I don’t know why this place has bad reviews. I’ve purchased three miele vacuums from there (for myself and family) and always received great service. Luis is the guy who helped with my last two purchases and was very helpful. They do repairs and service too. I assume the negatives have a touch of snobbery.

I had a great experience here. I took my vacuum in on a Thursday and was told I would have an estimate by Saturday after they got a chance to diagnose it. My vacuum was only working in the upright position, the motor would stop when I put the handle down to get under tables or chairs. I got a call the next day (Friday) with the diagnosis and told that the vacuum would be ready for pickup on Saturday. I was told there were 2 broken wires that run the cleaner head motor, they were replaced and the vacuum was returned to me within 2 days. What more could you ask for? They are polite, knowledgeable and everything was completed BEFORE promised. I had been going to a crotchety old man at a vacuum repair center in Thousand Oaks where I live and decided I didn’t want to do business with him any longer and that the drive to Woodland Hills would be worth my time. I was not disappointed. Bob’s Vac and Sew will have my service from now on.

I have been going here for years, and find them very helpful and knowledgeable, they don’t carry a lot of manufacturers, but what they carry is very good quality. I have had my vacuum fixed there, and that went well too. Bob’s vacuum represents old time values where customers are treated well and not like a number. After many years being a customer I write this review today because tonight I was reminded how they go the extra mile. I had a last minute carpet cleaner problem — and I called Bob’s in a panic as I was getting ready for a party tomorrow. They were accommodating and made sure my problem was resolved — treated me in a way that doesn’t happen at the big stores.
