Napolita is a very welcome addition to the North Shore, and to Chicago’s Napolitano pizza scene in general. They use ingredients sourced from Italy and produce truly authentic Napolitano pizzas. It’s not a huge menu, which I appreciate; they aren’t trying to be all things to all people. They have a good selection of wines, including a Nero d’Avola I’ve really enjoyed. We’ve tried the Margherita, Bufalina, Salsiccia Rossa, and Funghi Bianco, and loved them all. We haven’t tried any entrees or sides, yet, but from what we’ve seen other tables, it all looks great. Of note: The tiramisu serving is enormous; at $ 7, it’s a very good deal and could easily serve two or three people. The gelato is fantastic, and a huge serving for $ 4.75; flavors rotate. The salads are creative, well-sized, and perfect for lunch. The arancini are outstanding, and filling. Go on a week night when there’s no wait; we’ve tried to go on the weekend and even at 6pm, there’s a two-hour wait.

Came in for the 3−5PM half-price wine and $ 11 pizza special. We had been in at night once before and was disappointed with a soggy-crusted«red» pie, but figured we’d give it another shot. I told the waitress about our past experience and she recommended in the future asking for a well done crust and light on the sauce. We ordered the prosciutto/arugula«white» pizza and it was absolutely perfect. Crispy and delicious crust, tasty and lightly applied cheese and fresh and delicious toppings. This is probably my favorite pie right now and Napolita’s version was spot-on. We chose the $ 32 bottle of red and it was a fine accompaniment to the pizza. We’ll be back! Only downside for me was the contemporary pop/dance music being played.

Called to see if we needed reservations and the host said there were seats, so we came quickly. Walked in and one host was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge us and the second host took about 5 minutes to acknowledge us. But as soon as two other ladies walked in, not sure if it was because they were dressed up more and we were in casual clothes and the only colored people there, they were greeted quickly. We get seated, takes 10 minutes for our server to come to us. She was nice but very forgetful. We ordered wine, she was supposed to chill it for us with a round glass type that would sit at our table, instead after 20minutes she says oh I was supposed to chill it, she takes it to the back to chill? I was shocked, God knows where you are taking our opened bottle like that. Just disgusted me. Wasn’t even chilled when we got it back. We ordered the fried risotto as an appetizer, I didn’t like it. Then we had salsiccia bianca which was good. Place was very loud and very hot! Will not go back.

We loved the pizza and service at this new restaurant. Great service along with a staff trying so hard to make everyone happy.

Great pizza place. It’s good to have a pizzeria that does not sell deep dish. We had the while mushroom pizza and the capticiosa. Both were perfect. The kids had the cheese pizza which was large enough to share and they loved it. There are plenty of options in the kids menu. Over all the place is perfect for a night out with the family or date night. Beer selection is ample with choices. Their pasta looks good, perhaps next time.

Napolita is recently opened for lunch. First time dining for both of us. The pizza’s are very good. The crust is thin and chewey and the tomato sauce has good flavor. Our first issue was that we asked about the size of the pizza and how much we should order. Our server suggested that we needed one each. We did not. The pizza is generous and one is enough for two lunching ladies. Two after practice football players would each want their own pizza. We split a large Cesar salad and it was very good. It was served with a large croûton with an anchovie on top. They need to catch on and start asking people if they want the anchovy to keep from throwing a lot of them away. The place starts to get noisy at about half full and I can only imagine what it is like at night when they are jammed. Food is good and I will go back, but will be on guard to prevent over ordering.

Today, it was our second time eating in this restaurant. Needles to say, the pizza is phenomenal. The pizza crust made just right, chewy and crispy at the same time. Marinara sauce is outstanding. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. Not big but cozy. Staff is plentiful and helpful. Overall, cool place to dine and food is such a treat.

I had my first pizza here last week and it was terrific! Marinara sauce, mozzarella and basil was outstanding! So I called in tonight to order the same thing for pick-up. Maybe I didn’t communicate correctly but I was very disappointed. The pizza was cold, wasn’t cut and didn’t have mozzarella, just sauce and a tiny bit of basil and silvers of garlic. I’ll be back, but be clear on what you want if you are ordering for pick up.

Our first time here this past weekend. We dined with friends that have eaten here several times previously. They do not take reservations so we were lucky to score a high top table in the front room. The chairs were comfortable and the space is very cozy and inviting. Our server was excellent and attentive throughout the night even though it got very busy — the wait was out the door by the time we left. The appetizers were very good. My wife and I split the grilled octopus and arugula in a white wine sauce which was very flavorful. We both had brick oven pizzas which were excellent — great flavors, fresh ingredients and a wonderful crust. The wine list was extensive and the beer choices, both on tap and in bottles, were very good. They have 6 or 7 European beers on tap and a few US craft brews as well. The only reason I can’t give this place 5 stars is no fault of the restaurant itself. It was the number of families with kids that seemed to take over half the tables in the relatively small space. This is a wine bar /pizzeria. You guys have your Barnaby’s and Chuck E. Cheese — leave restaurants like this to the adults and hire a sitter. That said, we will be back.

