Fast service the driver was so helpful and the dispatcher got us pick up asap will use checker cab when ever I’m in woburn

Had to use this company again as a last resort and they never showed up! Said they would be at the hotel in 20 minutes and we waited over an hour. Worst company ever.

My favorite cab company! I have been using Checker Cab for years and they have been great. Always on time. They even stayed out longer during a blizzard to make sure I got home, I highly recommend! A++++

Had to call Checker cab because Woburn cab was so awful to me. Checker was very professional on the phone. A little late on the pick up, but not bad. I’ll probably use them again.

This has to be the WORST company in all of Woburn. I recently had my flight delayed and got into Woburn via Logan Express at a later than reasonable hour to expect someone to pick me up. Despite previous negative experiences with this company (rude driver, smoke reeking car, obscene rates) I called because they are the ONLY cab in Woburn open at that hour according to the guy who works at Logan express. I reluctantly called and was greeted once again by one of the nastiest sounding people I have ever encountered via telephone. I politely requested a cab pick me up at the bus terminal and her response was no one could come until 230. Bear in mind it is 145 in the morning when I am placing this call so there is no reasonable expectation that a cab is going to be tied up for an hour in this town. I’d also like to add that the woman who answered is the same woman who answers last time had the misfortune to use this service and the same one who picked me up. I am so sorry to have interrupted your stories or whatever it was that was so pressing you couldn’t pick me up. Checker cab you disgust me and I hope this review persuades at least one person to deny you their future business.

Terrible. Made a booking to catch an early flight from the suburbs. It is now 20 minutes late, and the airport drama that I’m about to face is getting worse by the second. The guy on the phone blamed the lateness on car trouble… very creative thinking. Never again.

This isthe WORST taxi company ever. I called up told the lady where I was going and simply asked how long it would be till the cab came. She SCREAMED at me and asked me if I was on drugs. (I’m not) so I said excuse are you she said yes. Clearly she was because you don’t scream at a customer. Worst service EVER! If I could rate a neg zeroi absolutely would!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Just used checker cab, said cab would be there in under ten minutes, took 25. Upon pickup, driver started to take the long route, I said «Please take the freeway» as it is just a few exits up, fast and easy right? WRONG.
The crazy lady, Dorothy C, says Cab can’t take going on freeway, it isn’t safe. Says she does her job her way, and if I don’t like it I can drive my own cab. She was very surly, and pathetic, like a lonely old women who’s kids never call (I can understand why).
Cab smelled like fresh cigarette smoke, and she blared religious music, and refused to turn it down when I had an incoming call.
She drove without seat belt at unsafe speeds, which over the potholes of Woburn isn’t a great idea.
She then had the nerve to ask why no tip? I mean seriously.
there is no meter, no information showing in these vehicles.
TAKE AT OWN RISK.
As a business, we are no longer going to have her information available to our employee’s, and will get another car service.

I called for a cab to pick me up at the BJs in Stoneham (on the Woburn/​Stoneham line). The ride was 4 miles and cost me $ 25. I assumed the service was going to be metered, and there’s no way it would have cost me that much. The driver said he had to come from Woburn (½ mile down the road), which added $ 10 to the charge. While the driver was nice enough, $ 25 to drive me 3 exits up the highway (literally 4 miles) was highway robbery. They charge $ 3.50 a mile on top of a ridiculous $ 10 charge. Can’t recommend you stay away from these guys enough, WTF?
