I never write a review but just had to. Needed a pick-​me-​up and the pricy salons still disappointed so thought I’d try this location as it had great reviews unlike the other chain locations. Nicole did an amazing job and it’s the first time in years that I got multiple compliments on my doo. Not to mention, at the end of a long day, she had a great attitude and super friendly. Very talented stylist. Have recommended to friends and definitely going back!

If you are going blonde, want to touch up your blonde, have dead blonde hair ANYTHING!!! Charlene is the way to go. I’m a natural brunette, Got my hair done today, after trying to go blonde myself, and I walked in with dead over bleached orange hair and left with Candice Swanepoel blonde shiny hair and a perfect cut. She spent 4 hours on my hair, foiling, adding low lights, and treating the damage. When I left My hair looked naturally blonde. Like I was born blonde. She knew exactly what she was talking about. I will never go to anyone else. If you go in ask for Charlene. She’s unbelievable and super fun to talk to. And the price was perfect. She’s amazing. Seriously.

This is my go-​to hair salon! Sarah and Doug both do an excellent job, listen to your requests and also are great eyebrow-​waxers! I drive all the way from Somerville to see them because I know I’m guaranteed a great cut that I’m happy with! My profile pic is of Doug’s cut fresh from the salon; he’s awesome!

I had my hair cut by Kelly today who recommended that I also get a treatment for my dry winter hair (at a VERY affordable price — I am a grad student). She had tons of great advice and was really fun to talk to. I have always been able to walk right in and be seen immediately. I have not been so happy with a haircut for a long time. She got an idea of what I wanted done but also gave me suggestions that I was more than willing to go along with to get my hair back to looking healthy after a rough winter. It’s great to see such knowledgeable stylists for a very reasonable price.

Love this place! After destroying my hair with a box color, went here and saw Sarah. Oh she is great saved my hair and my looks. She took time to ask me how I wanted my hair. I did full color with partial highlights. Total $ 108! Can’t beat that and I was in and out in 2 hours.

I recently got extensions put in but unfortunately the lady who put them in «doesn’t like to cut hair» (never a good sign) so I had to get a trim to even everything out & mix well. Wanted to go the economical route since I had already spent so much money buying the hair, putting it in, etc.
I had the pleasure of having Sarah, the salon leader, cut my hair. I walked in during my quick hour lunch break to get a dry cut. She immediately sat me down & got to work. She was very easy to talk to and offered me TONS of great advice on how to care for my extensions. She was friendly, open & answered all my questions. She paid attention to details to make sure my layers were perfectly even and really took her time to make sure I was satisfied. The grand total was $ 16.
She also used the It’s A 10 hair serum at the end which I absolutely fell in love with. In fact, I just went back yesterday to buy a bottle and even got a free gourmet cupcake from another very nice lady named Diane (if I’m not mistaken). How can you not love this place?!
If you’re someone who doesn’t do anything crazy with your hair & wants good quality results that are phenomenally priced, this place is for you.

I like this place and so far had interaction with only good people. They are friendly and always do the needful. I prefer this place instead of Supercuts. People at supercut are always in rush. This week I had a hair cut for 2 and half year toddler and it was fun.

As long as Scott is working here, this is the only place that I will get my hair cut. He used to work in Boston high end salons so I have been getting $ 80 hair cuts for $ 16! Not only have I had two excellent hair cuts here but he is a blast to chat with. From the cuts I have seen walk out of there, the other stylists are pretty good as well. Each hair cuttery location varies with experience of their employees, but this is a great location!

I brought my kids here on a suggestion by a friend of mine who also has kids. Granted, we went to a different location, but I figured since they were a chain, perhaps the friendliness and customer service would be similar. Well, I was wrong. First, I called this place to find out their hours, and got a very rude person on the phone who pretty much would only give one-​word answers, I hung up thinking «wow, their receptionist is rude» but hoped the stylist would be a little better. Well, I think the receptionist was our stylist… she had the personality of a piece of paper. She obviously hadn’t had to cut many kids hair. She was actually getting mad when they wouldn’t look straight ahead for the whole haircut, (now I understand this is crucial to a good haircut, but you ask a three year old to look straight and they will, but not for very long!). I was annoyed that she was annoyed. Then my son gets up to get a cut and he was nervous and didn’t want to take his coat off. It was a fleece, basically a sweatshirt, and I wanted to avoid tears (he’s 3) so I asked if it would be ok if he kept his coat on and she was like, «well, I’m not going to be able to do his neck then», his neck was completely visible and accessible, and she did cut it without issue, so I’m not sure what the big deal was. Bottom line, don’t bring your kids here if getting a hair cut is not their favorite thing, the stylists don’t know how to put the kids at ease in my experience! They did walk away with a good trim, and we have Christmas pictures to take in the morning, so I’ll give them that. But the «chair side manner» needs work for kids anyway!
