We had a visit for lunch at Cracker Barrel. Cracker Barrel is a great place to get good southern cooking most of the time. We’ve had a few«oops» in the past but normally you can count on good food and good service. My husband ordered his normal selection of vegetables. His favorite dish is the dumplings but these tasted more like flour than good dumplings. They were quickly replaced with other vegetables. I ordered the pecan crusted catfish with pinto beans and sweet carrots. The side dishes were absolutely delicious but the catfish wasn’t quite as tasty as I had ordered before. However, what’s to say? We still love Cracker Barrel and service was great.

Normally, I rate Cracker Barrel highly because the food is delicious, but tonight we did not have such a great experience. I ate the Sunday chicken dinner and my husband had the catfish. Almost immediately after dinner, my stomach did not feel so good. By the time we got home, we both suffered from what we can only guess is minor food poisoning or at least a common ingredient that did not settle well… I hate to rate this location so poorly because their staff and service was great, but the food did not agree with us :( Hoping this is s fluke. I’m sure we’ll go again, but just in case, I’m sticking with the veggie plate next time!

My family has eaten here over 15 times, that should give one a clue on food quality and service — consistently great. Contemporary menu with old style atmosphere. Employees have a positive attitude and treat the diner as a guest. We have never heard the response from a server«we can’t do that». Servers have the positive attitude of «I’ll make it happen»! Parking is a nightmare for availability of spaces, but not a restaurant problem — developer of strip center made a bad engineering decision. This chain location is run by strong management, the employees do not run the restaurant like some near by competitors. Overall you can’t go wrong if you want an A+ dining experience.

I am a fan of this cracker barrel because their customer service is awesome! And the customer service is consistent no matter how empty or full the restaurant is. Food was great today… the bread on my hubbys sandwhich was so fresh and soft. I didnt take any pics because we were starving and jumped right in.

The chicken and rice was really chicken tenders with rice pilaf. The food was good but not what we expected. Service was polite and quick. All in all a good experience just not the comfort food I expect from Cracker Barrel.

Food is always good as well as the sweet tea. Service is very attentive, too. However my vegetarian friends can never find any thing on their menu so it can’t be for everyone.

For a restaurant like Cracker Barrel, you know what you’re getting as far as the food is concerned. They offer good tasting breakfast for a very reasonable price. Based on the food alone I would give this location 4 stars, however, service must also be taken into consideration and that is where this location hurts its rating. The service here is best described as hit-or-miss. There have been visits in which our server is great: quick refills, extremely friendly and polite. On other visits, the server has seemed very disinterested, lackadaisical and it seemed as if we were a burden to him/her. The food is good enough to withstand the service shortfall, but not good enough to push it to a 4 star rating. The close location guarantees we’ll be back… with fingers crossed of course.

This has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes the staff is friendly, sometimes distracted and disinterested. Food is standard cracker barrel fare — never had a bad plate.

Cracker Barrel is my all time favorite breakfast spot. Why because all the delicious amazing food you get and the price is unbelievable. I was so sad when they closed down the Kirkman location because I used to go there frequently, but the good news is the Winter garden location is just as amazing. The location is not too far from my house and the food and service were great. My go too at cracker barrel is the infamous Sunrise Sampler. It literally has a sample of everything eggs, hash brown casserole, fried apples, sausage and ham. You can have a killer breakfast and coffee for like 8 dollars. Typically when you go to other breakfast spots they charge you for the extras but not at cracker barrel this is why I love this place, and will remain one of my favorite breakfast spots.

I had the Old Timers breakfast with the turkey sausage and hash brown casserole. It was delicious as always. The biscuits are delicious ! Can’t go wrong for $ 7.00. Service was fast and efficient.

