Davinci Coffee invites you to come in and taste the difference homemade can make in Wolcott, CT. Our coffee house atmosphere is ideal for drinks, meals, meetings, and more. Stop by for a cup of coffee at the only independent coffee shop in town!

Stop by our friendly, European-style coffee house and stay for a while. Our friendly staff is here to whip up some fresh coffee, cappuccinos, and more. Our coffee is from the finest brands including Lavazza, Illy, and even our own house blends all made with CT Espresso.

A haven for coffee fans, we also offer fresh, homemade pastries, sandwiches, and more. In addition to our core menu, we also offer rotating pastries — whatever we feel like making that day! Cookies, croissants, scones, danishes, breakfast sandwiches, and more. We have the best baker in town. Try us for lunch too! We have favorites like the margarita panini served on fresh-baked panini bread.

We are a great place to sit and chat. Our shop is even available for private meetings and events.

History

Established in 2014.

Davinci Coffee was founded in 2014 after many years in the specialty coffee business and catering world. We decided that a European coffee house was the perfect fit for Wolcott, CT and our regulars agree! With so much success so far, we look forward to adding you to our long list of happy customers.

Luci has been known throughout Wolcott for her catering prowess and baking abilities. After retiring from catering, Luci decided to pursue her dream of opening a European coffee house featuring great, Italian and house coffees, fresh homemade pastries, and a cozy environment. Luci is proud to serve everyone who comes into the only independent coffee shop in town, Davinci Coffee. She hopes that you’ll consider stopping in one of these days that you’re headed out for coffee at a chain; you won’t regret the change of pace or the amazing flavor of the coffee!

This café is perfect for my needs. I love espresso and this establishment fits my needs perfectly. They serve baked goods, breakfast, and lunch sandwiches… I highly recommend stopping in and saying hi!

Traveling through the area for work, needed coffee but was willing for forgo it if all I could find was Dunkin Donuts. (erg). Fortunately Google maps picked the placed up. Came in as Lucy was starting to close up shop, but was more than friendly and accommodating. When I have *good* coffee, I take it black with no sugar. Doesn’t need it. And this coffee didn’t need one little thing. Wish I could have come by sooner to see what they had on the menu. The décor is very inviting, making you want to sit back, relax and just enjoy the world for a bit. Wish this place was in my state!

This place is terrible! I swung in, as I am a new local and want to discover and support local businesses. The owner was rude and condescending. Tried to tell me I did not know what I was ordering. I spent nearly two years in Seattle, I think I know a thing or two about good coffee. What was even more upsetting, is I ordered a large, and got a «greek dinner small» for $ 5 and change (see picture). Do not believe the other posts for this place, my guess is they are friends, as there is no way this place is higher then a 3 EVER! Save yourself the frustrations, and get the best cup of coffee just a mile down the road at Cheshire Coffee. They are 100% better, and the staff are the best ever! BTW, the coffee was atrocious and undrinkable. Tasted like sooty swill. I ended up dumping it out.

In this world of Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks it’s rare to find a true coffee shop. If you happen to be in the area we highly recommend Davinci coffee shop. Lucy is your hostess and she is very nice. They have a fine selection of coffee drinks and pastries. We had the Costa Rica nectar it was fabulous. Lucy uses LavAzza coffees. She gave the fresh pour over. She also makes sandwiches and they are good too.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because they are the only coffee shop in the area that seems to do high quality espresso and coffee, which is my priority. The shop itself isn’t super cozy for working on a paper or reading, but they do have one nook with a couch and chairs, and plenty of tables. The coffee though– mmmm. Lucy knows what she’s doing. I got a soy latte and came back the next day. I’m not from here but if I were, this would be my go-to. Pastries in the front too.

Great coffee! Try the Vietnamese Iced. It’s an experience so don’t be in a hurry. Nice relaxed atmosphere with comfy chairs. Lucy sat down and explained the process.

Great place to grab a coffee and be able to stay and talk with friends. I’ve been here four times and the coffee and service has been consistent. The owner is so very sweet and definitely knows her coffee. I’ve asked her for many suggestions before. She has almond and coconut milk as well. I went with a friend and we were able to catch up and feel cozy. I will be going here more often.

Walked in today before closing for the very first time and felt a warm welcome. It’s a small but very cozy place. The lady who attend me was very nice and you can tell it was a genuine and not just for a sale. I had a latte and a couple of cookies that were delicious. Dunkin donuts are right up the road but I will be making stops to this place more often. Go ahead and give it a try

Pleasant cozy place with good coffee including authentic Vietnamese coffee. Many goodies are made locally. The yummy authentic croissants are from a local French bakery. The owner was a nice authentic lady to talk with too. ;-)

Definitely a hidden gem. Was staying with the family at nearby Coco Key resort and were driving around looking for a breakfast spot. Stumbed upon this place. One of the best crossaints I ever had. Coffee was very good. I really enjoyed their capuccino. Sampled a few pasteries and very good. The owner who is really sweet gave my kids a few cookies which we all liked too. Over all a great place for fresh good coffee and and fresh good made on the spot pasteries.

I had seen someone else check in here earlier this week and was excited to try a new coffee shop in the area. I came for an iced coffee before lunch. The coffee shop is great inside– comfy couch and chairs, smaller tables, coffee beans and chocolates displayed for sale — a nice vibe. The owner is very friendly, and certainly knows her coffee. She explained exactly how and of the menu options are made, such as the iced Vietnamese coffee. She’s just getting started with this business, and is having a grand opening in a few weeks, May 21, to try to get the word out. I will definitely try to attend. In addition to coffee options, she has pastries, breakfast sandwiches and deli-like lunch sandwiches. I ended up ordering an iced macchiato, and it was great. My friend got an iced tea, and it was brewed strong (which he liked). They serve latazza brand coffee (the traditional Italian brand).
