worst place ever. they give your appointment to someone else. then schedule another for two f… weeks when the place is empty… you have to wait two more weeks for each caries so they bill your insurance twice!!! to make money off your insurance for giving you an extra visit. all for what!!! READ THIS and READ The other reviews Below. my filling fell off after two weeks and guess what the caries was under the filling that i could even see it… They cover your filling with a caries inside. they didn’t bother to remove it. !!! worst place ever never going back there.

Let’s call it «The Unprofessionals».I was about 17 years old I came to this place for a root canal, my insurance was health plus and it was only good until 18 years old. I got my root canal done. Then right after months pass and I started growing ball in my gum filled with pus. ive had it for a long time until I decided to go to another dentist to check it out in China town for the reason that my insurance had expire. i went the place in China town. They redid my root canal and found a piece of rotten teeth that was left inside my teeth. i had a very bad experience here. I’m just trying to help those that don’t want to go through what I went through in this place. i advise everyone to becareful and be safe. Currently now at the age of 22, I have been blessed with a way Waugh WAY better and professional Dentist that cares for their patients. screw this place. Observe the sanitation if there was one. i would’ve gave them NO STARS Buh required to give one to write a review.

I like them, and a doctor is good, but every time something happened.
Came out part of braces (I know it is not 100% guaranty, but several times happened already…), burning my lips, cut my lips, and forgot to cut edge of wire (The wire stubbed my cheek)…
Complained me when I asked questions.
So, I am usually nervous after I saw doctor, and I am very uncomfortable when I should call them to fix problem.
This time, a assistant told me I will go to clinic only for you. I appreciate she will come, but it is my words! I cannot take day off to go to clinic every time!

I went to get a second opinion for my teeth and Dr. Chu was super nice and honest about assessing the needs of my teeth. Very nice man and efficient. He even responded to a follow up question I had regarding my teeth via phone. I gave one less star for the time inconvenience because for insurance carrier of Cigna DHMO, they only have Tuesday morning open for these clients — – which I had to take off work to come in.

This place is the worst. I want to give them less than a star if possible. They don’t respect their patients. They will give away your time slot to someone else. And they will make less excuses of this. Avoid this place by all means.

This place is amazing, very nice staff. The office is clean and they have always offered great, honest advice. I did my braces treatment here many years ago and now my mother is getting some work done. We’ve never had an issue with them. I would highly recommend it!

Very friendly and nice staff and doctors — I’m such a huge fan of Dr. Osanai! :) They are kind to give reminder calls and send followup postcards for regular checkups. They also helped me quickly for an emergency situation. Their website doesn’t mention insurance coverage, which worried me a bit, but the basic treatments are covered with my insurance (Empire PPO) with no problem. Better to make appointment especially for weekends. Thank you always!

I used to come this office but half an hour drive bothered me. I was looking for a dentist around my place for 2 years and I didn’t see a good dentist as Dr. Osanai. I decided to come back to see him.
His cleaning technique is gentle yet very effective. My teeth and gum are fresh and clean now. He is very polite and explains a lot about my condition. He never said bad things when I complained about the dentist whom I saw last.
Receptionists are nice too. My insurance doesn’t cover dental visit but the price is really reasonable. For the 1^st visit it’s less than $ 50, if they haven’t changed. The following cleaning is $ 75. I paid a lot more at the dentist around here and I was not satisfied.
I highly recommend it.

This is merely my assessment of Woodside Family Dental’s advertising, website, and what (mis) information they provide to insurance carriers. I have not visited their offices for any dental services.
Most concerning is that they hold themselves out to insurance carriers and consumers as having more dentists who take a specific insurance plan than is actually the case. If Woodside Family Dental is not periodically updating its office information with the insurance carriers, and the carriers pass on that information to consumers that multiple providers from that office take the insurance, which it turns out has not been true for FIVE years, by now Woodside Family Dental knows or reasonably should have known it is misrepresenting the scope of its services by not correcting/​updating the information.
More to the point, as Woodside Family Dental is undoubtably aware, some insurance plans require that a primary dentist be requested and approved through the insurance carrier before one can see that dentist, and this process is not automatic. And when Woodside Family Dental keeps long departed dentists on its office roster for five years after they have left the office (I’m not exaggerating — the receptionist admitted this to me), it subjects patients to needless and time consuming re-​authorization processes with their insurance plans, further delaying individuals’ access to basic care.
The receptionist also admitted that they do not like to serve patients with DHMO plans so, despite claiming they serve the community 7 days per week, they refuse DHMO patients at all times except Tuesday and Thursday mornings to minimize that class of patients.
Not impressed.

I see Dr. Osani and he is wonderful. Polite staff, knowledgeable, well maintained office, and very friendly.

The person who compared said this office is «like a spa» is smoking something. It is definitely not a spa.
However, it is a big, well organized, friendly, and reasonably priced place with very nice staff and dentists.
I recommend it.

This place is definitely the best dental office in Woodside/​Sunnyside. It is super clean and the owners go out of their way to make every room beautiful. Sometimes I think I’m in a spa. I take my kids there and they always make them calm down and laugh a little before doing any work. They take time to explain what is going on and show them what is going to happen so they don’t get scared. Recommended!