I am a fan of Cracker Barrel in general, so I need to get that out there right away. As for this location, I have never had a bad experience. Service is always spot on, the food comes out hot, and the atmosphere is what you want when you go to a Cracker Barrel. We have had times we went in with a special request to put us by the fire that was lit that day, never a problem. As for the food itself, I have to give them some credit for finally jumping on the healthier food bandwagon. They now offer several dishes, like a pork chop, or chicken, which are low in calories, quite flavorful, and filling. They also list calories for their side items, so you don’t make a mistake there. Of course, the biscuits and gravy is really where it is at, but that is besides the point. If you are in the area, they are a great option.

I love Cracker Barrel. It’s affordable, has a great selection, and the food is great. Not to mention, they always have a seasonal that’s delicious and always changing. Love it. Prime reasons for five stars: 1) I have never waited, even when the place is slammed. 2) Great customer service! Staff is very inviting 3) I like that it has a store 4) Great selection! 5) VERY affordable I guess the only con would be that the menu may be overwhelming. However, the staff knows their stuff and they are very helpful.

Not everyone wants church service with lunch. But if you come in here prepare to be bombarded with loud gospel music and be pointed to their fine collection of duck dynasty merchandise — a real treat. They ‘welcome’ all but it can be uncomfortable. Keep your religion OUT of my lunch please!

Cracker Barrel has the best pancakes! I haven’t had better pancakes til this day. If you like iced coffee, ask for it. It’s not on the menu, but they will make it for you. I almost always crave Cracker Barrel on Sundays, which seems to be their busiest days haha. The wait is never too long, though. Cracker Barrel is always going to hold a special spot in my heart.

The place is a no frills chain. The food is good, servers are friendly and efficient. Was at First Watch down the street but came here after sitting there for 10 minutes without service(the place was even half empty). Came to a much more crowded Cracker Barrel and was seated immediately, drink order taken within 30 seconds, food came out quickly and was very good.

I love Cracker Barrel and all it’s deliciousness. I have been to this location plenty of times and the food is great every time. And great service. But I’ve never felt so disrespected like I was tonight at this location. I’m not a rude customer, I’m in the hospitality business and I’ve dealt with plenty of people. Our server name is Stacy. And I was treated as a thing not a person. My friend on the other end, was treated like a customer. She did not tend to me at all whatsoever. AVOIDSTACY

Cracker Barrel has been around for awhile now and I have eaten there in the past. This particular one is one of the better ones. The food is the same as any other one but for me, the service was good. I stopped going to Cracker Barrel a number of years ago because the food is not the most healthy but to my surprise, they have a new healthy menu! They have about 5 breakfast items and 6 lunch/dinner items. All of them are under 600 calories each. My breakfast was a total of 350 calories and I left there feeling full and happy that i did not eat a ton of calories. The place was packed but they were able to seat us right way. Again, the service was good and I will take more time to visit them again. Atmosphere = 7 Food = 8 Service = 8 Enjoy!

I fail to understand how ANYONE could negatively rate this business. Listen folks, its a diner with a country store theme — NOT a 5-star restaurant. The allure is that its all about a no frills experience with typical greasy fare off the grill. Eggs, bacon, ham, taters, etc. So please get over yourselves. I occasionally order a Thanksgiving platter from this place that I pick up in boxes. Just open, lay out on a table, and dig in! I’ve done it twice and it has never failed to «sassify» all those in attendance. I’ve done lunch here but its strictly a breakfast spot for the finest experience. Don’t come thinking you are getting a lavish spread. Its ham & eggs with a hot cup of joe — and a nice serving I might add. I have no doubt if you told the manager your dining experience was not up to par — you would get a better plate or a comped meal. I’ve seen it happen before myself so its not mere speculation. The store also has a fine assortment of cool gifts for the kids, family; including seasonal décor. I have never had a bad experience at any of the Cracker Barrel locations in Florida. I highly recommend going to one. If you complain about this place, you really need to take your high brow tastes elsewhere and pay triple for what you seek. Otherwise, you just come across sounding like a whiny cheapskate. Whoops! Did I say that? YEAH, I said it! Can I get an «Amen»?
