I needed an oil change, needed to find a good reliable place, after reading the reviews of Hamil I decided to come here. They were very professional. They said my car would be ready at 330 pm and I got a phone call at 329 saying it was ready. I was waiting for them to try to sell me other services and they did not. I went a second time to get my brakes checked out. They told me I did not need new breaks and that they just needed to be lubed and cleaned. They could of obviously just changed the brakes without the need for it. I love this place, they are honest, reliable and do a great job, people love it so much because they have integrity, make sure you make an appointment as they are very busy!

Today Jan 6 2016 after a scheduled appointment for an alignment on my classic mercedes I arrived and as I was explaining a minor issue I was told by PETE an owner to take my car somewhere else. Because they don’t do classic cars. To date I have had them work on my 1978 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car and a 1984 Mercedes 380 SL in the last 3 years. I have never expected the rude treatment and embarrassment in front of other customers waiting for service. I highly recommend that you consider alternative repair help as I thought this was a reputable and respected establishment. Try to consider the treatment and embarrassment you will encounter at this Wilton Manors establishment.

I had to bring my car to Hamill tire yesterday because my engine light was on and I was having a hard time starting the car. I had just gotten the car back from the dealership last Saturday for doing work on the transmission. I received a call from Pete that the problem was related to the work done from the dealership. I called the dealership and they wanted pictures to prove it was related. Sure enough Pete was happy to stop what he was doing and take pictures for me and send them to my phone. Well the dealership said yes and that they would have the car towed back up to Northlake Blvd. During the night I realized that my transponder was still in my car along with my chargers for my work IPad and phone. So this morning we called and asked Fred to take my belongings out of the car. They really go above and beyond, the best customer service. Yes we moved out of the area and sometimes its not convenient but we know they are honest and trustworthy.

Let me first start by saying, THIS IS THE BEST AUTO-​REPAIR SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Not that I’m the queen of shops, but as a female you know how we typically get jerked around at these types of places… not here!
As soon as you walk-​in, you’re greeted with amazing customer service usually from Ryan. He always remember me & my car and provides fantastic quick service!
They never try to con me into buying extra stuff or something I really don’t need (especially because I’m a female).
I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now and recommend them to everyone & will keep recommending them.

HONEST is the first thing I think of when it comes to Hamill. I left the dealer with a
$ 3000 list of a repairs I just had to have done, according to the service advisor. I took my
car to Hamill, told them to fix it all, they called a couple hours later — not one thing
on that list needed to be done. These guys are fair, trustworthy, friendly, ethical and are
just a great neighborhood business that anyone can rely on!

Twelve years ago I began using this 3rd generation Firestone dealership for tire purchases and oil changes. Since that time and as my vehicle has aged, they have completed engine repairs (alternator, radiator replacements) and I have consistently found them to be honest, competent and professional. Contrary to some automotive services (e.g., free-​standing oil-​change franchises), I have never felt pressured or exploited; and their costs are reasonable relative to auto dealerships. Ryan, Pete and Fred are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
If you require a plush customer lounge with luxurious amenities that you ultimately pay for in service charges, this is not for you. However, if you want honest, competent and stress-​free automotive purchases and repairs, Hammill is for you.

Excellent auto service place that doesn’t nickel-​and-​dime you and provides honest and efficient services.
I’ve had an oil change and tire change conducted here, the latter only taking about 20 minutes. I called ahead and got a quote re: tire pricing. Unfortunately, the tires for my car are rare and typically need to be shipped, but Pete came up with a solid alternative. At checkout, the price was the same as quoted and there was no hard-​sell on extra services.
I highly recommend giving Hamill a shot.

My family has been going to Hamill tire for over 20 years. I would not go anywhere else. This is the most honest and helpful group of people I have ever dealt with. They will always find the problem and fix it while giving the most honest price. Even if you have a problem that they can’t fix i.e. AC or dents, they will point you in the right direction.

Great place! Just as everyone else has said, the staff is friendly and honest. Ryan was very helpful, I was in and out with two tires replaced in less than an hour. He explained the differences between my choices and gave me a quote for each — and that matched what I paid at the end. No extras or overselling. I’ll definitely be back!

Even though they are clearly very busy, they serviced my car SO quickly so I decided to wait the quick 40 minutes in their waiting area. I have been SO impressed with the professionalism and customer service Pete and Ryan give to each and every customer. They are straight up– no hidden costs and very honest. They helped me use my manufacturer warrantee to replace my battery and save me a ton of money versus going to Advanced Auto Parts to do it myself. I never thought I would be excited to go sit in a waiting room while my car get’s repaired, but I won’t mind coming back here. Great family run/​owned operation!

I had a pretty straight forward experience here at Hamill. They’re close to my neighborhood and the prices on the tire I wanted were comparable to an online store. I also went in thinking I would need a new CV axle, but Fred informed the car likely just had a bad ball bearing and wouldn’t need the axle replaced for quite a while. They saved me time and money and were polite not only to me, but to everyone that walked in the door. Add that to the warranty and I’m sold.
