History
Established in 1983.
After graduating from Stockton State College in 1983 with a BS in Accounting & Finance I went to work for a small CPA firm. We specialized in tax matters regarding real estate transactions. While I was working I continued my education at Villanova University obtaining my Masters of Taxation in 1988. In 1985 I started my own consulting firm Scrocca Tax & Financial Planning. After selling the Tax, Financial & Estate Planning practice in 1989 I worked for my family in their manufacturing business running the entire operation. In 1995 I was ready to get back in to the financial world and began working as a mortgage broker. In 2001 I formed Benchmark Mortgage Inc. which was extremely successful. Benchmark was the top independent mortgage company in South Jersey by loans closed. Due to the changing regulatory and banking areas I closed Benchmark in March of 2009. After working for a few mortgage companies I decided to begin my career in real estate sales in April 2011.

I have been involved in various areas of the real estate industry for over 30 years. While practicing accounting I focused on tax strategies/planning for real estate transactions. I was the President of Benchmark Mortgage Inc. from 2001 through 2009. Benchmark was the largest (based on closed loans) independent mortgage company in Southern New Jersey. After the government & banking industry destroyed the independent mortgage industry I chose to move in to real estate sales. After being licensed in April of 2011 I can say that my real estate sales career has been a great success. In 2012 I was awarded the NJAR Circle of Excellence Award for Outstanding Sales Performance. I was also awarded the 2012 Weichert Realtors Executive Club Award for Sales Excellence. In 2013 I closed over 20 deals and earned the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designation and the RSPS (Resort & Second Home Property Specialist) designation. 2013 should be another award winning year for me.
