Firestone Chiropractic & Wellness opened its doors in 2013 offering Chiropractic, Nutrition, and Massage Therapy. Our goal was provide a warm and caring holistic wellness center where individuals could come to seek treatment for pain and restore their quality of life. Business Owner

Dr. Kara Firestone graduated from the University of Delaware Honors Program with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science and a minor in Biological Science. She then attended the University of Bridgeport’s College of Chiropractic, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctoral degree in Chiropractic as well as a Master’s degree in Nutrition.

Dr. Yori bedside manner is wonderful. Considerate of your comfort, focused on both long and short term. I came in with rib and back pain… I will tell you the relief I have now versus the pain I came in with is bad apples and wonderful oranges.

First I started with chiropractor adjustments with Dr. Yori, to get prepared for my half marathon, and while after I started to see Dr. Kara for holistic nutrition sessions for my journey of better healthy, well I notice lots of changes by following Dr. Kara’s advice.
They’re both are just so passionate for what they do and shows on how dedicated they’re with their patients.

I just had a massage from Skyler, and it was AMAZING! I have had a lot of massages and I am really picky about who touches me, and Skyler really impressed me. She has a unique style that combines a lot of stretching during the massage and really connects the whole body with long strokes, afterwards I felt like every muscle in my body had been elongated and relaxed. She also includes a lot of luxurious extras like heating pads and hot towels. Everyone in the office was super friendly and professional, I will definitely be back!

I’ve had the pleasure of benefiting from the skills of Kara Firestone for the last four years. She is not only a highly trained and skilled chiropractor but also very knowledgeable in nutrition. And maybe best of all is my work with Kara involving muscle testing. If you are not familiar with muscle testing and its practical applications, please ask her when you see her. Everyone could significantly benefit from the combination of skills she brings to the «table». Oh, I almost to forgot to mention that her ‘bedside manner’ is second to none!

Firestone Chiropractic and Wellness is an amazing place! No matter what your ailment, Dr. Kara and team can help you regain health and wellness and alleviate and even banish pain. Dr. Kara is an extremely knowledgeable and patient person who truly wants to get to the root cause of the issue. She has an incredible bedside manner and her goal is to make you well! I have seen Dr. Kara for headaches, TMJ & sinus as well as stomach and hormonal issues… she’s the best! If you’re disappointed with Traditional Western medicine and masking the real issue behind your aches and pains, go see Dr. Kara. Even if you feel good she can help you maintain optimal health!

I started seeing Kara when she was in Waltham. Even though she’s not as convenient geographically for me now, I followed her to Woburn and wouldn’t think twice about doing it again in a heartbeat. Kara is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic and innovative. I have probably the worst case of TMJ any of my doctors have ever seen and she is always able to alleviate my pain and discomfort to a level that no one else has been able.
She listens to what her patients have to say, takes impeccable notes and is very thorough with treatment and followup. She has gone out of her way and above and beyond to hunt down supplement distributors for me when I’ve run out of prescribed remedies. She does whatever she can to fit me in if there’s an urgent need, and I’ve referred at least a half-​dozen patients to her practice who all love and praise her!

I’m thrilled to have Mary Wahlman-​Krogh practicing at Firestone! She is an amazing practitioner who provides massage therapy that is both relaxing and therapeutic. I have suffered with migraines, chronic headaches, and back pain for over a decade. Regular myofascial massages from Mary have been extremely helpful in reducing my level of pain on a daily basis.

Two years ago, a MRI revealed that the pain in my lower back was due to a bulging disc. I spent months driving around to orthopedists, physical therapists, and chiropractors searching for some relief. The pain continued for over a year, and it would have continued for much longer if I had not visited Kara Firestone. Unlike other chiropractors who love to crack you a couple times and send you on your way, Kara takes the time to scan your whole body and look for imbalances and problem spots. She treats you like a person, not a number in line, and in a few visits I began to regain strength and flexibility in my back. I am now nearly back to where I was before my disc problem, and I have Kara to thank for it. Of the three chiropractors I have used in the area, Kara is far and away the best.
