History

Established in 2007.

We were the 1^st Aikido dojo to be established in Winter Springs and are the only United States Aikido Federation dojo in Central Florida. Our vision is to provide the community with a positive and professional environment for learning an amazing, traditional Japanese martial art. We understand the need for fitness/​discipline/​fun for kids, positive role models for teens, and a lifelong practice for adults in a healthy atmosphere.

Meet the Business Owner

Youssef S.

Business Owner

Youssef Sadkane is a Shidoin instructor certified by the United States Aikido Federation. He began Aikido 30 yrs ago in his native country of Morocco, where he trained with Sensei Tamura. He began instructing and had a successful dojo for 10 years. After moving to the US, he worked in corrections in New York and has worked in security and training security personnel in Florida. As an Aikido instructor, Sensei Youssef was on the faculty of the University of Rochester in New York, Wagor High School in Taiwan. and is the current Chief Instructor of the Sadkane School for Aikido. In his 6 years of teaching in Winter Springs, Sensei Youssef has assisted in the promotion of 4 students to the level of blackbelt.
