Love this place! The food is amazing especially the sushi. One of the best places for sushi in Worcester. The staff are also very polite. Worcester does not have many great places anymore for sushi and a nice atmosphere. Well, 7nana has both!!!

This is my favorite hibachi restaurant in Worcester! The drinks and food are always delicious but in my opinion the staff is the best part of the experience! They are always so friendly and have come to remember me and my friends we go so often. Definitely recommend!

Extremely disappointing. You are completely fooled by the ambiance & atmosphere. The place itself is gorgeous & the waiters & hibachi chefs were phenomenal. However, the food is terrible. The fried rice is dry, the chicken was rubbery with no flavor & the mixed vegetables were plain & still hard. The only good thing on that hibachi table were the 2 shrimp they give you, how generous. A couple friends ordered sushi & said it was good, maybe I would have liked that. We ordered mango Mai tais as drinks, they tasted like a juice box. I’m never one to complain about a drink because I like them on the lighter side anyways, but in this case, I didn’t feel like paying $ 9 for literally no alcohol. I will not be returning. Don’t waste your time.

Great place. Service was good. I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktail. The place was packed. We ordered the tempura shrimp, salmon and vegetables. It was really delicious.

Long wait. They gave away our New Years reservation because 2 out of 7 people were 10 minutes late… waited 45 minutes for a new table. I understand it’s busy but it was 10 minutes… the hibachi cook was hilarious and very entertaining. It’s very much an adult atmosphere, so I don’t agree with the reviews that say they are inappropriate, you know going into most of the places on shrewsbury st that they are aimed toward an adult audience. Kids wouldn’t understand the jokes anyways, I wasn’t offended what so ever. We all thought it was a blast. We will go back, just based on our cooks personality and the amazing taste of the food. It was really amazing. Drinks are way overpriced BUT the food and company is amazing. You will wait but it’s worth it. Ask for Chai, he’s an awesome cook.

Since living in Boston, it’s been awhile since I’ve checked out bars in the Worcester scene. However, this is a nice little gem. Really nice interior design and music was on point while there. It’s too bad that not many places in Worcester attract as much people, as let’s say, somewhere in Boston. With the right crowd, the atmosphere of this bar is really nice and inviting. Can’t really comment on the food as I only drank at the bar, but the décor seemed really nice for dining in.

It was good! Nothing to exciting and the décor is a little drab. The bar tenders were slow as one of them was crying but the food and drink was good. I cannot attest to the sit down area but everyone seemed happy.

Dragon Roll is delicious. Also the tuna avocado and spicy crunchy yellow tail. Shrimp dumplings were good! The waitress was super nice and understanding that I had a baby with me! She kept our drink glasses full and asked if we needed anything! The fish tasted fresh as well as all the ingredients used. You can choose from brown rice or a hand roll on most of the rolls. Not my favorite spot in Worcester but not my least!

Food was good. Service slow, inexperienced and uninformed. First time I’ve ever left 10% for a tip. Way too open and bright for a nice chill meal with my man.

Fantastic! When we walked in we were greeted by the host who brought us back to the Hibachi area and passed us along to Jeff. Jeff said he could seat us right away :) I spoke to him about the type of hibachi experience we were looking for(a fun and exciting one) and he knew exactly the chef to send our way. Since the wait time was a little longer than he expected(They had a HUGE party that had two of their chefs tied up for an hour and a half or so) he took the liberty of sending a free appetizer our way just as a way of saying«Thank you for waiting». After that the chef came out and cooked a PHENOMENAL meal for my husband and me and we were extremely satisfied. The food not only tasted good but the entertainment factor was 100% and the quantity was enormous! We will absolutely be returning. Very impressed with the entire experience.

Ok so I’m probably an idiot because I had $ 130 left on gift certificates and took my son for sushi. The food was fresh, we sat at the sushi bar and the chef and his assistant were outstanding. I asked the chef to prepare his favorite maki and he served beautiful tuna and crab maki that was spectacular! Either they have new management or they’ve gotten things together. The food was great and the service was better!

