I Just got back from south India, and the $ 9 lunch buffet fulfilled all my cravings! The service is always courteous, and the environment is lovely– on the inside, don’t let the outside turn you off.

Ate here today for lunch, with some coworkers, buffet style. I have to say was very good. Not too spicy, for me, which is good. My stomach felt fine after. I would recommend everyone to try some different style food, you would be surprised how good it is.

If you’re looking for quality Indian food, look no further. A lover of Indian cuisine, I have tried all of the other Indian restaurants in town and always come back to Tandoori Bites. Their buffet is a great place to start for beginners who are unsure of what to order. Ordering off the menu is great for those who know what they’re looking for and staff are happy to customize your meal to your desired level of spice. Be sure to try their Tandoori Mixer and their Lamb Briyani! Nithin and Tina are really accommodating and always take time to say hello and make sure you leave happy.

This is by far the best Indian Cuisine in Wilmington. Their dishes are always so expertly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tandoori always tender, juicy and flavorful. My other favorites are the Lamb Curry and Chicken Tika Masala. They also have a luncheon buffet which has a good assortment of dishes – reasonably priced. Finally, if you are in the mood for tasty Indian food this is certainly the place to dine.

Tandoori Bites has always been a favorite and has never disappointed. Today we tried the Sunday lunch buffet. At $ 10.99 per adult, it was a terrific deal and we definitely got our money’s worth. We are not buffet eaters by any stretch of the imagination, in fact we tend to avoid buffets and any place that serves a buffet. However, if you are able to find a buffet at a place that typically offers amazing food on the menu, why would you avoid their buffet when it enables you to try a little bit of all of the goodness they offer? Before choosing the buffet we took a quick inventory of what it had to offer and the«condition» of the food. Everything looked wonderful and it offered a great selection/variety of food. There were about six main dishes offered, mostly chicken; chicken curry, chicken tandoori, chicken tikki masala, chile chicken, chicken jalfrezi, goat bhuna, and a vegetable curry. There was a cabbage side dish, two mixed veggie side dishes, samosas, pakoras, pulao, jasmine rice, two types of soup, naan, and a bean dish. They had several desserts, and a full salad bar, with all the dipping sauces and chutneys needed for your naan and dishes. Service was fantastic; the servers kept our glasses filled and our plates continuously cleared as we made additional trips to the buffet. The buffet was definitely a great value and we will return. We also enjoy going in the evenings for the dinner menu. With the lights dimmed and the décor, it is a romantic, intimate setting, perfect for a date night.

We ordered the chana masala, yellow lentils, vegetable kofta, and potato samosas. Generous portion sizes and delicious food. The chana was my favorite from what we ordered. Also — from the outside, the restaurant doesn’t look fancy, but the interior is actually quite nice.

One of my favorite restaurants in wilmington and certainly the best indian restaurant i have eaten at here. Then again there are not many options available here. The butter chicken is to die for and me and my friend come frequently.

Buffet was flavorless and pretty boring. I’ve had much better Indian buffets in my time. The Naan was dried out crunchy, the chicken tiki sauce was watery and didn’t have that creamy taste like it’s supposed to. Wasn’t worth 10 bucks. Probably won’t go back.

We came for the lunch buffet and I would say it was average but good for the price point. I would love to come back and try the dinner menu. I am giving this place 5 stars because they were so accommodating to my party. We had our 2 dogs with us and they welcomed them and let us sit on the patio even though it was closed for lunch. The service was great although the staff wasn’t overly friendly. I would go back for dinner for sure and would try the lunch buffet again when in town.

I think I found one of my new favorite restaurants in Wilmington! Tandoori Bites has been on my ILM Restaurant Bucket List for months and I finally got to go last night. This place is wonderfully delightful. TB is decorated with rich colors, mood lighting and a great layout that makes each table feel intimate. This is a great date spot. The menu is vast and may feel a little overwhelming, but our waiter provided great recommendations and explanations of each dish. I love Indian food and am so glad we have a place this good in Wilmington. I ordered the classic Tikka Masala Chicken and my husband ordered the Lamb Korma. Both were amazing. I’m serious. Stuff your face good. We also ordered the Garlic Nan with Raita. Trust me, order a side of Nan. Nan doesn’t come with the meal, but it’s under $ 3 and you get a good amount. Before your meal comes out, they also give you this delicious flat cracker-like bread, it’s so good. The staff at Tandoori Bites is really friendly and attentive. Tandoori Bites is a great value for your time and money with the quality of these dishes, the atmosphere and the friendly staff. Plus! You can get a glass of house wine for only $ 4.50! Also, Tandoori Bites has a lunch buffet 7 days a week. I think its a couple of dollars more on the weekend, but they have more dishes and variety. I have not been yet, but I might have to go this weekend. .. I’m already craving more!

The food taste great, but they almost killed me this past Monday. DONOT go there if you have a food allergy– they were not honest with me about what what was in my meal and because of it I lost almost a week of my life. I am not sure if they are ignorant or just do not care, but I will never go back. The husband wife team who own this restaurant are actually quite lovely, and I wish them the best of luck. However I made it very well known to them both what I am allergic to, and they reassured me of my safety(when I offered to just sit and eat nothing as a precaution while my companion dined) and served it to me anyway. Truly saddened by their lack of knowledge as to what is in their food.

My wife and I love Indian food and we finally tried this Resturant tonight. The atmosphere is beautiful. The owner did a fantastic job laying out and decorating this Resturant! The mood lights and music add to the exquisite ambience. We tried the lentil soup, chicken curry, butter chicken, and garlic nan. All were excellent. We can’t wait until our next visit to this Indian oasis here in ILM!
