Came here over the weekend for my best friend’s wedding. Wow, what a beautiful venue! This is the epitome of a Texas Hill Country wedding. Rustic, charming, simple. The event from beginning to end was executed perfectly and flowed well throughout the evening. The staff was helpful throughout the night. It was a bit cold out this weekend but they had fire pits and outdoor heat lamps during cocktail hour. If you’re looking for a venue for a wedding or event and want that southern rustic vibe I highly recommend this venue. I fell in love with Wimberly, def. nice to breathe some fresh country air this weekend and get away from the city.

Old Glory Ranch is the perfect Texas Hill Country Venue. Not only is it beautiful, but the service and care we received was «top-​notch». Our family and friends are still talking about how beautiful everything was from the bluebonnets to the centerpieces to how magical the day flowed. Old Glory Ranch made the planning painless from the beginning with all of their wonderful vendor recommendations and they took excellent care of us all the way to the end. Suzanne’s passion for Old Glory Ranch and her eye for perfection were evident in all of the décor. Kim was our wedding coordinator and kept us all of us on track so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Gina and the OGR staff cared for my family and friends as their own. I cannot thank Suzanne and the amazing Old Glory Ranch staff enough for making my daughter’s dream of a fairy tale wedding full of love a reality.

My wedding at Old Glory was an absolute dream! Nothing was left out of the dream wedding that I imagined as a little girl. In fact, the wedding at Old Glory went above and beyond what I could imagine a wedding could even be! Old Glory is an absolute paradise! There is not an area that would not make the perfect picture with the trees, river, landscape, the chapel, and the wildflowers. The bluebonnets were in full bloom the weekend we were married and that was the best surprise I could ever have imagined. My precious grandmother had passed away unexpectedly a month prior to my wedding and one of her favorite flowers was the bluebonnet. I have never seen so many beautiful bluebonnets!
The best part of my wedding aside from the natural beauty of Old Glory was the staff! I did not have to worry about a thing! The day went so smoothly and my only job was to show up and enjoy the day. That meant a lot to me especially when I have seen brides in the past as a bride maid stress out before, during, and after the wedding. The personal touches that the staff did that day was actually the best part of my day and was so unexpected. I felt like I could have easily been royalty or a Hollywood celebrity that day with the friendliness of the staff knowing all the little things to say or do to make my experience one of a kind. For example, Gina took the time to take a picture of the first time my dad was able to see me dressed as a bride. That was a moment that she went above and beyond to capture a magical moment that will only happen once. It was something that I did not even think about when I planned my wedding and I appreciate the fact that she stopped and took the time to do so. The staff easily could have been a part of my family the way they cared for each moment as if I was his or her daughter. I am very thankful and appreciative of each and every one at Old Glory for being a part of my wedding.
Last I wanted to comment on the fact that I loved that we received a «goodie bag» at the end of the day. This included FOOD! When I say that Old Glory thought of everything, they did! I was starving after our reception and I loved the fact that we had «his and her» plates with silverware to have afterwards. Thank you for remembering the little things like food.

Our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was perfect in every way. The rustic features of this modern day chapel is complimented by the natural beauty of the Texas hill country. Gina, Kellye and the staff were very accommodating and provided first class service during the wedding planning and our big day. Our wedding party witnessed firsthand the outstanding quality of service, and still talk about it today. We did the majority of the planning from long distance. Gina made sure to make this typically stressful process a breeze. We were so impressed how they thought of every single detail. Even months after the wedding, we were pleasantly surprised with a CD containing photos from our wedding. This was not part of our contract, but just a thoughtful gift from Old Glory Ranch. The weather decided to drop down into a freeze, but we quickly forgot about how cold it was because of how warm the OGR family made us feel. They took care of everything and executed all of our whims flawlessly. I wish we could relive the day again and again.

Perfection! That is the first word that comes to mind when I think about my daughter’s wedding held at Old Glory Ranch on March 22, 2014. From the beautiful wedding deck setting, (overlooking the river) where they exchanged their vows, to the outdoor patio and grounds, everything was amazing! Old Glory Ranch managed to meld my more traditional vision with my daughter’s special flair and created a unique, beautiful ceremony and reception. The flowers, table décor, and over all atmosphere was a delight for all of our guests. The service was beyond compare-​Suzanne, Karen, and Gina kept us on track and helped steer us in the right direction throughout the whole wedding planning process. Kim was by our side from the moment we arrived and she made sure our event flowed effortlessly. Chris, the sound tech and DJ extraordinaire, set the mood at the ceremony and kept our guests on the dance floor with the perfect mix of all kinds of music. The entire staff epitomizes the true definition of a «class act». I have heard nothing but positive, glowing comments about our event and I owe that to everyone at Old Glory Ranch! If you are considering a wedding in your future, then you can’t go wrong by choosing Old Glory Ranch as your venue!

