Pia Esthetics Day Spa

So unhappy with Pia! I made an appointment a week ago and received a phone call (the morning of my appointment) saying their evening esthetician is sick. Instead of calling in another esthetician, I can either change my appointment to 2:30pm or cancel my appointment. I am going on vacation tomorrow morning so now I have to search for a new esthetician that has availability this evening since I work. This is not how I wanted to start my vacation. If you choose to go to Pia, maybe have a plan B in mind in case they cancel your appointment the day of.

Pia Day Spa is fabulous! I’ve come here for full body spray tans with Racheal and she is AMAZING. She makes you feel comfortable and really knows how to give you an authentic looking tan. I went to her the first time I had ever attempted to get a spray tan. I was hesitant to get two layers done since I didn’t know how it would take to my skin. The next day, I called and asked if I could get the second layer sprayed on me after all since I wanted the tan to last longer. Racheal was able to take me right in and did the second layer for no additional charge. I will be back for more services in the future. THANK YOU!

Beatriz is delightful and so professional. She obviously loves what she does, and makes me feel relaxed and pampered! I’m hooked! Pia is THE place for facials. I’ve also had great experiences with both manicures and pedicures. I recommend Pia to anyone and everyone!

The moment you want in the door, lemongrass fills the air– and begins the relaxation process. I have been going to this spa for 4 months now — for mani/​pedi service. Hands down, the best deal in town with the most comfe chairs to relax in. I would highly recommend this place– quaint, relaxing and highly attentive staff!

Beatriz is the best, makes you feel super comfortable, she is so sweet. If you are getting anything waxed, I highly recommend her. I’ve had a pedi/​mani here too and both were wonderful, the pedi is a little different than the smaller nail salons, but it’s a welcomed difference.

I have been in the industry for at least 18 years as an Esthetician and as a traveling waxing educator in high end hotels and spa locations. I also just moved here from another state and country prior, so nervous about what to expect! All the girls were great. The front desk girls that assisted me were wonderful and very caring. Offered me water, smiled a lot etc etc. Tatiana did my scalp massage and I felt very relaxed after it and during it. I’m not a big talker when it comes to having spa treatments, so it was nice that they left me to just enjoy the moment. Olivia did my microdermabrasion and this was also wonderful. She also gave me the info I needed about aftercare. I’m familiar wth the protocol, but some aren’t. So it was nice that she took the time to explain what some customers might not know. I felt bad as I was leaving as I realized I was low on cash for the tips. I Will leave a better tip when I go back in 3 weeks!

I have had the pleasure of being introduced and using PIA Esthetics services for almost 6 months now. I find the environment to be very relaxing, clean and comfortable. There has been 4 different estheticians that have catered to my every need with friendliness and knowledgeable understanding. I am happy to call this place my one-​stop shop for a woman’s pampering!

This is one of the best spas in town. The staff is helpful, friendly and the prices are in line with other spas. I get waxing services done by Beatrice. She is the absolute best!!!

I have been waxing since I was very young and have basically whittled away my eyebrows. I went in for a completely bare and brow maintenance. My gal (her name alludes me right now) was incredibly sweet, thorough (and I mean thoroooooough) she spent a good deal of time getting all of the hairs the wax missed which I LOVED. There is nothing worse than leaving an appointment only to find out that there are several stragglers. She cover all of the bases and I couldn’t be happier. And, she had some great product insight and is going to help me start trying to grow in my brows. This was overall a great experience. I’ll be back in 5 weeks for sure!

Irina was so helpful and took the time to educate me about my skincare regiment. I’m so happy with my whole experience at Pia. I will definetly be back for more products and services.

I had a massage and facial and they both were the best I have ever had. This place is really amazing. I don’t want to go anywhere else now!

I really liked the atmosphere of this place. Everyone was very nice, everything smelled great, it was awesome! I’ve only been once and the actual manicure wasn’t a great experience because the lady spoke no English at all and seemed really confused about what she was doing. But overall everyone was really great!

My closest friends & I had a spa day here for my 40^th birthday. The staff was amazing. They went above & beyond to make the experience special– they even had a personalized homemade cake, sangria & mimosas set up for us! Everyone was very pleased with their services ~ we did everything from massages (with Cara — she was awesome) to facials, scrubs, manis and pedis. All wonderful!!! Try the Fiji mani & pedi for sure. Will definitely recommend Pia to others!

This is the best place to go for waxing. No other place can compete when it comes to the quality of service, the quality of products and the friendly, professional attitude of the entire staff. I always see Beatriz for waxing. She is the best. She is quick and thorough, and she’s always in a good mood when I get there. I can’t imagine going anywhere else or trusting anyone else to do such a great job.

