Zero stars. Place is a joke. I just stood there for 15 minutes when all I wanted was a cup of coffee and they didn’t even take my order, had to walk out in disgust. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Went here on a holiday since it was one of the few places open. When I got there I was greeted by a friendly staff member… too bad she wasn’t the one who waited on me. The older guy working there was flat out rude. It was almost as if he was annoyed that it was my first time going there and that I needed time to make my decision. When I tried to order a latte with extra milk he felt the need to explain what a latte was in an ever so condescending way. I wanted to get pastries and that was even more strain on this poor fellow. At this point I just paid for my drinks and left. I might return, hopefully when this Jersey Shore reject isn’t working.

The man that works there in the afternoon is very rude. For example the first time I went in there I ordered a normal coffee and had change and he gave me a strange look even though had the right amount of money so I thought maybe he was in a bad mood and was having a bad day. the next time i went in there i forgot to say thank you cause i was in a rush after being handed my coffee and he goes WELL?! and not realizing what he was saying i said thanks. then today i went in there and ordered a cappachino with cream because that was what i got at honey dew and he goes do you even know what that is? i said ya i always get them at honey dew then he goes well its milk and coffee why would you get cream? i just gave in and said ok no cream then i didn’t like the taste so i went back and asked for a shot of a flavor and he saw the money in my hand and goes hahahah ya 2 dollars for it i thought he was joking so i gave him my coffee and when he came back he actually charged 2 dollars for a pump of mocha!!! This man is not friendly and every time i go in there he ruins my day. if you want your day to be ruined go ahead and go there but i do not recommend this coffee shop when he is there.

There is a wide selection of coffee and I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up getting the mounds flavor which is coconut and chocolate. It was good but needed more coconut. Overall I liked it :)

Absolutely love this place … My wife and I frequently come here and we live every flavor. I have brought so many people no from around here to this place just to get amazing coffee, I now have a few friends that will go out of there way just to get a large ice coffee from here(its just that good). The staff are amazing and very sweet and funny and always a pleasure to deal with when I’m in desparate need of caffeine. The place is clean and the donuts are awesome.

I love love love the Coffee Connection. The coffee is delicious black, but there is a wide range of flavors for every sweet tooth. The candy bar coffee is not too sweet or rich and perfect iced or hot for a hot or cold day. They also have protein smoothies and a variety of teas. The baked goods are delicious — try the red velvet muffin! I haven’t had a breakfast sandwich but it smells good when they’re cooking bacon! There is seating inside and a drive through window as well, which is a convenient touch. For your first time I do suggest going in so you can explore the menu, who is vast. I am taking a star off for service — the staff is a mix of friendly and standoffish. I’m easy to please in the customer service department(give me my shit and get me on my way) but sometimes the aloof nature of some of the staff makes you feel a little less than welcome. The only potential drawback is that if you use a card and your total is under $ 10, then there’s a .50 add on for the processing fee. However, in the grand scheme of things it really doesn’t impact my perception nor love of this place, hence the 5 stars. This place blows Dunkin and Starbucks clear out of the water, can compete with any local hipster coffee shop, and is friendly, relaxes, and fast. It’s the convenience of a fast food coffee place with the quality of a higher end coffee shop. Check them out — I guarantee you’ll be hooked!

I popped in for a donut to celebrate National Donut Day with, but they were out. However, instead of leaving in a huff, I decided to get a Willow Tree wrap, Tropical Iced Tea, and a raspberry twist. The wrap was good, the twist was good, but the tea was hideous. It tasted like it had Sweet and Low in it — that foul aspartame taste ruined it. The Good — While the menu is fairly limited, there’s some tasty, basic stuff on there. The pastries are great, but I wish that they had more in stock. Plenty of seating and big windows make the spot a pleasent place to snag a little lunch. Service was smiley and polite. The Bad — I hate going here because of their pawn shop sharing location. Every person looks like a sketchy person when going into a pawn shop, at least that’s my opinion. The Ugly — That tea was foul. Hate, hate, hate it. I’d try something else.

Have a $ 10 a day habit here. Easily. They are simply the best. Wonderful assortment of delicious items on the menu, exceptional customer service, and a comfortable environment to enjoy the spoils. Charlie and his staff are top notch. This man would be a millionaire, if his franchise were in Miami. We are lucky to have them here in the #401

I worked in Woonsocket for three years and frequented this location under Hava Java and then Coffee Connection. They are attached a pawn shop so you can’t miss the cash for gold signs outside. This is a local coffee shop with OK coffee and OK sandwiches. I didn’t really like their egg sandwiches but service is pretty fast and friendly. They specialize in flavored iced coffees that my coworkers rave about. I tried the pumpkin spiced one and found it to be too sweet for my taste. I hate how they charge extra if you use a credit/debit card for a purchase under ten bucks but it is what it is. They are probably the best coffee place in the area as Dunkin Donuts is everywhere and the other«coffee shops» seem sketchy or are more sit-down places. Drinks are reasonably priced but I taste-wise I prefer Starbucks(and this is coming from someone who is super pro shop local). They have other locations in the area as well, the closest to this one being in Cumberland. It appears to be a big after school hang out place for the local high school-ers.

Really it’s a nice coffee spot for Woonsocket. There’s a second location in Cumberland and I believe they just opened a third in east providence. They have lots of drink varieties with tons of hot and iced coffee flavors, coffee concoctions, and smoothies. They have muffins, donuts and breakfast sandwiches. I’ve gotten an egg and cheese on a bagel several times and although it’ll take a bit esp if they’re busy it’s usually great. They also offer lunch sandwiches. Worth a trip for your morning sip. PS– bring cash

There are not a lot of coffee shops in Woonsocket besides Dunkin Donuts, and that hardly qualifies. It’s a little strange co-located with a pawn shop, check-cashing service, and gold/silver/platinum buyer, but maybe coffee is a pretty lucrative business, too. The coffee and pastry are all right, and until recently this was one of the few places in Woonsocket that it was possible to get prepared coffee with almond and soy milk. That alone made it a very worthwhile trip across town, but this is no longer true since Dunkin Donuts started carrying almond(but not soy) milk. The drive-through is not at all obvious, but it can be located with a reasonable effort. You’ll find it if you look hard enough. My main gripe is that they have a very badly disclosed policy of adding 50 cents to the check if paying less than $ 10 by credit or debit card. The cashiers don’t warn you, although there is a small obscure sign, and this seems to me a bad business practice. I was surprised enough that I complained and the manager ended up grudgingly refunding me 50 cents in cash, but he explicitly said that it wasn’t worth the fight rather than apologizing for the confusion and their failure to warn customers. If they are going to pull a stunt like that, they ought to explicitly say something before doing it rather than just surprising the customer. In fact, unless a customer scrutinizes their sales receipt, they probably would never even know.

This is Coffee Connection’s second location(for all you Rhode Islanders, it’s ‘where Hava Java used to be’). And how can you not love some Coffee Connection? So many delicious flavors of coffee(including flavored decaf which makes me super happy) yummy smoothies and coffee drinks, and a huge variety of bagels and muffins. Their egg sandwiches blow anything from a chain out of the water. Two eggs and two pieces of cheese, and a really tasty English muffin — perfection. Im also a big fan of the red velvet muffin. My one complaint is that the people who work there look pretty miserable most of the time — smile, people! But I love supporting a family run business with a quality product!