Old Glory Ranch is the PERFECT setting for a beautiful, rustic, elegant, hill country wedding! All of the staff is very professional, accommodating, and helpful. They replied to every little question I had before the big day very promptly, and made me feel so at ease. Gina and Kellye were my wedding coordinaters, and its obvious that they really know their stuff! My Dad, along with multiple guests, complimented their work. I have heard from almost all of the guests that attended our wedding that it was at least in the top 3 weddings they’ve been to, if not THE BEST! I am so happy with how everything went! We chose the wedding deck (on the Blanco river!) for our ceremony and the covered patio for our reception. Everything was absolutely beautiful! The setting is not only gorgeous, but has such a fun and easy going vibe. The flowers were gorgeous! I provided a few examples of what I liked and the florists at Old Glory Ranch exceeded expectations. All of the arrangements were unique, beautiful, and exactly what I pictured! We used the in-​house DJ, Chris Heckendorn, for our reception, and he nailed it! He made the party really fun and kept it going! Everyone has said that he was SUCH a good DJ! Our daughter’s wedding was perfect! We are still on cloud nine as we think about the way the Old Glory Ranch team executed every detail (and there were many) so seamlessly. From the carriage ride with her dad before she walked down the aisle to the fireworks at the end, sitting on the back of a vintage convertible with her new husband, the smile never left our daughter’s face. Our ceremony was lovely — the flowers were over the top — and the music filled the chapel in such a glorious manner! Their sound tech is amazing, and worked so well with all the musicians, vocalists and the band. Carey, the wedding coordinator, and Karen, the site manager, were present and visible throughout the night. From the first meeting to the last load placed in our car, Gina was there to give a warm hug! Suzanne, the owner, is very involved and is a pleasure to work with. Her passion is evident in every part of the process. It was an absolute pleasure for my husband, daughter, son-​in-​law and me to work with Old Glory Ranch!

When my son called to say «she said yes» we were so excited we could hardly contain ourselves. Then when he said they wanted to be married in Texas, I held my breath! As the mother of two boys I didn’t think I would be planning a wedding, but with the bride and groom and her parents living out of state I was asked to help! So, with a list of venues, a friend and I started the visits. It was an easy choice! Hands down, there was nothing that compared to Old Glory Ranch! EXCELLENCE… from the moment we drove through the gate to the night we drove away after the wedding. The venue is perfection. So many of the places we had visited throughout Austin and the Hill Country looked great online but when we would get there we would see how poorly maintained they were. Not so with Old Glory Ranch. The décor, the buildings, and the grounds are maintained with great perfection. Suzanne did an amazing job with the design package creating the country Christmas look the bride had dreamed of, complete with twinkling lights, candles, berries and greenery. The list of suggested vendors and their recommendations were superb. Carey helped us find an incredible band that people are still talking about, pointed me in the right direction for a vendor that helped us choose invitations with the OGR flavor and people raved about the food and the way it was displayed and served by a caterer they highly recommended. At the last minute we decided to use a videographer, and Gina made that happen! We were made to feel like royalty on the day of the wedding. Every detail was taken care! They use headsets to make sure everyone knows what is going on and it makes for a perfect wedding! On cue, the violinist stopped, the bells rang and the bride entered. I tear up thinking about it even now. When I say everything is taken care of for you, I mean EVERYTHING! Carey even made a plate of food for me when she noticed I had not had a chance to eat (too busy visiting). When the evening was over we were handed the keys to our car and everything we had brought there, along with the left over cake, a plate of food for my husband and I, and the left over alcohol was packed in there for us. My son and his bride left in their limo; Carey had made sure their luggage had been placed in the trunk, and plates of food and a bottle of champagne were inside for them to enjoy when they got to the hotel. That’s EXCELLENCE! I could say so much more but I think you would get tired of reading the word excellence! I am forever grateful to Carey, Gina, Karen, and Suzanne. They were always there for us; answering phone calls and numerous emails, giving great advice, suggestions and in general calming me down in moments of panic or confusion. They made a dream come true for my son and his bride!

Honestly, if I were planning my own wedding, I know the exact venue I would choose for my celebration. you guessed it. Old Glory Ranch.
Nestled back in the oak trees on what has to be one of the most scenic and romantic roads in the Hill Country, the venue just exudes romance and serenity.
Superbly manicured grounds, a beautiful chapel and celebration hall, and an attentive staff, all in the finest Hill Country tradition, it’s no wonder that Old Glory Ranch is one of the most popular wedding destinations in the county!

I had the distinct honor of attending a wedding reception at Old Glory Ranch and it’s the first time, ever, that I grabbed an information card so I wouldn’t have trouble remembering the place.
Awesome venue, great staff and if you decide to go with them, spring for the donkeys! :)
