The Reusable Lumber Company is a supplier of reclaimed, recycled and salvaged wood in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. We supply high quality, beautiful old growth lumber not available at more commercial lumber yards. Offering a sound alternative to buying virgin «new growth» products from our diminishing forests and helping to alleviate pressures on landfill, our lumber comes from the rich urban landscape, from buildings that would otherwise have been slated for demolition such as old houses, barns, decks, warehouses and sometimes from more unusual structures, such as water containers.

Whilst we are primarily concerned in the supply of reclaimed and reusable lumber we do list ourselves under architectural salvage in many bay area directories as we often come into unique and valuable items such as ironmongery, gates, doors, kitchen cabinets, pavers and much more. Manager

Paul arrived in California from his native Edinburgh, Scotland, in the summer of 2010. After graduating in Economics in 2006 he worked first in Real Estate and then for a bank. Feeling somewhat lost and unfulfilled Gavin contacted the RLC quoting shared values and the desire for a career change and subsequently began working for us that July.
