner chair. I had boxes of baseball cards that were taped closed, every box was opened .I had certain cards that were in hard plastic covers to protect the edges of the cards some of them where missing; besides a couple of small boxes. When I called the company to notify them of my missing cardsI was hung up on. So beware, if you are going to use this company take pictures of your valuables, or you might be sorry like I am.

I cannot express how great of a job Ron’s moving did for me! They moved a 1400 pound piece or equipment down 19 stairs in no time at all! No damage or scratches and the men they sent were very professional!

Ron, the owner, came to my apartment to give me an estimate for my move, and the quote was almost $ 100 less than I had been given by other companies. The price was great and Ron was so personable that I immediately accepted. I ended up changing my moving date to sooner than originally expected, and Shakira in their office was sweet & accommodating, despite my millions of questions.
The day of the move, 3 men arrived at my apartment — Dante, Patrick, and I’m sorry to say I forgot the other guy’s name (I didn’t have much interaction with him). Both Dante & Patrick were fun and upbeat. All three men were efficient and careful with my items. Unfortunately, two small items were left behind in the truck, which I didn’t realize until a few hours later. I called the office and whoever answered had Dante call me back immediately. Thankfully the items were found and Dante had two other men return them to me within the hour.
Long story short, I would definitely recommend Ron’s Trucking, and I plan to use them again for my next move.

Just had Ron’s move a delicate and very heavy item that I bought on an estate sale. The care they took in protecting and securing the item went beyond my expectations, and the price was very competitive. The two guys did a stellar job. Ron’s is the place I would call first if I need moving services in the future.

Ron’s Trucking saved me from my snafu. I reached out to them ON THE MORNING OF MY MOVE (I do not recommend trying this method) and they still were able to send me a truck and 4 movers. Ron and his team were efficient, precise and well coached (like the Patriots, but w/​o the cheating). I will use them again and definitely recommend them for anything moving related. Call them NOW, I’m sure they’re even better when you plan ahead.

Despite the positive reviews, I had a terrible experience. I moved from NY to DC in July 2014 and Ron’s Trucking originally quoted me a price that was quite low. Having shopped around, I went with them as the price was right and they were highly recommended. Two days before my scheduled move I received a phone call from the company saying that they can no longer move my stuff on that day for the stated price. I was horrified and at my wits end as I was moving for a new job opportunity and had everything lined up within a certain time frame. I was then told that the reason it was originally be so inexpensive was that they were pairing my belongings with another person moving (I was not informed of this until after the fact) and if I wanted to move that day it would cost me $ 300 extra. At this point I was extremely angry and felt like they were trying to extort me for more money because they knew I had no other option. I had a very angry negotiation with Ron and ultimately decided to use this company. The actual move went alright but for one last thing– I tend to keep my Halloween costumes and have a whip from when I was Indiana Jones. The 2 men that moved my belongings thought it was funny and somehow appropriate to make jokes (of a sexual nature) about the whip when it fell out of one of the boxes, frankly making me feel very uncomfortable.
I would never recommend this company to anyone as I had a terrible experience and felt so angry and upset with the way my business was handled.

Moved from Scarsdale to NYC, called Ron at the last minute (literally day before.) Ron couldn’t have been nicer and easier to deal with, and the crew that came (Lonny and the guys) were great. Best possible experience you could ask for, and the price was right.

Ron’s Trucking moved us from our 3 bedroom house in Bayside, Queens to Pleasantville, NY. I picked Ron’s after getting several estimates and reading online reviews. Ron’s was a lot less expensive than other companies which would normally make me apprehensive, but the reviews were so strong I decided to give them a chance. Ron and his crew were all very courteous and professional and took great care with our things. We had a lot of framed posters, several pieces of antique furniture and many other fragile items, none of which sustained any damage during the move. They worked fast and efficiently and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them.

Ron and his team helped my mother move from Scarsdale to Tuckahoe. They did not bat an eye at all her stuff. They efficiently and courteously moved every box and scrap a couple months ago, plus they hauled a heavy metal desk up multiple flights of stairs because it didn’t fit in the elevator. And their price was super reasonable. Thanks for taking such good care of our mother!!! We will definitely be repeat customers if we ever need to move again.

Excellent and professional service! They were so nice and made moving easy. It was also the best deal I found in the area. I couldn’t believe how inexpensive they were considering the quality.

What can I say about this company? Absolutely nothing but great things!
From the moment I knew I was going to move, I became franitc with having to choose from the numerous moving companies. A great friend from work suggested I call Ron to get an estimate– so I did.
I initiately spoke with Shakira who was courteous, patient, professional and oh so pleasant. We scheduled a day for Ron to come over and provide me with a free estimate. The price was pleasing to my ears and wallet!!!
So now comes moving day! There were a total of 5 men– 4 to move items from apartment to truck and 1 to mind the truck (very important if you live in an apartment building).
The professionalism that was demonstrated by these gentlemen (the movers) was superb! They completely made me feel at ease as they energetically took over. They made sure I was ok with everything they were taking from the apartment to the truck.
Once we got to my new place they moved quickly. They asked where I wanted the boxes and furniture placed. They were polite when dealing with the superintendent and his porters.
Company protocol is have the customer check the truck and verify that all items were removed as well as speak with Ron (the owner) to ensure that his guys provided everything that was essentially promised.
I would highly recommend this company and these group of guys to anyone!
Please remember to TIP these guys– this is not an easy job!
