Royal II Restaurant and Grill

First time visit for me as I followed the great reviews of others on Unilocal.Sat at the bar and got to meet owner Paul. Had the lamb gyro which was very good.
Slice of Greek pizza provided as an appetizer along with a ramakin of vanilla ice cream as a finish.
Restaurant is nice and clean and neat!

We must have driven by this place dozens of times, but this was our first visit. It already had rave reviews from a good friend, and we weren’t disappointed. As others have mentioned, the manager/​owner is super friendly and attentive. That sets a great tone.
The freebie pizza slice was enough to convince D that’s what he wanted for dinner, so his choice of linguica and kalamata olives hit the spot for him. I chose the Grilled octopus, on special that night. It was served Greek style and was absolutely delicious (see photo in gallery). The large octopus legs were meaty and tender. It’s hard to get a good consistency without a high quality product, and this place was perfect. The flavor and texture were spot on. We shared a nice bottle of Greek wine, though they were out of our first choice.
We ended our meal with a very nice Baklava, in addition to a complimentary limoncello and scoop of vanilla ice cream.
We’re so glad to have found a new go-​to spot on the Cape, and one open year round! YEAH!

This restaurant is a local treasure. A small intimate bar is a great spot to chat and enjoy a delicious meal. The service is always great and Paul, the owner, is very hands on and welcoming. Seafood dishes are always fresh and delicious. For families, there are booths in the dining room and in warmer weather, a 3 season porch. The pizzas have a thin crust and are delicious. The Greek salad is the best! The dressing (a closely guarded secret) is fabulous. Enjoy!

This place is awesome. I am from Yarmouth but have not made my way in here. I have no idea why. Within minutes I knew who the owner was because he is the face of the restaurant. Paul is his name and he was handing out complimentary slices of pizza as we waited for our dinners. The menu is extensive with a bunch of Italian dishes and a few Greek options as well. I had the Greek chicken salad which was HUGE and well worth the price ($ 8.95 without chicken/​add chicken for $ 4.00). You get a lot of chicken and the salad comes with fresh pita bread. YUM. My friend had the mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, fresh basil, and spinach salad. She really enjoyed her salad and loved the large chunks of mozzarella. We both had wine with our dinner. They pour a nice glass of wine almost to the brim which rarely happens these days.
After dinner we enjoyed a complimentary ice cream cup and a new years shot. So generous of the owner. Both were great.
I highly recommend this spot. It seems like a lot of locals and tourists enjoy this spot too because it was PACKED on a cold night in January. Most restaurants have a car or two in the parking lot in the off-​season, not here, which is a good sign.

Greeted warmly at the door by the owner. After being seated we were instantly brought complimentary pizza samples. Dinner was delicious. We had the chicken kabobs, ravioli with the homemade bolognese, and buffalo chicken pizza. All amazing! Dinner was followed by a complimentary taste of warm rice pudding and shot of port. Definitely a local gem, so happy we checked it out. We will definitely be back!

This was our first trip here even though we’ve driven by about a thousand times and have always noticed the full lot. Looking for someplace new, we hopped onto Unilocal and as usual, the reviews were spot on. My husband ordered a large cheese pizza, it was good… but just good, he wasn’t overly impressed. I ordered the scallop scampi and it was delicious. I was a little surprised when it came as it seemed a little «brothy»…however the flavors were spot on! Perfect garlic, lemon, and wine and yet those flavors did not overpower the scallops. Service was excellent as mentioned in other reviews. The complimentary rice pudding at the end of dinner may have been appreciated by most but neither my husband or I like the texture of rice pudding. Nice touch though. We will definitely be back!

Best Greek Style pizza I have had in years! Ordered a large pizza and Italian sub for take out for the Patriots Game. Asked for a well done pizza and got a well done pizza. Crust was nice and buttery like a good Greek style pizza. Very yummy!
Italian Sub was also very tasty.
Will be back!

Food delicious service is impeccable just adds to the whole experience! Paul the owner is so polite and friendly with a great sense of humor!!! Best place on the cape and happy this was on Unilocal!I was hesitant at first and now I know I shouldn’t have been. This place was a hidden gem with no wait when everyone else had one!

Not sure where to eat? You gotta give this place a shot!!! We were lucky to find this gem. We walked in, got a barstool table by the window. The waitress quickly served our beverages & ordered our food. A guy (possibly the owner?) comes around with a welcoming smile and gives us two amazing pieces of thin crust pizza; instead of the typical bread & butter. OMGee! The pizza was freakin delicious! Then later we got our entrée’s (Fish & Chips, & my bf got the pastrami sandwich). You can tell the batter was freshly made & fried in fresh oil. The fish was amazing!!! I usually don’t like cold slaw, but this one was actually good! The French fries were ok. It was all about the fish! After lunch we were served complimentary vanilla ice cream. WHAT!!! Uhh… yeah! Unbelievable! Thank you for a great lunch!

Mozzarella sticks were great. Tried their special soup which was also good. Glad we stopped this place is awesome

This restaurant is a jewel on the cape. Paul is a wonderful owner who treats patrons like long lost family. The food is fantastic and the ambiance is wonderful. The staff are courteous and attentive. Highly recommended.
