I was recommended to Anderson’s Auto by an area business. They installed a new belt tensioner for me an charged $ 190, I got no other estimates. The «check gauges» light came on after so I took the car back and was told I needed a new water pump and was told by Brian the price would be $ 300 and I could bring the car in the next day. When I came in the next morning Andy Anderson waited on my instead of Brian. I asked Andy what the price was going to be and he said Brian would have to call me. I walked down the street to have breakfast and Brian called to say the cost would be $ 600. I reminded him his quote the day before was $ 300 including parts and labor, he said today it is $ 600 so I him not to touch the car and I would be there to pick it up. On my way home, I got estimates from 2 other auto repair places (1 was about 2 blocks down the street from Anderson’s) and each came in at $ 300 exactly.
I will not be taking my car back to Andersons and if you decide to have the work on your car, I highly recommend you get a written estimate prior to scheduling repairs

Anderson’s Auto has done all the work I needed on my 2005 JEEP Wrangler and they always do a great job. I have a 3″ suspension lift on the JEEP and it was incorrectly installed by someone else and the back tore from the frame. They took care of it quickly and had it fixed in 2 days, even thought they had to re-​weld the frame and have everything realigned. I also use them to do all the work on my partner’s Chevrolet. They do great work and finish on time. I trust them as well because several times I have expected major problems but after they looked at my JEEP it turned out to be a simple and cheep fix. It is great to have a mechanic that is honest and well priced to look after my vehicles.
