Marys background in professional skin care started with a local cosmetic surgeon. Trained to look and treat the skin with advance care, Mary fell in love with making people feel and look better. All the while, she felt for people to experience the full reward of advanced skin care, it should be done in a relaxing, spa-​like environment. In 2012 she opened her own studio, Facials for Effect, with that very goal in mind.
