A hybrid creative artist space, and social gathering spot that’s always changing. Sit with, and talk to strangers.

History

Established in 2004.

North Carolina’s oldest operating Hookah Bar, created by Sebastian Gomez & Marcy Whipkins, after having moved from Venice Beach, CA. Insipired by such creative environments as Venice, Burning Man, Eastern Europe, speakeasies of yore, and bohemian gypsy camps.

Started on the fringe of Downtown Wilmington, to provide an alternative environment to the ubiquitous sports bar; growing its services to include performance entertainment services, mobile hookah lounges, and offsite event production.
