I cannot tell you how disappointed I am (among many of my friends as well) that Project V Distillery has gone out of business. Quite simply, the best vodka on the planet! My friends and I have been scouring the PNW and purchasing every last bottle of this delicious elixir. Please come back Mo!

After seeing how many people don’t know about the new booze additions from the reviews, I have to write one!!!
The owners Mo and Allen are my cousins and I remember when they first started experimenting in their garage almost 8 years ago. They have come so far and now have new additions to the Project V line.
The Gin came out last Halloween. Its crisp, slightly citrusey, and smooth going down. I LOVE GIN and this can be sipped or mixed. Great price too.
The WHISKEY is brand new and worth a try. (Sold out in 3 WEEKS) The next batch is done this November.
They now sell pork/​sausage in different cuts and preseasoned. The pigs are fed the winter wheat and an all natural diet. So yummy!
Come in and have a tasting! But you might want to do it seperate of the wine tastings, as there are many many choices to ponder over.

We were on our yearly christmas tasting and stopped by Project V again… such a great experience. They have added Gin to their lineup and it was oh so good.

Project V is one of the greatest craft distilleries in the greater Seattle area. They are located in a business park in woodinville known for its wine; however, if you miss this little gem you will be disappointed.
Project V started off creating vodka. I say creating because if you ever go to project v you can take a tour and there you will find that it is a well cared for craft. It is common that on your tour you will meet the owner who is absolutely awesome. She will tell you all about how she got started making vodka right out of her own home.
One of the coolest things about project v is they have your traditional vodka and some very tasty twists on the original. They have a unfiltered vodka which is unique, along with the you can’t find anywhere else chai vodka.
During my most recent trip I went to get a bottle of the newly released gin– modeled after the owners favorite Hendrix – this gin surpasses all expectations with a very rare capture of almond flavor and smooth finish. Just go in they will let you try some.
I really can’t wait until they release their whiskey!

They had a free tasting the day we went and you get about a shot of vodka after the 4 samples you taste!
The younger girl (about our age) giving out the samples was knowledgeable her family runs the place. All 4 vodkas were awesome the Chai vodka is dangerously drinkable!
We ended up leaving with a bottle of vodka that cost almost $ 40! It was so worth it though!
Our dog was welcome although he was not happy about the real stuffed animals (taxidermy) the smell of them probably didn’t help along with the realistic look.

Great staff, owner is SUPER nice, and awesome vodka — what more could you ask for?. Bacon!!! Well, they have that too!

Their chai vodka nearly has me in tears every time I taste it. As soon as you walk inside, they have a sampling bar where you can give their vodka a try. Yes, it’s slightly steep at $ 51 a bottle, be forewarned. Super good on it’s own though and it will last awhile (so long as you don’t share it too much). The people who run this place are super friendly, too, and if you ever find yourself in Woodinville’s warehouse district it’s worth a visit.

This place is hilarious! You definitely have to go check it out and just LOOK inside. The décor is nuts. I won’t go into detail so you can have the same shock factor as me. But I will tell you the story behind it. The lady who is the distiller has a big family and though they cant help her make the vodka they wanted to help decorate it. Thus the crazy weird décor.
I don’t really like the hard alcohol tasting but when I saw that they had CHAI VODKA I had to try! Oh man the possibilities are endless with this one, the best combo they recommended to me was in EGG NOG! OH MAN. Starbucks eggnog latte + chai vodka = good day at work hahaha just kidding. I asked how much the bottle for it was and he said $ 50 –eek — little too pricey for my blood to just up and impulse buy a bottle but it was good I give it that. I would maybe even consider baking with it… hmm…I made sure to make a mental note and maybe come back during the holidays.

Not my thing, at all. This is in a very industrial area as well, just doesn’t fit. We didn’t understand the barbie chandelier in the back either and we were pretty sure the 50 something teen lady is on drugs.

This is the first and only (to date) distillery that I have visited. As I was being taken on a tour of Woodinville’s booze stops, I wasn’t really sure where I was when we first walked in here. No one explained anything and there didn’t seem to be any staff around. I’m all for running a business like it’s home, very comfortable and open to visitors, but I was completely confused for about 80% of the time I was in here.
I did, however, get to taste some of their pure grain alcohol straight from the tap. That’s a very interesting experience to say the least. I found their décor to be too much like they were trying way too hard to be a flea market as well. There was crap everywhere. Eclectic is good, but when you’re trying this hard to be that way it is not.

This place is fricken awesome. The vodka tasting is free. I had a hard time with tasting straight vodka, but did enjoy the chai vodka they had. Very unique and smooth, couldn’t really taste the vodka all that much. The person doing the tasting was awesome, knowledgable and friendly. The distillery in the back was cool and I believe they built it themselves. And the décor — LOVE IT. Stuffed animals, barbie chandalier, big pink pigs, V-​Dub… it’s just a fun place to be with great vodka (and pork — lotsa pork). Mos Def stop in and try some vodka, you’ll love it and wanna get more of it.

