I was seriously craving some ice cream even though it’s not hot outside but I couldn’t stop thinking about it so it was just a matter of finding a place near by I’d like.
I decided on Wilton Creamery because it’s near my house, the reviews are really good and the owners of Retro Video said it was good too. The owner DJ let me try as many flavors as I wanted and even explained the process on making them or what not as well.
My 2 favorite flavors that I tried were Grapenuts Ice Cream, which is made with of course Grapenuts cereal (and happens to be huge in the Caribbean! Who knew!) and the Argyle Coffee Brittle, which I decided on. It had a smooth and sweet coffee flavor and pieces of delicious brittle inside.
They also have some sorbets, regular toppings and some premium toppings like a cannoli cream that DJ was nice enough to let me sample. I think it might just have been the best cannoli I’ve ever had. Seriously.
Even though the prices are higher than some other local places, it’s worth it to me! I will definitely be back to Wilton Creamery again!

Excellent ice cream. Tons of flavors to choose from. Tons of toppings to choose from. Tons of flavors of whip cream. Ice cream lovers paradise. Owner also very friendly. We had dark choc, coconut and also a sample of lemon sorbet. Delicious.

Place was clean & cheerful. Menu filled with yummy, interesting favors. Owner was on hand to explain some recipes. Offered tasting samples. Can’t wait to return!

Found this little treasure of a place after a night out at Funky Buddha. Better than any menchies or other chain ice cream/​frozen yogurt place. PLUS, they have dairy free options like Butter Pecan!!! You gotta try the «He’s Not Worth It» flavor. It’s legit the best.

Great ice cream flavors but the consistency of the ice cream was more frozen/​icy than I prefer. Instead of a creamy consistency, I noticed chunks of ice. My cousins and boyfriend were great so maybe it was just a bad batch. I’ll have to use that as an excuse to come back for more ice cream.

This is the best ice cream I have ever put in my mouth. I had the dark chocolate and it was so rich and creamy. Definitely recommend making a stop here.

This place is the real deal when it comes to five-​star mom-​and-​pop ice cream shops. The selection is great and it’s not just your usual run-​of-​the-​mill flavors. I went with an extremely dark chocolate, but had a hard time passing up the sea salt caramel. The proprietor was very friendly and had no problem letting us sample as many flavors as we wanted. They also have a good selection of low sugar and dairy-​free ice creams; however, why even be alive if you’re going to eat that pseudo-​food?

Super impressed with this place. The flavor combinations are super creative with a bunch of limited flavor runs. Some of The toppings are house made and better than any lux shop I’ve been to… They have 8 diff. Whipped creams for gods sake…
The staff here was super cool and incredibly helpful.

Great ice cream! Stopped in while on vacation and we both tried «He’s not worth it» and the reeses flavor – love that the guy behind the counter was friendly, helpful and admittedly heavy handed because while the ice cream is good, it’s pricey! They don’t make the ice cream in house, they develop the flavors and send it to be made elsewhere. Use your Unilocal check in for 10% off!

I came in to this cute place really late one evening for some dessert after dinner. We were immediately greeted by some really friendly staff who let us try pretty much everything and made several recommendations. We ended up getting coffee and salted caramel. Both were fantastic but I loved the coffee flavor. I would like to come back to try their banana split. Only downside is that they are pretty pricey.

