Jerry Carlisle Property Inspections

Jerry Carlisle is very professional and thorough. He is a Buyer’s advocate. He does not try to sugarcoat anything, so if there are issues with a house he will tell it like it is to protect the Buyers. He is honest and will recommend a special inspection to follow his only if he sees the need for it. He won’t waste Buyer’s money on needless additional inspections. As a real estate agent, I have used him for my Buyer’s inspections many times and my Buyers have always been pleased with his work. Occasionally a deal will fall through because of what he has uncovered, but that is only because my Buyers learned the truth about the house. Most of the time the deals closed beautifully and my Buyers were armed with the facts about their new home.

Mr. Carlisle is unprofessional. He wrote an inspection of our home that was so inflammatory that the buyers walked. He stated that we did not have CO detectors when they are clearly on the wall. He stated that our balcony was a DIY project, when in fact, it was built with the house in 1968. His language in his report was meant to frighten our buyers and he succeeded in driving them away. He would not listen to my agent when he tried to give him information about our balcony and other parts of the house. He would not even speak to me during the inspection. Actually, he was a little scary. I wouldn’t recommend him unless you don’t want to buy a house. If you are trying to find something to get out of a valid escrow then probably he’s your man. He’s a home seller’s nightmare!!!
