I’ve been going here for over 20 years and will not go anywhere else, even though this is a 20 – 30 minute drive for me. I have found the doctors here to be very competent. They fit me and my son for contact lenses. After reaching middle age and needing reading glasses, they were able to fit me for contacts so that I can see both closeup and distance reasonably well so I don’t always need my reading glasses.

A friend referred me to Dr. Jones after I went to a horrible eye doctor a few months back. I initially booked my appointment on the Internet, which is just so convenient. I got to the office t around 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and proceeded to check in. When the receptionist called me up she seemed to be having a little attitude that day and wasn’t really friendly she asked me did I have an appointment and what time it was(mind you I wrote it on the paper that she was looking at while she was talking to me). 2 things that frustrated me the most was 1. On the computer I booked my appointment with Dr. Jones because a friend to that doctor referred me, but when my name was called it was by another doctor. I am confused about that and was pretty annoyed that it didn’t register on the website or the receptionist wasn’t paying attention. 2. Also my co pay was 40 $ so I asked could I charge 20 $ and pay the other 20 $ in cash, the receptionist said yes so I proceed with the payment. I get a call a few days later saying that the receptionist charged my card 40 $ and also received my 20 $ in cash and that I would need to come and pick up the 20 $ cash. This annoyed me the most because if she didn’t know how to process the payments she should of asked someone to assist her or told me that I could only use one form of payment. I would have preferred that than being over charged and needed messing up the amount of money is in my account for other bills. Also now I have to go pick up the money which I don’t drive so now I have to pay for the bus to get the money which is now inconveniencing me, and the office closes before I get home from work so that means I have to go on a Saturday. The only reason I will continue to go to Dr. Jones is because of DR. JONES and the assistant that helped with a portion of my eye exam(sorry I can’t remember her name but she is AWESOME as well. I would of given a rating of 5 if it wasn’t for the receptionist. Front line personnel in any business need to understand that this could make or break someone’s experience and future visits.

I’ve been to Dr. Barri Jones and Associates several times now. From simple puff tests to the destruction of flesh eating bacteria in my eye, the folks at DBJC are 20⁄20! I’m partial to Dr. Won personally, but that’s just because he speaks my language(jive) and he speaks it rather quickly! I don’t think we’ve ever spent longer than 10 minutes together because he works so quickly, efficiently and explains everything concisely. Whether you need to fine tune your prescription or eradicate the bubonic plague from your eye, the folks at DBJA will help you SEE the light. Everyone on staff is absolutely delightful! My only complaint is that there is a sign with all he Docs names on it and Dr. Won’s name is the biggest. This doesn’t seem fair to all the other awesome doctors and assistants in the office! Lastly, a shout out to Pam!
