History

Established in 1963.

Since 1963 these steps have been our tried and true model for a successful schedule to provide the highest quality, best organized and most timely work in the industry for more than 50 years. Collaboration and open communication are paramount throughout the entire process, beginning with accurate project estimates, pragmatic pre-construction and procurement steps, schedule development leveraging cutting-edge technology, accountable execution, and job follow through and completion. Pearson Construction’s namesake Bob Pearson would lose money rather than give his owners a less-than-quality outcome on a project.

Today, Pearson’s son Scott still believes in and enforces that tenet. In fact, Pearson is the recipient of the Outstanding Construction Award from the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), and the Golden Trowel Award from the United Masonry Contractors Association for leadership in building.

Meet the Business Owner

Scott P.

Business Owner

Scott Pearson leads Pearson Construction, committed to continuing the legacy of integrity and commitment to quality begun by his father, Bob Pearson. Billington Construction was founded to serve Central Texas in 1963, and in 1972, Bob Pearson joined its team. In 1985, he decided to purchase the company for which he worked, and a few years later, changed its name to Pearson Construction. Scott Pearson worked with his father, learning how a true leader manages business affairs. Working closely side-by-side with his father, the younger Pearson saw first-hand how a true leader manages business affairs ethically and successfully. Bob Pearson would lose money before giving a client a less-than-quality end result on a project. In 2012, Bob Pearson passed away, but Scott has worked to build upon the solid foundation his father entrusted to him. He now leads the direction of Pearson Construction, and developing new business, along with serving as senior project manager.