I used to think that «there ain’t no cure for the summertime blues» but then I found Wilton Creamery.
I love ice cream and I love creativity. Wilton Creamery is so fantastic because of how well it combines the two. Their ice cream is not made in house but they do create all their own recipes and whomever they partner with provides incredible scoops of super premium joy. The thoughtfulness of their ingredient combinations are only matched by the silliness of their flavor names. I have been there a couple of times and both times I was served by the owner.
He is kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient (so many samples).
Because the indecision was killing me I went with the ice cream flight. It is three small shot glasses of ice cream which can be served with toppings for $ 1 extra (definitely worth it) for a total of $ 5.25. It does not seem like a lot of ice cream compared to the standard scoops but they pack the cups and it ends up being a very satisfying portion. I picked the ice cream and let the owner pick the toppings and like an expert sommelier his pairings did not disappoint. Ice Cream #1, Christotopher loves chocolate (rich and decadent, Dark Chocolate ice cream with a dark chocolate fudge swirl and shaved dark chocolate flakes) topped with crunchy chocolate spheres and chocolate whipped cream. Yes, chocolate whipped cream. It is one of the many flavors of homemade whipped cream they have. That is just how serious they are, they don’t just have homemade whipped cream, they have many flavors of homemade whipped cream. Ice Cream #2, Salted Caramel topped with wet walnuts (walnuts in a homemade maple honey syrup). Ice Cream #3, the seasonal black cherry topped strawberries, almond slivers and of course whipped cream. Each of these mini sundaes was inspired and incredible.
Now, as great as Wilton Creamery is there are a couple things that I think can be improved. When the entire store is so well designed and each flavor and topping is so thought out it is surprising that anything is less than perfect. The ice cream flight is great and I would certainly order it again but the presentation is lacking. The ice cream shots make a mess because they are difficult to eat out of with the tiny sample spoons, However, you can’t use the regular spoons because they wouldn’t fit into the small cups. Due to the mess this is all served in a paper boat (necessary, yes, but it lowers the eye appeal). Maybe they could serve the flight as three mini cones in some sort of plastic rack. These mini cones lead into the next area that could be improved, the cones. Why are there store bought cones? Even the waffle cones. Even far inferior places like Kilwin’s and Cold Stone are making their own waffle cones and it makes a real difference. These are just a couple of small gripes with an otherwise great establishment.

This is one of the most over-​rated ice cream shops that I’ve been to. I went into the experience expecting Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, but there were no rivers of chocolate here. The staff was weird and a little bit too unprofessional for my taste. I’m all for informal customer service, but this took informal to the next level. The one employee was criticizing everything that the other one told us.
I had already forgiven them when I sat down to try their delicious looking chocolate ice cream. I was kind of shocked that one single scoop of such a basic flavor of ice cream with no toppings was $ 5. But, I conceded in my mind that it must be worth it. And… It wasn’t. I have had better chocolate ice cream from a generic supermarket brand carton.
I wanted to like this place. I really tried. But I would never come back…

Ahh I loved this place so much. We had the «he’s not worth it» in a sundae with tons of toppings. Unlimited toppings! They also have 6 flavors of whipped cream here! Craziness! We opted for the white chocolate whipped cream topped with rainbow sprinkles. :) Love that they have ice cream for pups too– ours loved the peanut butter :) Can’t wait to be back! The «he’s not worth it» ice cream is 100% worth the hype!

Not bad for ice cream, but not my favorite either. Came to Wilton Creamery this past weekend after wanting to try them out for forever. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They allowed us to try any and all flavors– I don’t think we tried all of them, but we came pretty close! I liked everything that I tried, but nothing really blew me away. I settled on he’s Not Worth It which seems to be the flavor of choice for most Unilocalers. The buttermilk ice cream with caramel and Oreos (some other ingredients too but I forget what they are) was tasty but again it didn’t blow me away. I was also disappointed that the oreos in the ice cream were mushy. I like when they are still in their hard cookie form so that they crunch when you bite into them. My guess is the consistency of the cookie changes depending on when in the ice cream making process you mix them in.
Something I did love about Wilton Creamery was their toppings bar. They had fantastic choices! I especially loved the chocolate crispies. Oh and they have a bunch of flavors of homemade whipped cream too. I didn’t try them, but they sound wonderful.
Another issue I had was the price– over $ 6 for 2 scoops. Seemed a little steep to me. My boyfriend just got one scoop with zero toppings and it was over $ 4!
Wilton Creamery was okay, but I think there are better options.