I love the various distilleries in the area and I am really impressed with what is being produced in Washington State. Project V is definitely a go to if you are in the area or want to try something else other than wine. I absolutely love their vodka and find it incredibly easy to drink. The Chai Vodka is a nice touch too.
The tasting room is cool and is awesome when you get an explanation about the distilling process. I try to go when they aren’t packed just because it is easier to move around. Also have not tried their sausage yet; I keep meaning to but just haven’t.
The only thing I don’t know is if they can ship out of state. I recently moved to Florida and I don’t think anyone sells their product down their as of now. The next time I go in I’ll have to stock up and pack my suitcase with their awesome vodka!

Not only is this place great, it’s in the giant wine-​soaked industrial area of Woodinville, so just have a cab drop you off at noon and pick you up around 5pm.
This is GREAT vodka. After a run-​in with a fifth of Absolut during «Shot Fest 2004» in college, even a single shot of most vodkas makes my body revolt with same wicked nausea. Kind of like muscle memory, maybe? Anyway, this stuff is completely different — I could sip shots of it, no problem. The only other vodka that I can say the same of is the Woodinville Whiskey Co.‘s Peabody Jones. Perhaps it’s the WA-​grown white tail wheat used in both? Look at me be a vodka snob.
Anyway, the husband and wife team that run the place are fabulously zany and elevate things beyond the usual tasting/​tour. The tastings are free and they encourage you to wander past the taxidermy in the lobby through to the production area in back, where they have vintage records playing (I spotted Rod Stewart from his non-​leather days!) and their homemade distilling equipment. Don’t miss the Barbie chandelier.
Also, they feed pigs their spent grains and make sausage out of them. I’m a vegetarian, but my husband bought some and said it was pretty damn awesome.
Finally: free Tootsie pops near the entrance. WHAT ELSE ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

This vodka is legit. Weeks later I still think of the warm, sexy feeling the higher proofs left on my tongue. Their vodkas don’t have that bite that I find unappealing in most vodkas.
See, I’m a scotch kind of gal and vodka really isn’t my #1 choice. If consumed I become a slop. I rarely find it smooth enough to enjoy slowly. Dirty martinis down the hatch!
But indeed, this vodka is good. I’d drink vodka more often if this is what I had on hand.

Located in an industrial park, it’s a bit tricky to find. But perseverance is rewarded.
We visited on a rainy Friday, and were immediately greeted by the distiller. Very friendly and truly excited about his job. He explained his process, including how the grains are locally sourced, used for production, then used to feed the cattle that are eventually turned into the pork products that they sell. Sadly, no pork was available that day.
Full tour includes tasting and doesn’t take too long. The distillery has a bohemian quality to it, but that’s part of the charm. They start with their standard vodka, and work backwards in the refining process, all the way up to a very high proof spirit that has an equally high concentration of flavor. The last taste is their chai infused vodka. I’ve never been one for infused vodkas, but this was outstanding.
They have a great line of products. I left after buying a bottle of the Chai Infusion Vodka and a bottle of the 100 proof Distillers Cut. Total came to about $ 100.

Ok — gotta say I love this place! Between the people and the unique Vodka you are not going to find a more fun place to sample Vodka! Family made, farmed and run, this place loves what they do! A must stop when touring Woodinville!

What a find! I have to remember to thank the person who I met at a local brewery that recommended Project V. This is easily the best vodka I have ever tasted. I will never buy «big name» brand vodka again! These guys are passionate about what they do and it shows in the product they put out.

We visited this place a couple days ago in the afternoon on a Friday. It’s small and situated (AKA hidden) in an industrial lot with a ton of wineries. We walked inside and it’s cramped and packed full of «stuff». There is a lot of random stuff and our daughter asked a lot of questions on the stuffed animals, including a fox and what looked to be a falcon sitting on top of one of the fermenters. It’s pretty awesome in there and the gentleman we spoke to (I didn’t catch his name) was incredibly welcoming and informative. They even had some kids toys that my daughter was able to play with while we tasted their adult beverages (yes we are horrible, horrible parents!)
We learned not only about their vodka but about how everything we’ve been sold and marketed about vodka is wrong. You want filtered, right? WRONG! The selling point to many vodka’s is how many times they filter it. Why would you filter it? Because there’s impurities in it, of course! You can save a lot of money making cheap vodka and filtering the shit out of it. Then all you have to do is market it to people who don’t know any better.
If you like vodka, or even if you don’t, you need to come in and try their product. We bought their unfiltered distillers cut and their single silo chai infusion kit (yes it’s a bit overpriced). The distillers cut is, to put it simply, the best vodka I’ve ever had. The chai infused (which I’m drinking as I type this) is god damned delicious with some ginger ale!
I will return and I will buy vodka from them at every opportunity. I suggest you come in and check them out, it is time well spent, I assure you!

I can pretty much speak ill of almost any vodka any time, hardly any of them have a leg to stand on. This one is different:
–family made
–family farmed wheat
–pot stilled
–lightly filtered
–very good.
Next time someone is telling you how great a vodka is, ask them about any of those things and watch them begin to stutter.

I am a whiskey man. I have never been into drinking vodka neat, but this vodka is a game changer in my mind, especially the Unfiltered Distillers Cut. It is creamy and smooth… outstanding.
The Chai infused vodka is amazing, truly delicious. The infusing kit is a too expensive for a bottle of vodka, a mason jar, and a tea bag.
The distillery is great. The staff are eager to talk about their craft and product. Based on what they told me, I believe that Washington is primed to have some of the be locally sourced spirits in the country.
