Description

Specialties

Under the direction of new owner, Jason Balla and in collaboration with Executive Chef, Victor Hernandez, The Cellar features a global small-plates menu, designed by Hernandez to complement a wide-ranging bar menu.

The Cellar serves more than 30 handcrafted beers, 20 wines by the glass and by the bottle as well as a specialty cocktail list. Stained Glass wine director and Owner, Jason Balla, has hand-chosen The Cellar’s impressive yet affordable list of wines from around the world.

Stand-outs from Hernandez’s menu include a mouth-watering lamb burger, a braised short rib, shrimp tacos, an outstanding New England lobster roll and many more small-plate, globally inspired offerings. There are plenty of gluten-free options as well as vegetarian and seafood dishes to choose from.

The recently refurbished dining space is both loungey yet vibrant. Relax at the bar and enjoy the game on the big screen TV or sit and relax along the banquettes with friends over dinner, drinks and conversation.

The weekend brunch served from 11am to 2pm Sat/Sun is a great restaurant brunch and has quickly become to go-to brunch place in Evanston.