Tasty homemade ice cream. He has from the very exotic unique recipes and to the familiar comforting flavors. They do have sorbet, check the chalk board for the myriad flavors and variations. Every flavor we have had so far tastes **fresh**.
It’s so good I just don’t have much more to say. Cute cleverly designed place, very pleasant customer service, perhaps?

It is July 4^th weekend and well, it’s hot and holidays are always a good excuse to splurge. Saw all of the positive reviews and had to check it out.
Parking is easy in the garage directly behind the shop and upon entering, you are immersed with colors, lots of comfy chairs, and an upstairs loft.
Now to the money maker, the ice cream. They have tons of flavors from the humdrum vanilla to wacky flavors with savory herbs. The staff there could not have been friendlier while we perused the menu and all of the flavor combinations. This was a BIG decision! We decided to not make a single ice cream choice and went with a banana split where you get 3 flavors of ice cream. We chose the pineapple cilantro, berry beet tarragon, and Argyle coffee with blueberry/​lemon peel. I have since researched and Argyle coffee is a local roaster that I will definitely check out!
Our master banana split maker was meticulous in his making of the creation, pairing the macerated basil balsamic strawberries with the berry ice cream, the moscato wine soaked pineapples with the pineapple ice cream, and the chocolate syrup with coffee ice cream. I thought our decisions were done. Nope, we had a choice of 6 homemade whipped cream options! We went with strawberry. Absolutely delicious.
My husband and I tried as we might, even lounging on the couch as we chatted, but couldn’t finish it. I can’t wait to go back and see the rotations of new flavors. Thanks Wilton Creamery for a most decadent, delightful, and delectable evening!

As a (sadly) lactose intolerant guy, I don’t often go to Ice Cream places because I just get sad or jealous. But as my photo shows these folks have «Non Dairy» and «Sorbet» selections — more than just those listed — that made my heart soar & my tummy growl
DJ was friendly, knowledgable and helpful — offering tastes of several varieties of every type of ice cream and sorbet on hand. I love that they have unusual flavors such as Elderberry, Jackfruit and Passion Fruit in addition to the classic Ice Cream Shop flavors.
I highly recommend Wilton Creamery to any and all Fans of Frozen Yumminess!!!

We made a trip from Coral Springs after some yummy bbq nearby, and we are glad we did!
After looking for a flavor (or two, or five) to sample, and talking with the amazingly nice and knowledgable owner, we knew this was going to be delicious!
I opted to throw caution to the wind, and order the huge banana split even though my husband would not split mine with me! You pick three scoops– i did black raspberry, salted carmel, and good ol’ vanilla. It’s usually topped with balsamic strawberries, but i opted for the plain, and got strawberry flavored whipped cream (because why the F$@! not!?). It was amazing! The ice cream flavors are quite fancy– my husband couldn’t say no to a small batch specialty with elderflower, coconut, and lemongrass– it was amazing! They also had a specialty small batch of Thai iced tea– also noteworthy!
The service was friendly, and wonderful! The ice cream was even better! We can’t wait to return and try more flavors!

For ice cream, frozen yogurt and the like you basically have several choices in Wilton Manors: Dairy Queen, Menchie’s, Double Dippers and this place, Wilton Creamery, which is the place I like the best. First off, they are dog friendly and though I don’t have a dog, I like them. They all seem very well behaved; much better behaved than are the infamous Wilton Manors gay housewives or pet twink boyfriends, all of whom I think should really be collared and put on the end of leash, but then that’s just the way I tend to handle them.
The service is super friendly plus, they’ll even treat you to a sample and, unlike the sort of jaded, tired and worn out looking Dairy Queen, an inside area to sit down. Then, there are plenty of selections from which to choose including no sugar added choices, non-​dairy ice creams and sorbets plus some novel treats like ice cream nachos or a balsamic basil strawberry split.
Another good point I might mention about Wilton Creamery is that they are very sensitive as well as responsive to their customers, especially when it comes to Unilocal as one will note from the responses of DCJ, Wilton Creamery business owner, to Unilocal reviews.
