We are a Wellness Center and Day Spa in beautiful Williamsburg VA. We believe in a Natural and Holistic approach to helping people reach their Wellness Goals through Therapeutic Massage, Organic Skin Care and Natural Nail Care.

We offer many modalities of Therapeutic Massage including: Couples Massage, Maternity and Fertility Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, Bamboo Fusion Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and more.

We offer Natural and Organic Skin Care Services including Facials, Sugar and Salt Scrubs, Body Masques, and Wraps

Our Menu of Services includes Natural Nail Care. We exclusively use Zoya polishes and products. Zoya is the longest wearing natural polish and is vegan friendly for Happy and Healthy Nails.

Our Team customizes each Visit to the individual. Whether our Guests are here to relax and be pampered or have personal goals of reducing discomforts and improving their overall Well Being, we are:

Samantha M.

Business Owner

Samantha became a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist in 2004. She and her family have lived in beautiful VA since 2010. Her husband is a Chief Petty Officer in the Navy and they have three beautiful little girls.

Samantha offers customized massage including: Deep TIssue, Trigger Point Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Maternity Massage and Fertility Massage. She is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor. Samantha teaches parents the Benefits and Techniques of infant massage.

Samantha is a long standing member of AMTA and is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and CMT in Virginia as well.

She opened Elements MBW in Williamsburg in June of 2012. She began with just one room and herself offering Massage. In May of 2013 she expanded and relocated to the new Wellness Center and Day Spa. Samantha now has a team of Massage Therapists, Estheticians and Nail Techs.

I scheduled two massages here to have a nice spa day with a girlfriend in celebration of her birthday. I was excited by the great reviews. The place is really very average. It’s in a little brick building off the beaten path. The intake form had a space for «recent injuries», but it only had yes/​no — no space to describe the actual injury (I have a shoulder injury). The therapist told me what all she’d be doing and never asked me what I wanted or didn’t want, and she didn’t ask about the injury, so I had to speak up about it. When I laid down, all I could hear was a super-​loud ticking clock right over my head. Who puts an audibly ticking clock in a massage therapy room? I tried to ignore it, but I couldn’t. I finally asked her to silence it, and she took it off the wall and turned on a fan (a slight improvement). The massage was quite average — extremely light pressure (barely above a caress) on my legs and arms, but it was okay on my back. I specifically asked her to keep massage oil out of my hair, and that was a total fail. I liked the hot stones; the bed was comfortably warm. Meh.

Just left a much needed spa day and it was incredible! With the holidays, family, and work, I was so tense and Karen spent a bit of extra time trying to help relieve that. I was worried at first her touch would be too gentle because she’s such a calm person, but she was able to get into knots effectively and left me like a puddle. She also gave me a detailed note about all my areas of tension and what she was able to work on. Then after a wonderful relaxing cleansing facial by Connie, I never wanted to leave! I can’t wait until our next trip to Williamsburg in the summer so I can take advantage of this wonderful, serene place. The prices can’t be beat, either! Highly recommend.

Our first visit to the spa. We had a couples treatment. Karen and Leah were amazing. Karen provided a deep tissue massage that worked all of the kinks out. Our appointment was on time and ended in exactly one hour. My daughter liked the fact that the products are organic and safe. I highly recommend and will visit again soon.

My massage was just what I needed and the price couldn’t be beat. As for a spa/​relaxation retreat … I wasn’t feeling it. I may be more of a picky person when it comes to relaxing but hearing a wall clock tick over and over while trying to relax wasn’t happening. Room was very bright and you can hear every step that is taken outside your room. So if you don’t mind hearing everything that’s going on outside your relaxation room then this place has a great price and great massage. I will probably go back for massage but won’t be counting on a pure in the zone relaxed and quiet massage.

This is an awesome place. D and I had taken an impromptu trip to Williamsburg for his birthday last week. Because the trip wasn’t planned, I knew it was a long shot to get massage appointments. I was wrong. Elements has an easy online booking system that allowed me to reserve a couple’s massage the night before (around 7 pm — so after their normal business hours). In about 20 minutes, I get a confirmation email and a text that our appointment is set for the next morning. Easy peasy. You have no idea how happy I was. When we arrived, we were greeted by Karen and Monde and given a tour. The space is cozy and definitely calming. Our deep-​tissue massages were tailored to our own aches and ails with Karen using hot stones and Monde using some Thai techniques. We felt so rejuvenated and relaxed afterwards. I definitely suggest this place the next time anyone’s looking for a day spa.

