Smokey Joe’s also provides repairs, code compliant chimney caps/​spark arrestors, gas log sets. We also clean dryer vents for both residential and commerical customers. We clean gutters also.

History

Established in 1990.

Smokey Joe’s Chimney Sweep started out as a side business to fill in when I wasn’t working hanging iron in high rise buildings and gradually turned into my full time profession. I’m still working off the ground, just not quite so high off! I have been sweeping chimneys, dryer vents and gutters in Whittier and surrounding cities for more than 20 years now.

We offer a wide range of services combined with excellent customer service. We believe strongly in SAFETY for our customers and their homes and families. That motivates us with every job we do.

Business Owner

I was born and raised in Whittier. I attended all of my school years in Whittier as well. I served in the Airborne during Vietnam and then did a tour with the Navy. After the service I started working hanging iron for the new construction of office buildings in southern California. I’ve been a landscaper, nurseryman, and a chimney sweep.
