History
Established in 2010.
Began designing and creating hand painted clothing in 1989 in St. John, USVI; Established Deborah Designs in Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI, 1996 – 2004. Returned to home town Winston-Salem, NC, in late 2004. Shared studio space at 619 N. Trade St. in the Downtown Arts District, 2004 – 2009. Acquired own studio and shop space at 604-A N Trade St, operated as Willy Nilly from Jan. 2010– Feb. 2014. Moved to newly renovated studio space at 16⁄6 Sixteen Over Six, located at 213 West 6th St. where Deb continues to produce hand painted clothing as well as original and custom heat transfer designs on T-shirts. Deb also accepts commissions for pet portraits in pastel or colored pencil. She is in her studio every day during the afternoons; walk-ins welcome, but appointments are encouraged. A selection of hand painted clothing is available at Studio 7, located at 619 N. Trade St.