I have visited Pia Esthetics Day Spa twice and have left a happy customer both times. My first visit, I bought at «happy hour» package for a friend and I to enjoy for her birthday. We were supposed to get massages and manicures, but the masseurs were not available for the day I wanted the service (that was completely my fault for not planning in advance) but they gave me the option of a facial instead of the massage. So I took it and it was a great decision. Both my friend and I left extremely happy. The service and friendliness of the staff was phenomenal and I knew I had to come back.
The second time (just last week) I came alone for a much needed massage. I have had many massages in my day. Much of it has been therapeutic so I tend to be very picky about the overall precision and quality. Kara was spectacular. She found all of my issues and some I didn’t realize were problems until she was addressing them. I can’t really speak for anyone outside of Kara, but if you luck out and get her, she will work wonders on you.
As for the spa itself, it’s clean, fresh and welcoming in every sense. It has a «high-​end» feel while still keeping a «homey» environment that is welcoming and warm. My only warning for guests is the parking situation. It is somewhat limited and can be perceived as «tight» The entrance somewhat sneaks up on you. Also, the facility is located near the train rails, so as the train passes through, the sound WILL be inevitable and there is a slight shake to the entire building. Nothing that particularly bothered me, but if you’re sound sensitive when trying to relax, just be aware. It does pass quickly though.
Overall, I’m a fan of the services, the location, the staff and the remarkable customer service.

This place is absolutely amaaaaaaaaazing! I’m not even sure where to begin…
I was looking for a new place to try for a pedicure since my regular gal wasn’t available. This place popped up on many of my searches with great reviews and was close to home so I figured I had nothing to lose. I called to book an appointment for the hour-​long Fiji pedicure ($ 45) and they scheduled an early 9am appointment for a Monday. All was great until the morning of the appointment when I received a call about 30 minutes before my scheduled appt informing me that the nail technician would not be able to make it in due to a personal matter. I was a little disappointed but understand that things happen. The girl on the phone was very apologetic and because I was inconvenienced, they offered to comp my pedicure for when I rescheduled. It was a very nice gesture and one that I didn’t expect but appreciated. Customer service seems to be a huge thing here and they were willing to do whatever was needed to make things right. I was already impressed and hadn’t even had my pedicure yet.
I ended up scheduling for the next day after work. The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. The parking lot is a bit tight and it’s a pain to turn into without holding up traffic. That’s probably the only downside so I can live with that. The spa itself looks like a former house that was renovated into a quaint little spa. When you walk in, there is a front lobby receptionist off to your left. She welcomed me and gave me an ipad to fill out a short form with basic contact info. My nail technician, Sarah, was great– bright and cheerful. She invited me to choose a color (mainly OPI and Zoya colors) along with a scrub of my choice (I chose a coconut butter– seemed very Fiji like).
What I really loved about this place is that they don’t use the typical massage chairs with attached tubs for your feet to soak in. They use steel bowls which they fill with warm water so your feet can soak. I love this option as I feel it is very clean and hygienic but obviously it’s also a personal choice. I think the best part was the heated recliner I had the pleasure of sitting in during my pedicure. Seriously amazing. Some other highlights were the warm booties that Sarah put on my feet towards the end of the pedicure along with the heated neck cushion. This kind of pampering should end every workday!
Unfortunately, there was a little bit of a kerfuffle as I was leaving. There was an accident in front of the spa and the 2 cars involved along with the cop car pulled into the parking lot and blocked my car in– meaning I was left to wait about 40 minutes. I wasn’t really pleased with being «trapped» there and the staff was more than accommodating letting me wait inside the spa and even giving me a mini tour — they also offer manicures, waxing services, facials and massages. Reservations are highly recommended. There are only 2 mani and 2 pedi stations.
While my experience ended on a low note (by no fault of the spa), I still think this was an exceptional experience and will definitely be back. Totally worth the $$$$.

This is based on only the wax service. I wanted to try a new place for waxing since I drive by it everyday. Sarah was my esthetician and she was very professional and quick at her work.
The only issue I had was that they use wax with muslin strips rather than hard wax. After having more experience with hard wax, I feel waxing with muslin strips are a tad more painful. I’ve also notice hair regrowth is a lot quicker as well. Not sure if I would come back for a wax service, but probably would try something different.

What a great experience!
I’m a little paranoid when it comes to pedicures and I was so excited to see that Pia used bowls for their pedis instead of the chairs with the built-​in tubs with jets. So excited in fact that I quickly booked an appointment for my sister and me the day before her wedding.
I opted for the hour-​long Fiji pedis since it was a special occasion. We started off picking our polish colors and then our Fiji scents (that they use throughout the pedi!). The nail technicians were so friendly and open to chatting the whole time (I’m a talker…).
The Fiji pedi was the ultimate pampering experience! It lasted well over an hour and included an exfoliation session on my feet and lower legs which was like a mini massage! It also included getting my feet wrapped in warm towels and put inside warm booties.
The nail polish itself didn’t look AS perfect as it has at some other pedi places, but this was totally overshadowed by the experience!
