Specialties
We specialize in American grille, freshly caught seafood, raw bar and specialty drinks.
History
Established in 1849.
The Captain Kidd, which has been a Woods Hole mainstay since 1946, has been newly renovated and retains many features that are quintessential to its character, such as the bar salvaged from the Old Rockingham Hotel in Lowell, the fieldstone fireplace and the Joe Miron murals. The renovations build on those elements and take it to a new level. The Captain Kidd Bar and the Waterfront Dining Room, which were previously separate restaurants, are now one restaurant with one dining room. Many seating options on the water overlooking Eel Pond.
Meet the Manager
Allen H.
Manager
I am a Falmouth local, who has lived here in town my whole life. I have worked at the Captain Kidd since 2000 in various roles and positions. I am involved in our local community, and enjoy raising my two children here.
