Community Development Services of Wilton Manors

OK all you straight women out there. I have news for you. When it comes to passing on rumors or relishing in gossip, you’ve got nothing over or even compared to us gay boyz. Just hang around the neighborhood bars of Wilton Manors and you’ll hear more gossip and rumors than you’d ever believe, some of it backstabbing, spiteful and jealously vicious, yes, but most of it just average about who is opening up what new bar, what new city changes or development are about to take place or what buildings are about to be redesigned, remodeled or what street changes or parking arrangements are about to be made.
Most of what you hear, however, is dead wrong, passed on altered fifth hand information or spoken by those who, after having consumed their fifth pink Cosmo have fewer functional brain cells left than any lower life form of amoeboid.
So what to do and where to really find out the facts of what is happening in Wilton Manors? The answer to all of these questions and more can be found at the Office of Community Development Services located on the second floor of Wilton Manors City Hall. It’s here where you will find the people in the know, the urban planners, those that issue the permits, write and apply for the various public development grants and are in the actual know of what is happening. Best off, they are all real professionals, totally friendly, spirited public servants who I found to be more than helpful and willing to answer any and all questions. And if they don’t know about something, they’ll tell you they don’t know but if they don’t, it is probably because no permits have been requested or because no actual plans for it have been made.
The offices, for a small city are bigger than you might think. Everything is new, has a nice waiting area and a reception desk. All is well arranged, the information available to them is easily within their access and since it is public information, they don’t hide or secret anything. I’ve had occasion to visit many city halls and development departments within various cities and from my other experiences, I can honestly vouch for the fact that the Community Development Services department of the City of Wilton Manors is really the best of the best; Five Stars.
