Everything from our michelada’s to our shrimp tostada’s and our Diablo plate was amazing !!! And like another review said there beans are really good !!!

Pretty good. Beans and rice were above average but nothing memorable. Carne asada is delicious and the salsa they give has a mild but tasty kick to it. Service was amazing and I am very full and satisfied and feel like I got my money’s worth. Overall very positive experience and will definitely come back when I am in the area.

Starting with the service I got over the phone which was very polite and cheerful. Food was great! Ordered Chorizo and eggs plate minus the rice home fries instead. Carne asada burrito that had a unique flavorful taste. I highly recommend this spot. Would give 5 stars once I experience eat-​in service. I ordered delivery this time. Try it out for yourself!

All the years I’ve lived in Whittier I have passed by this place and never truly acknowledged it till this past Friday. It is truly a hidden gem. The food is Authentic Mexican food. None of that Alberto’s or Molcasalsa type of food (don’t get me wrong, still like those places haha) The food was super good and the horchata is amazing. The waiter that took care of us was the most sweetest woman ever and she had such a wonderful personality I felt like I’ve known her forever. We ordered so much food, 2 drinks, 6 tacos de asada, 2 carne asada sopes, 1 carne asada wet burrito, And the big molcajete of Guacamole, that they prepare right in front of you! Not to mention you get warm chips and salsa when you get there. All for under 40 bucks. It was great and they’ve honestly gained a customer who will go here from now on. I loved it! And can’t wait to go again soon. Oh, And they deliver!!!

This place is as good as everyone said it is. Friendly staff and the food is very good. The décor is not so great but I don’t eat walls or tables. I ordered the Molcajete. It was fresh, not over cooked and just right. I’m coming back tomorrow.

Love this place! You get authentic Mexican food when coming here. The owners are friendly people who make you feel at home. The service is great! They also deliver. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

I’d recommend it to anyone who likes quality food. A place like this is hard to find. Great service, great atmosphere, and even greater food! It doesn’t get the attention it deserves. I’ll definitely come back here again.

This place is a real hidden gem. In fact it’s so hidden that hardly anyone knows about it.
The standard fare is good but where this place really shines is with the molcajetes, guacamole and soups which are served in huge portions. Also beer, margaritas, aguas and Jarritos.
Atmosphere could be better. The front of the place looks dumpy but inside it’s clean and spacious. There’s also a couple of TVs and a jukebox begging for more play.
These nice folks seriously need some more customers before they fade away…

Worst Mexican food i’ve ever had. I will NEVER eat here again. The food was watery and almost made me throw up.

Great Mexican food. I’ve had their sea food and regular Mexican food and it’s all very delicious. The place is a little hole in the wall but that’s where you can find the best Mexican food. I recommend this place to everyone. It’s a little diamond in the rough.

Diamond in the rough! Great Mexican food! Excellent service and they have the Coldest beer I have had in a long time! and they have Karoke on Saturday Nights! Love this place definitely comming back and telling all of my family and friends.

I’ve been living here for two years and I’ve FINALLY found authentic, delicious, like «my abuelita’s in the kitchen» type Mexican food! I can’t say anything bad about the food. The tacos (omg the tacos), chile’s rellenos, enchiladas, rice and beans…
So you get chips and salsa when you get here, there’s aguas frescas, jugos, beers, margaritas, not to mention real Mexican Coke. The salsa, very very good. Table side guacamole is superb! Carne asada is so tender, juicy and amazing. The service too, everyone is so attentive, top notch!
Let me put it this way, I discovered this place on Friday and I’m here on Sunday. I’ve been here a total of 4 times since Friday. Karaōke last night was awesome. (Every Saturday) Don’t expect a fancy place, it’s a hole in the wall, cozy little restaurant. This is my new spot, love love love!

This place is amazing! You just can’t go wrong because every time I go, the place doesn’t disappoint me or my picky family! You have to try the wet burritos they’re amazing!

I like this place a lot. pulpo needs to be a bit more tender. but not to many places serve a pulpo tostada. asada burrito was off the charts and huge. can’t wait to go back. v

Sooooo bomb. Whole in the wall place. From the outside you would never think the quality of food would be this great. I am totally hooked. Every plate we have tried has been amazing. You have to try the molcajete and the skillets … BOMB​.COM… And they have karaōke on Saturday’s!!! You have to go try it. Closes at 4 Am on Saturday

This place gets a bad reputation because of the previous owners but I’ve been there 6 – 7 times in the past few months and I haven’t been disappointed. I have ordered a variety of different menu items from camarones aguachile to taquitos. Check it out!

My family and I have been here three times and it is pretty good! Please make sure to try the chile relleño and the mariscos. My mom says they are DELICIOUS! They even have late night kareoke.

This place is awful at BEST! I ordered the menudo– BIG mistake, the meat was not properly cleaned, I spent 30minutes trying to eat because I had to pull out all the pieces with hair still attached– disgusting :(I finally gave up and left most of it there since there was no flavor anyway. My boyfriend ordered the torta de carne asada they F*d that up too! It was just a very bad experience. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY :)
