History

Established in 2001.

Learning Express arrived to Columbus, Ohio in October 2001. It was embraced by the many wonderful families who were looking for specialty toys that inspired imagination and creativity. With the success of the Learning Express of New Albany, a sister store was opened to serve customers on the North West side. Learning Express currently has two locations to serve the communities surrounding Columbus Ohio.

Connie opened her doors in 2001 with the desire to bring a specialty toy store to the Columbus area. Even after all these years Connie plays a vital role in the company and prefers to think of herself as a hands on owner. You will find Connie at one of the locations daily.

Our product mix is carefully selected from toy manufacturers around the world … classic toys that have passed the test of time as well as the latest toys on the leading edge of innovation. Our toys encourage curiosity, creativity and have extraordinary play value. We carefully evaluate every toy so we know they will delight children of all ages and for many years. We compliment our mix with items from other industries … jewelry, fashion accessories, kids’ stationery and personalized gifts. Ironically, some of these items have turned out to be our very best sellers!
