Owner, Charlie Anderson grew up locally in Redmond and has a degree from Central Washington University in business administration 1988.

A to Z came and gave us a bid within a few days of calling. Bid was fair. We booked the work. They showed up on time a couple of days later and did an excellent job removing 3 trees for us. They also did a complete cleanup and haul away leaving nothing behind. Great job! Highly recommend.

The A to Z team was great and affordable. We had 5 stumps we needed removed and they did all of them in a couple hours. They took great care in protecting the other things in our yard and our fence. They were friendly, quick and professional. I would definitely choose them again in the future.

We just had some pruning done by A to Z trees. We were able to quickly arrange for a quote (using their online form). After receiving the quote, they were very responsive and easy to work with over email. On the day of service, they came on time, did what was asked and cleaned up after themselves. I will call them again if we need more tree services.

I contacted A to Z in May regarding trimming a huge cedar tree in our yard. They sent someone over the next day while we weren’t home to look at the tree in question. A paper quote was left taped to our door. I called the company two days later to arrange for the work to be done and was quickly and rudely told to just sign the quote and fax it to the number on the paper. When I responded that I don’t have a scanner or fax, I was told to figure it out. After a moment of awkward silence I asked if I could take a photo with my mobile and send it to their email. That was agreed upon so I did just that within 2 minutes of hanging up the phone.
Then nothing.
On September 24th — OVER FOUR MONTHS LATER — I get an email saying that they’ve scheduled my service for Sept 30th and to expect someone around noon.
Seriously? I hear nothing for four months and then get a service scheduled? Um, no. I simply replied and said please don’t send anyone, after going so long without hearing from anyone I figured they didn’t want my business and looked elsewhere.
I don’t know why my service was overlooked for so long as no one ever offered me any explanation or apologies. If their customer service was this bad when I wanted to give them money for a job, I can’t imagine how terrible it would have been if I had paid them and then had an issue that needed resolving.

While most other tree services encourage you to get unnecessary things done or even chop off your trees, Jericho and team assessed our needs and only recommended the essential changes we needed to make. The team was timely, efficient and cleaned up well. Will definitely go back to these guys next time we need help with our trees.

This review is tough to give as I don’t know if I can fault the company as much as one employee, but here’s the story.
We set up a time for A to Z to come out and give us an estimate on removing 2 – 8 large evergreen trees. They sent someone out who took a look and was incredibly helpful, giving me an itemized estimate so I could choose what was done. He then brought out an aborist to review everything and submit it to Woodinville for a permit. He put his own contact info on the permit and said it would take 2 weeks max. After 2 weeks, I had heard nothing. I called him and asked if he heard anything and he said no, that it may be a little longer. Then 2 weeks more go by, I call and he says the same thing. I decide to call the city of Woodinville, who tell me that the permit has been ready for a month, and it only took one day to process. So I call back to A to Z and ask them what’s going on. They explain that the guy working with me has had some personal issues and is no longer with the company, so they’ll send someone new out to work out a schedule.
They send someone out and he tells me they can get the trees removed over the course of 2 days, and they’d start the following week. The next day, he calls and asks if they can come out the next day, which works great. They do quick work and over the next 2 days, the trees are gone. They came the following week and ground up the stumps, which took maybe an hour. The entire project turned out fantastic and the rates were reasonable, but it was 5+ weeks from when they came out until they were done and there was little communication from A to Z about what was going on. I would definitely recommend them, but my experience wasn’t perfect.

I had 4 large stumps removed. I contacted A to Z on a Monday, they called back Tuesday, came out Thursday for a bid and completed the work the following Monday. I was happy with the communication, work and price.

They were easy to get an estimate from and offered a good fair price. (Not the cheapest I found but not the most expensive either)
Their team did a great job. I was surprised how quickly they got the job done for us.

This is the 2nd year that we brought them back, and Scott and his crew delivered a great job again! We had trees in our neighbors which needs to be trimmed down for view, and they are very courteous with every one, and considering the scope of the job, it’s amazing that they finished that in one and half day. Communication with them is always prompt and easy.

I originally spoke with Scott to obtain a quote to have a stump and surface roots removed. When he came out to do the job, a portion of the stump and many of the surface roots I expected to be gone were still there. Granted, I knew part of the stump couldn’t be removed because it was close to the house and I wasn’t there when he quoted to discuss expectations for the surface roots, I was still initially disappointed. The quote simply said «grind stump + surface roots 10″ deep, can only get 2−3″ from house corner.» I called and spoke to Charlie (owner) and he let me know Scott would be back out to fix the job and that he was originally rushed the first time because of another obligation. When all was said and done, I was happy with the work they did and that they tried to correct the issue. My only complaint is that communication could have been better and they had to come out twice.

The guy up there at the top of the tree manning the chainsaw has been with the company for 20 years, that says a lot to me about a company
This is the 2nd time we have used them, we won’t be using anyone else.

Great experience with these guys. Charlie is top notch and really took care of us. We had a huge 7ft trunk tree partially fall down in a storm. Charlie told me it was one of the worst he’d seen. Ended up having to bring in a crane. It wasn’t cheap but I expected it with needing a crane. It did take a while to line everybody up but he consistently communicated with me and told me what was going on.
I’d use them again.

Charlie was very nice on the phone and Scott came in two days later for an estimate, he was very understanding and professional, we decided to hire them to remove a large double tree in our front yard, but I was a little disappointed because I had to call a couple of times to confirm the actual date and time. Scott and his crew arrived on time, I was very impressed by how quick they were, Scott even help us to contact someone to pick up the firewood afterwards. I was going to give out 4.5 star feedback but my husband insists to leave 3-​star instead, because when the tree fell it kinda ruined the front lawn and left a huge amount of sawdust for him to clean up as well, but unfortunately no matter how hard he tried it still seems like mission impossible, he knows A to Z is not the one to blame, but he just feels sad because he had all new sod put down not very long ago.

Very pleased with the work from A to Z Stump & Tree. They were prompt for their appointment to give us a bid on the job. Charlie explained the work needed for the best health of the tree and the surrounding trees. He explained the process and cost in detail. On the day of the work, they were on time and very efficient. The crew took care to carefully lower the limbs instead of letting them free fall to the ground as a previous tree trimmer had done. They were meticulous in clean up. I would highly recommend their services.

I appreciate their prompt follow up for a quote after I filled out my request on their web site. Charlie replied by email the next day and had Scott stop over to meet with me a few days later.
I have a difficult situation with large tree roots that have pushed up a concrete walkway. Scott explained that he could grind the stump but he wouldn’t have access to the roots unless the concrete walkway was removed.
Another issue is that he uses a stump grinding machine that requires 37″ of level clearance to get it into our side yard and our gate is only 30″ wide, so we would have to have some of our fence removed.
Just talking with Scott helped me understand the problem and I may have to look at a method to dissolve the roots.