Surprisingly inexpensive for the quality of food and for this style. I’ve only been two times but it is an excellent restaurant. Their hibachi is very good, and as previously expressed it good value. I would also be remiss if I didn’t recommend their scorpion bowl

I am very picky about sushi and the quality of the fish. 7nana by far has the best tasting raw salmon that I’ve had at a sushi place in Worcester. The ambiance is great and they have great prices. Food: For lunch you can get 2 rolls with a salad and soup for $ 8.00. Can’t beat the price and the quality of the seafood is still great. They also have a hibachi area that is very nice and the hibachi cook made the experience fun for the whole family. Service: Service is usually good but I’ve seen a few times where the service took forever. I’ve spoken to the manager once and they were great at taking care of it. Parking: One of the things that I hate about Shrewsbury street is the street parking. There are lots of restaurants we miss out on because we can’t find any parking. 7nana has their own private parking in the back and street parking. On the weekends there’s free valet and weekdays it’s open. Never had a problem finding a place to park there. Overall: I love sushi so I go out to eat it 2 – 3 times a week. After finding this place it’s hard to go anywhere else.

Went here a couple nights ago with my boyfriend and felt like I had to write a review due to the horrible customer service we received! Went there around 6:30, place was pretty crowded. There was a group of about 8 people standing in front of us who we overheard had been waiting there for 20 mins because the restraunt gave their reservation away for habachi. That should’ve been our signal to leave. We asked the host if we should put our name in figuring we’d just get drinks while we waited he stated«no don’t worry about it I’ve been doing this for years, I’ll remember you, just give me 5 mins» so we wait 5 mins, then another 15. now more people are walking in. We get the hosts attention again he states«5 mins I need to give my waitresses a break» while standing there employees are arguing with eachother and didn’t seem to be on the same page. Now we’ve waited almost half an hour to be seated so my boyfriend asks the host«is the bar seat yourself? Cause well just go there if it’s okay» the host then literally tossed menus at my boyfriend and said in a nasty attitude«Yeah buddy whatever you wanna do»(we would’ve stopped right there and got a manager but that probably would’ve taken a day and we were starving so we dropped it) Went to the bar and sat ourselves. The bar was full of dirty dishes, napkins, wet from people’s drinks sitting there before us. We sat down next to this other couple and they told us «don’t even bother trying to get a drink, we’ve been waiting 10 mins and they haven’t even looked at us» sure enough he was right! We sat there for a good 5 mins with our menus closed so that they knew we were ready to order and finally my boyfriend got the attention of the bartender and asked if we could order and his response was«yeah give me a sec bud».sat there and watched ONE bartender and ONE bar back scramble to get drinks while a girl walked up with a drink she had ordered and said«this is not a margarita, it’s disgusting» and that was our final cue, we along with the other couple next to us walked out. Needless to say we will never be returning here.

we walked in and were immediately impressed by the décor & ambience. Gorgeous colored chandelier, low but effective lighting, and a fountain wall. It was not busy at all, and the bartender was welcoming and made us amazing drinks! The white sangria was not only wonderfully fruity, but was well presented with many pieces of fresh fruit. The drink of the night which was called the fruity explosion, was very, very strong but tasted okay. We started with the calamari and the coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was very different looking but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The calamari was good as well, but not as interesting. We all got sushi as entrees. Shrimp tempura, out of control, sex on the beach, and volcano roll. The best were the sex on the beach and the volcano(both pictured and highly recommended). We may have found our new favorite sushi joint in the area :)

Not bad, not good. Friendly service, clean. Bar chairs — pretty worn out. Sushi? Reasonably priced, but not good. Not bad. Rice isn’t fresh and flavorful, and the tempura batter on the spider roll and the looseness of it, was just bland. Service was attentive, but not sure I’d come back. Unless I’m in Worcester area and I HAVE to have sushi and don’t want to deal with the smell and lack of cleanliness of Sole Proprietor. Wanted to like it. I really did.

Went here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and another couple. We were seated pretty quickly and the waitress was very friendly and courteous. We ordered a dozen oysters and they came out on a beautiful tray with an ice molding(pretty fancy lol) we ordered a few rolls and sashimi; everything tasted delicious! The owner of the restaurant came out to check on our table and even had a shot of saki with us! Not sure why this place has such poor reviews, this place is excellent. I’m excited that there’s finally a nice restaurant in Worcester. Can’t wait to try out the hibachi next time!

I went 7nana to grab some sushi with a few coworkers. I walked in and wasn’t sure I it was a club or bar. Décor was modern with neon lights. Not your typical sushi restaurant. My coworkers n I drank a few beers and order appetizers and rolls. 2 out of the 3 appetizers came out. Shortly after the rolls came out. We finished the rolls n the waiter brought the 3rd appetizer. No apology or explanation. By then we were full n my coworker ended up taking it home. The waiter brought out the check n we asked for the check to get spilt up. The waiter went back n spilt the bill 3 ways. This obviously didn’t make sense as we could of game him our cards and asked him to divide it by 3. Overall, the sushi was okay but over priced. Service was poor. I will not be returning.
