These Classic Rope Hammocks are hand woven from 8 mm soft-​spun polyester ropes that are both weather durable and softer than cotton. The bed of the hammock is 55 inches wide x 80 inches long providing room for two adults. The hardwood spreader bar is coated with marine varnish for longevity in the elements. Available in over 10 distinctive color. As you shop in other places notice the rope size. most hammocks are 6 mm or less in thicknoess and other 8 mm rope hammocks are 20 to 30% more in price. History

Established in 1976.

In 1973 as a young college student I was weaving hammocks in a small

shop in North Carolina, By 1976 I had the itch to go out on my own and moved to Florida, From there it was like a traveling side show as I moved to Hawaii and back weaving hammocks in craft shows and roadside stands, By 1982 I decided to open a permanent Hammock shop in Atlantic Beach NC. Today my weaving days are gone but I still love a good comfortable rope hammock and maintain Freaky Tiki Hammocks.
