B.S. In Construction Management from Colorado State University, class of 1996. Experience in all types of construction, including, historic, hospitals, schools, hotels, public buildings, and offices. Certified Inspector by CREIA and ASHI. John enjoys providing a valuable service to clients and realtors while doing something that is both challenging and rewarding. In his spare time he enjoys cooking, homebrewing beer, and volunteering his time as a coach in various sports, and being an Assistance Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America.

As I am sure everyone knows buying a home is a little nerve rocketing. This is my first home purchase and John Buckley helped make this experience a lot more comfortable. He was very professional in every aspect of the job. He throughly checked for everything in what I hope will be my new home. Before the inspection he explained all of his duties while on the job to me. He wanted to make sure I understood all of rights as a customer. After the inspection he went over the main concerns of the property. If I didn’t understand something he was more than happy to clarify it for me. Also, if there was a serious problem he was very knowledgeable to what the next I would need to take. Thankfully, no major issues in my situation. I know if I am going to purchase another home, or know a friend who is purchasing a home I will definitely recommend Buckley Real Estate Inspection!

I had the Fortune of having John Buckley from Equity building inspection do the inspection on a property my husband and I are buying in Los Angeles.
I HIGHLY recommend John Buckley as your real estate inspector. He spent 4 hours at the house and nothing passed by his attention. Purchasing a house is a very very stressful process. However, John makes it a lot easier.
John is a very easy going person, has a great rapport and will make your life easier during this process.
John was recommend by a friend and I am very happy that John turned out to be everything my friend said to be.

If you are looking for a home inspector that is knowledgeable, reliable, thorough, then John Buckley should be your home inspector!
I live in a 1906 Historical home. It is not like a modern home when it comes to a basic inspection. Many things predate the 1950’s. John knew what everything was, how it should be and was very upfront about it. He also went through the attic and the basement. Basically, he left no stone unturned. John is fantastic and I highly recommend him!

There is a reason this company has five stars. I have worked with John Buckley twice now and each time I have experienced a professional, well-​detailed report that has saved me thousands of money when purchasing a house. Home inspections are SO important and worth every penny when you have someone you trust who is well-​versed in the correct building and safety codes and regulations. He is experienced and his prices are reasonable. My only suggestion is he books up quickly so make sure to book in advanced. He’s so busy because he is so often used!!!

To be a Real Estate inspector, you have to know all about the Building and Safety Housing department recent rules and regulations. John Buckley is that kind of Inspector. When he inspects a property he gives you a detailed report of Acceptable and Non Acceptable items related to the inspected Property. His prices are VERY reasonable. I highly recommend his services.

John Buckley and his team are AMAZING at what they do. As a busy professional myself, I don’t have the time to do detailed inspections of prospective properties (nor do I have the tools or know how).
John’s knowledge, of all things house related, is truly encyclopedic. He is like the google of home inspectors — he literally knows everything. I was thinking maybe he is a robot but he is too nice of a person to be a cyborg so I’m pretty sure he is real flesh and blood.
John is now my only go-​to guy when it comes to home inspection. I’m so happy to find him on Unilocal and as you can see from the other reviews, many many happy people are singing his praises.
It’s so scary to make a HUGE purchase like a home and John will take the time to really let you know what’s going on and what you are in for as far as potential defects.

I met John in March 2015 and he has since been a source I don’t know how I lived without! John is certified across the board. Without acting like a know it all, he will accurately inspect your property from top to bottom, he misses nothing! Don’t fret, John is kind and personable meaning he doesn’t make you feel bad for things that may not be perfect, instead he will lead you in the right direction to get them fiixed. I have nothing but rave reviews for John, he is the out right BEST. A great recommendation for first time buyers or sellers, no need to feel bad about your investments, just use John to learn more about where your money goes.

I used John for an inspection a few months ago and I was very impressed with him and his service. John is a no-​muss, no-​fuss guy. He is honest and forthright, and works hard. His inspections was very thorough, and my partner and I were impressed. We always used Larocca, thinking they were the best in the business. But we liked John so we went with him this time, and were not at all disappointed. He will do whatever it takes to get the job done right and stand by his work. We will definitely use him again in the future.

We would highly recommend John. We are very satisfied with his professionalism, friendliness, and honesty. We knew John is a mold specialist which is why we initially hired him as the seller had informed us that they had recently fixed a mold problem in the bathroom. We asked John if he should perform additional test to examine the mold, John informed us that based on what he has already seen, there was no benefit in doing the mold examination. John could have easily sold us the mold examination service but instead he was very ethical and told us not to waste our money. Lastly, John is able to produce and complete our report on the same day, which is important for us as we only have a 10 day inspection period.