We ended our family vacation with a couple message at Element. A great treat for my wife and me. 90min deep tissue message went by too fast ($ 190 for both of us). There is cheaper message options but my wife wanted the deep tissue. Need to find coupon options if possible. Karen and Elise were great. I highly recommend them and the place. When we come back to Williamsburg, we will be back at Element.

This was my first time here. I had an appointment with Chrissy for a facial. She welcomed us with a glass of cucumber water and a warm friendly smile. The atmosphere was warm and very relaxing.
Chrissy explained everything about the products she uses. The facial was real good and enclosed a hand massage. I really can recommend this spa and spec Chrissy.

On a Tuesday evening I treated my mother and myself to a 30 minutes Facial.
Our appointment was for 5:30 and when we arrived 15 minutes early they were ready for us. Everybody at the Spa gave us a warm welcome and Chrissy who would be conducting the Facial was very sweet.
She made us feel at home and made sure that we were comfortable in the waiting room.
Chrissy was great and very knowledgeable. She adjusted the facial according to our personal needs. I have dry skin and my mother wanted something for anti-​aging.
It was also a very nice and calming atmosphere. They also use natural products. Since we arrived in the evening Chrissy also applied a night cream.
We were so relaxed when we left.
I can only recommend Chrissy and Elements!

Go see Monde! Not only was she incredibly understanding about me being late; she still gave me my full 90 minutes. She does not start the clock until her hands are on you. I don’t know what is in the Thai balm she used on me, but it is like a Cryofreeze, but much better. This sweet little gal climbed on my back and used her body to loosen up my tight spots. Fantastic results!

I am a certified massage therapist myself and have high standards for massage. Elements Massage is the real deal. I had a wonderful Thai massage with Monde. If you’re not familiar with Thai massage, it’s basically a combination of pressure point, varying degrees of deep tissue, and yoga stretches that the therapist helps you hold so you can relax into them more fully. Not only did Monde give a great massage, but she also incorporated Thai salves for my aching knees and ankles. I felt great afterwards.
My husband had the Elements Signature massage with Karen and loved it as well. He reported feeling «Odoe-​ed» afterwards (think Star Trek with Patrick Stewart and the shapeshifter Odoe who melted into a bucket).
Samantha, who runs Essentials, brought in a wonderful lunch from the Cove afterwards.
But that’s not all: we followed up with a manicure for my husband and a mani/​pedi for me with Danielle that were also great.
If you’re visiting Williamsburg or are lucky enough to live here close to Essentials Massage, definitely stop by for a relaxing experience.

I just had a rejuvenating facial with Marcia on Saturday, 4÷19÷14. Phenomenal! She was kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. The facial was extremely relaxing and I felt truly pampered. My skin is still glowing days later! I highly recommend Marcia and will definitely be returning to Elements for more services.

The service here was incredible and the prices were great compared to what I’m used to. My only complaint was that we requested a couples massage and were never told they could not accommodate that. So, instead of being pampered together and talking, we spent the better part of 3 hours in separate rooms. The services were top notch and I’d consider returning if I’m in the area.

A very relaxing and calming atmosphere– the spa uses great aromatherapy and contains cozy and zen-​like themed décor. Very peaceful. Staff was friendly and very informative, guiding me through the process since I am still new to getting massages. I had a massage technician named Karen who was absolutely wonderful. She listened and was very receptive. Courteous and polite. Too bad I live so far away! It is a great little place with an all natural appeal. Next time I’m in the area… I will definitely come back. I want to try the Lavender salt scrub next! Thank you!

Not the fanciest place, but very nice. The deep tissue massage with Kim was phenomenal — not just some half-​effort Swedish massage with a lot of pressure. Kim was extremely professional, personable and clearly had a command of the neuro-​muscular reasons behind what she was doing. Highly recommend!

I worked at various places that offered massages over the years that enabled me to frequently have them, so I consider myself a great judge for massages. My husband and I had a hot stones couples massage. The room was clean, relaxing. The staff was professional and prompt. I have to say that I was surprised to conclude at the end of our massages this was the BEST massage I have ever had! My therapist was Layla and she literally put me to sleep! I couldn’t be happier!
