Now called Thai Siam, my wife and I enjoyed fresh, crispy salad, we shared the duck. In garlic sauce with stir fried vegetables-​wonderful, we shared the Pla — fried whole fish (snapper) in an excellent Thai Basil sauce. Excellent. Thumbs way up on this establishment. We will definitely come back.

I really enjoyed this place. I had the Tom Yum soup and the Drunken Man noodles and it was authentic and flavorful. The Thai iced tea was great as well. Not a bad place to go if you’re looking for a quick, cozy place.

Great clean eat!
Started off with the Thai iced tea. Very good not sweet at all not bland at all either. Just right
Appetizer: I purchased the tom yum soup (vegetable). Variety of vegetables; the tofu was great in the soup.
Entrée: I purchased the Chicken Thai basil.
(It comes with white rice)
Great taste wasn’t too salty or full of artificial ingredients. Felt great after eating here.
I would deff visit agin!

Went there tonight with my kids and husband. Staff were very friendly, food was amazing. Had the curry puffs and steamed dumplings to start. Then had the red curry it was perfect I actually finished the whole dish which is pretty big. Kids are picky so they made them noodles with chicken which considering was only noodles and chicken tasted pretty good. Looking forward to going back again and trying something else.

This restaurant is under new ownership and i believe is just called Siam Thai now. Went there last night with friends and really enjoyed everything. The menu is fairly broad and atypical. The food is more of an authentic regional style as opposed to what one is normally served in American Thai restaurants.
The fishcakes and seafood fritters were terrific as were the green curry and drunken man seafood noodles. The papaya salad was scrumptious, abundant and super fresh. The owners are a lovely couple (the wife is also the chef). Our waiter was a gregarious, attentive gentleman; very helpful with all our questions. We had a wonderful time and will return soon! Super nice people.
Good food, friendly casual atmosphere and a convenient location. Perfect for eat-​in or take out. They serve Thai beer but if you prefer wine they encourage you to buy a bottle next door and bring it in.

My go to place for Thai food takeout. The food is spot on and always good. When driving by the restaurant, it’s usually empty but don’t let that deter you. Give it a shot, the food is great. I’m guessing they do most of their business in take out.

This place is hit or miss. I think they changed owners or cooks about a year ago because it used to be much better although the lunch portions were on the smaller side. The good news is that their lunch portions are huge now and prices good. I ordered 2 Chicken Pad Thai’s to go and they were dry with little taste — very bland. not much chicken at all (maybe 4 small chunks if that) and they didn’t include Limes like some other places. Overall disappointing.
I ordered from here 2 months ago and it was slightly better so I may give them 1 more shot. I assume having it there may bump up the rating by a notch but there’s not much to get excited about here regardless.

The curry we ordered was OK, The duck dish was terrible, the fried rice was average! Servicer do not know how to smile and kept staring at us for some reason. We were there for the first time and would not go back again! There are other places thats so much better around the area! Please raise ur standards Siam Thai before we return and give u another chance.

The service was a bit slow but once the food was ordered. It came pretty quick. It’s a very small place and even though there were about seven other occupied tables, it was as if you had to whisper or talk low because it was kind of quite. Keep in mind that it was a Friday night around 7−8pm. Not a terrible place and the staff is friendly. I would come again. The prices were nice on the wallet as well.

It is rare for me to find GOOD Thai restaurant that is not in Queens. This is one of them.
Our standard today were Papaya salad and pad Thai. Papaya salad came with small slice of lime which brought up the floral notes of these dish. It layed the foundation for what to come. We wished they did it the tradition method by smashed the papaya strips before mixing it with the dressing.
Next up Pad Thai, it came a little wet than usual but the flavors were there. We will be back and trying some other dishes.
Price is a bit high for Thai food but it was acceptable due to the distance from city.

Why is this place always empty? Do you guys know what you’re missing out on? I’ve eaten here twice, and ordered takeout once. I always order the same thing (Massaman curry) because it’s THAT good.
My significant other has always enjoyed their dishes, and has tried a greater variety that I have.
Great prices, especially for lunch. I have no complaints!

One word: horrible! We went on a Monday night for take out. I ordered the pad see ew which was flavorless. I don’t recall what my boyfriend had, but it was just as bland. I definitely will never be back.

Nice place. Quiet. We went with a party of 6. Good service. And pretty decent food. I wouldn’t call this as authentic thai cuisine but its close. We ordered tofu puffs (not that great), tom yum soup (good), pad cashew (good), masaman curry (very good), red curry (OK) and the thai iced tea (good).

Always passed by this place but never tried it until today! I went in for lunch, got the Siam salad for first course then chicken pad Thai.
The Siam salad is a typical house salad with peanut dressing– the dressing has a little kick.
The chicken pad Thai looked very small in portion, but was rather generous for a lunch portion.
My waiter was very friendly and overall, this place is now my go-​to for Thai food in westchester

Major problem with this place is parking. In a suburb where car is the main method of transportation, a restaurant with virtually no parking is a challenge. Secondly, the guy in silver hair who work the front of the restaurant is lacking charm and personality to make this restaurant stand out. Something need to be memorable about a restaurant, especially when the food is just okay. Missing the spicy elements of an authentic Thai food.

Siam Thai is a hidden gem masked by the disapproving stigma of Central Avenue restaurants within the Edgemont/​Scarsdale community. While many glance past it and condemn it to the bankruptcy it will likely face, I make a point of attending this place everytime I pick up thai food. Why?
The service is excellent, friendly, and every waiter I’ve had there has put me in an awesome mood.
The food is orgasmic, and their culinary diversity is sublime. You can find amazing variety that tastes great in pretty much every desired aspect of Thai food.
Their prices are fair and relatively inexpensive for the eating experience you’re recieving.
Unfortunately, because of their location, Siam Thai isn’t bustling a first-​class establishment like them deserves. But hopefully this can change, because this place is one if my favorite resteraunts ever and I would be heartbroken to see it go away.

LOVED this place. Bought a groupon and they accepted it without question, even kept us posted on where we stood on our bill towards it.
The pad Thai and pad se eww were both amazing, banana crepes were perfect. The Thai custard was a bit heavy and lacking sweetness for my taste.
The only thing I didn’t like was that 18% gratuity was added onto the bill without disclosure. Otherwise great, will 100% be returning.