Everything about this restaurant pleased. Salad was fresh and flavorful. Pizza has chewy crust with a crispy finish. Tried a caprese and a white pizza with wild mushrooms. The San Marzano red sauce was outstanding as was the truffle oil on the Funghi. Cocktails and beer were great. Good selection and perfectly paired with our food. Tiramisu and gelato were delish! Surprising to fine a local joint with a 20 minute wait for a table on a week night. But, good for them… was worth the wait.

Great wine and beer. Shiner Bock on tap, yumm. The atmosphere is great and the food is fantastic. I know this is sacrilege, but I do not like deep dish and I do not like Chicago pizza. Sorry. I think pizza cut in squares with tons of cheese and greasy toppings is gross. Shoot me. Thank goodness for thin crust, light, delicious pizza fired in an authentic wood burning oven. Kudos. Salute! Loads of options and oodles of toppings. This place is happening. I will come back anytime I feel like some good pizza. I’m sure the rest of the food is fantastic, it looks like other tables were enjoying it but I have never gotten past the extensive pizza menu to even consider the other options. Call ahead though. Or you will be waiting to get in.

Wow this place rocks! Pizzas are fantastic! We started with the sausage Bianca(white pizza with sausage, goat cheese, onions, who knows what else, but it was delicious! Also got the chef board of assorted salamis– also deeeeeelicious! Had the Caesar salad which was flavorful but not fond of the sliced romaine. Then we shared the funghi pasta which was delicious but lacked the truffle flavor that was described. Needless to say, someone came out and gave us some truffle oil which made a hell of a difference! Ended with tiramisu and pistachio gelato, and grappa! Wow! Will definitely come back! Yum! Went again for lunch and got the carbonara pizza and the sausage pizza with red sauce(it’s called something else here but forgot the name) needless to say they were both fantastic along with the service.

Peroni on tap! Great energy and delicious food. Interestingly on the menu they point out that they have an Italian made pizza oven and Dough mixer. They fly in their cheese and flour weekly. It’s the closest thing to an authentic Italian pizza around. Most of the wine they have by the bottle they also have by the glass. Thus you can sample most bottles before you buy. Best chicken Parmesan I have ever had. I have been three times and plan In going back to try a meat and cheese board! Did I mention they have Peroni on tap !

Great addition to Wilmette’s restaurant row! We had dinner with a couple couples and tasted a number of the pizzas, entrees and wines. All delivered — I especially loved the white quarto formaggi pizza with arugula. The red wine was great and inexpensive and the waitress was friendly and patient with our slow ordering. It’s a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal on a Friday night. Casually elegant and friendly… Exactly what you’d want to find in town!

Disclaimer: I do know one of the owners/partners, but I promise, independent of that, this place rocks. The place: Upscale. On a Thursday night, this place was PACKED. Reservations are a must. Even the wine bar was crowded. It’s not a huge place — my guess is it seats 50. Even though I went with a few girlfriends, it kind of had a romantic vibe to it. Like I was back in Italy eating with my love. The staff was so helpful and made our subs and high maintenance requests with smiles, and expeditiously. The taste: Please don’t judge how much food three of us ordered. I think Napolita can pride itself on their pizzas. The brick oven in the corner gives it an authentic feel and taste. We started with the bruschetta(I think that’s the only food pic that I took, because there was much wine and much laughter.) — Maybe it came with anchovies — or maybe something else did, but it was a nice salty add on to the dish. We shared the Tritato Italiano, with the meat on the side. Then we got pizza, pizza and more pizza. I think we got their special of the night which had dates and caramelized onions and taleggio, I think? We also got the Quatro Formaggi and I think the funghi bianco, but I’m not 100% sure on that one. Basically, we liked them all — I think the Quatro Formaggi was the winner, but we ate well. And drank well. My face: I was the DD so I didn’t drink too much, but my cheeks were probably a little puffed from how much I ate. Surprised I could walk out of there without my clothes ripping. Anyway, for the three of us, I think the bill came to about $ 120 including drinks. This was a much needed night in our social calendar, so definitely left with a smile. Contented. Stuffed. Not broke, but no doubt we could have spent more if we didn’t have to drive home. Parking in Wilmette can also be a little tricky, so if you’re coming in from the city… maybe consider the train?

Very impressive opening for a good looking pizza place. Beer list was excellent, and I like Italian beers, they had many to choose from and did a great job presenting it. Dinner was good as well, with delicious pizza and fresh salad. The restaurant was very busy and had a lot of traffic in and out, but the staff was very accommodating and made it work. Decoration was very stylish and well thought out. The Piizza oven is in sight and quite entertaining for the kids to watch the process. Well done, and a welcome addition to the Village.

I went to dinner and arrived early about 515 because it has been so busy. We just enjoyed pizza and draft Italian beer. It was just wonderful. I am going for dinner Monday with clients.
