Bought a unique dresser here yesterday that I am absolutely in love with! They have some really cool pieces and Tony was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

They have a good mix. Didn’t find what I was looking(very specific), but some other pieces I found interesting. Staf/owner was pretty cool.

Tony(owner) never sent me my payment. He claimed he did but refused to send any proof of payment when I requested it. He did offer to send me another check deducting $ 75 for reprocessing. I proved to him that I was dwelling at the address I gave him when he claims check was sent, but he refused to re-issue despite knowing that I never received payment. He is unscrupulous in his business practices and I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere!!!

Unlike a previous review, I find the arrangement and selection of furniture really well done. The place is clean, and very interesting. You can easily inspect any piece of furniture due to arrangement. The building is not air-conditioned which is why all of the doors are open. The owner is always helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this store.

No stars… no problem! This place pickrd up my furniture. I signed a contract with the purchase price. Went back 3 weeks later. All but 2 of the 17 items were gone. No check… no returned calls. Thieves!

I’ve been dealing with Tony at Almost New for nearly a year now. He is very courteous, polite, and is very good about taking care of business. He has sold many things for me and has a great selection of items at great prices. I would highly recommend this place.

I was pretty disappointed. I’ve driven by this place every day for a few months and seen them unloading what looked like nice stuff. But when I went in to shop yesterday, I didn’t see anything that looked well made or of good quality. Its basically one giant room with everything haphazardly strewn about. Its very dark and the place looks dirty. Things aren’t presented very nicely and I wonder how well they maintain the items they do have on consignment. The loafing dock door was open and I could see things they were bringing in. It was raining and nothing was covered! I was pretty amazed. I know the thrill of consignment shops is the hunt and the sense of victory when you find something. But if I found something here I’d worry that it had been ruined!

I came to Florida because my father died. Almost New picked up a truckload of his furniture, ten pieces of artwork and some accessories. They signed a contract with me to sell the furnishings, etc. and forward the checks to where I live. They now say that they don’t want any of the stuff(knowing full well that I live across the country and have not any way of retrieving the items!). I had the police involved who advised me that these people are thieves and that i should blast this out to every source known to me so that no one else could be taken. I came across Almost New essentially on accident. I was actually looking for thrift clothing stores, but once I came in I decided I might as well take a look around. Almost New had quite a eclectic mix of furniture. I enjoyed looking around the decent sized space where I could see a lot of quality goods. The staff was very friendly. Very much wanting to help. My only gripe with this place was I thought it was hugely over-priced. To me, a love seat set from the 90’s isn’t worth $ 1,000. If you’re going to pay that much, you might as well buy new, but that’s just me. They have a wide variety of things that pretty much meet any stylistic need. For me, I’d rather save money by thrifting then going broke in the process.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous furniture and unique pieces. Priced like new items however and that was the big turn off here, but it is a unique store and I wanted alot of the unique pieces in my home. So do not enter here thinking you will get a bargain. BIGMINUS no air conditioning. The place just had big industrial fans blowing. Parking is free and in front of the store.

Located on North Dixie just north of 5 points in Wilton Manors, Almost New is a large, like very large in area, auction, thrift and consignment store. All of the items, of course, are second time around but the stock covers a wide array of art, glass, decorator, lamp, desk and furniture items. It makes for an easy as well as an interesting browse with items ranging from near new condition to some that are, well just let me say on the shabby side. Unlike some of the other thrift stores in the area, this one is a private for profit business hence you don’t see a lot of discarded junk items, and it basically doesn’t have a theme to it such as would be with those that specialize in art deco or etc. But as with doing any thrift or second time around store, it can be good if you know what you’re looking at as well as what you are looking for. The one thing I really liked about the place was the helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff person I met. He really knew what was there and couldn’t have been more accommodating.
