Joseph Thee Baker

I’m employed by LADWP Power Distribution, was referred to Joseph through a co-worker…ordered some pastries for a meeting, and everyone absolutely loved them! But what I appreciated more than anything was his friendly service and attention to detail. Thx «Thee Baker» for delivering and clean box presentation.

Just last night my girl and I had a great baking lesson with Joseph. She had booked a lesson and I tagged along, since he only does it in groups of 2 or more, to learn some stuff. For starters him and his wife are very nice and organized. The lessons are held in there home which is very clean and is setup with equipment and baking goodies. They provide everything so all you do is show up ready to learn.
To begin the lesson we took notes on some tips he gave us for baking to make it easier, time efficient and yummier! He had 2 dozen cupcakes already baked and ready for each of us in a box. The lesson consisted of us filling the cupcakes, learning different ways to frost them and decorate them! In the end we were each taking home our delicious and beautifully decorated cupcakes!
The main lesson was learning how to make and whip up a great whipped cream that can be used to frost cupcakes or cakes. We worked with this whipped cream through out the session and it was delicious and up to standards! Whether you bake as a profession or just for fun, like me, the class was totally worth it and I’ll leave with some great new tricks to add to my baking experience and memories with the bestie!

Found Joseph on Facebook and saw that he does classes. I have been making cakes, but have trouble with my buttercream so wanted to learn a little. If you call him he will give you all the info you need. I was able to set up a class for me and my bestie. The classes are at least two people.
Going in his kitchen it was very organized and ready for baking. He is licensed to sell out of his home. His wife and himself are very sweet and welcoming.
The first part of the class we are provided with a pen and paper to learn some of the techniques he uses to make quality cupcakes. We then got to see how he makes his whipped cream for topping. Then it was time to decorate. The whipped cream is so delicious by the way!
We got to decorate 2 dozen cupcakes each along with filling them. They all came out so nice and tasted delicious! I left feeling like I learned so much and will definitely be putting those tips to use.

I asked him if he’d be willing to help with a fundraiser for children with cancer… he said ‘only if celebs are there’. He was cocky and not personable at all:(

Amazing pastries! Very serious about his time and business he is very punctual so be on time! I was confused on what wedding cake to get and the flavor and he helped me! Everyone loved the cake and cupcakes! I had no leftovers! The rose on the cupcakes looked so good! I moved to Victorville and I still can’t find a place as good as his! I loved doing business with him and would recommend him to anyone in the Los Angeles area! He works with you and of u have a budget he will help you choose a cake that fits! Joseph the baker is hands down the best!

Absolutely the best cake I’ve ever had it was the bomb it was well decorated it was on time and very easy to get in contact with the baker its as simple as 1 2 3 my favorite part was the taste it was moist tasty and had just the right amount of flavor I will definitely be ordering more cakes 100 up.

I want to give a huge shout out to Mr. Joseph Thee Baker for my cousin’s cake. Everyone who attended and had cake, enjoyed every bit of it. They couldn’t believe their taste buds. Yesterday we ordered a cake for my dad and woah best cake ever highly recommend for people who are looking for a nice delicious cake.

Gosh, where do I even begin. If this were a review based on how great Joseph and his Wife treat their customers they definitely have exceeded 5 stars. Needless to say they are no longer just my go-​to cupcake people, the pleasure would definitely be mine to call them friends.
But, that in itself says a lot. This isn’t a typical corner store bakery, TRUST ME Joseph’s cupcakes and desserts are top notch; down to his berries he uses and the presentation of his desserts are hands down quality! I don’t know too much on the process of baking cupcakes and cakes, besides the eating process, THAT I do quite well. lol But no ones a stranger to something that just is «excellent» and what Joseph produces is just that.

If your looking for a cake with flavor, design and not that nasty fondant stuff I highly recommend Joseph Thee Baker! Its so so so so so good «It will make you want to slap yo mama!» lol Seriously its dangerously Yummy. And Joseph is very friendly and very reasonable on prices. I orderd a cake for my brothers birthday and everyone loved it. Not a slice was left order. I look forward to ordering my parents Anniversary cake for next year. We wanted to send cupcakes to my mother in law for her birthday, but we live in Pennsylvania. We found Joseph Thee Baker on Unilocal,gave him a call and explained that we are out of state. No problem. He whipped up cupcakes, AND delivered them personally! We did everything over PayPal, it was so easy to order these cupcakes from the East Coast. He didn’t charge us an arm and a leg, and my in-​laws loved the cupcakes, especially the Mango. When we visit Whittier we’re going to stop by and get some of our own. Joseph if you read this, thanks again man, you came through without any issues. We’ll call you next time we want to send pastries to our family out there.

Tasted these at a friends party and they were delicious! Was bummed when I tried to order due to time restraints. Call early for your order they are well worth the wait

Love his cupcake class! 3 friends and myself went to his class and he gave us alot of info on how to make any cake tastier, and how to decorate of course. I totally recommend it

The best baked goods ever. From cupcakes to cakes for all occasions. The fresh fruit he uses is the sweetest that you will taste. I ordered a couple of boxes and could have eaten them all. They are so light and, oh so, delicious. I would order them again and again. The freshness is also important to me and no Fondants. As good as it gets!!!

Wonderful Bakery. His cupcakes are delicious and so are a his pastries which my husband loves. My favorite are his chocolate covered strawberries. His cakes are all whip cream no fondant so they taste delicious. I will use him again for cakes, cupcakes, and pastries. If your looking for a good Baker give Joseph Thee Baker a call. He will not disappoint.

I ordered a cake for a birthday party, everyone there noticed how beautifully decorated the cake was and complimented the cake. Not only was the cake beautiful, it was also delicious and received compliments for that as well. He is also easy to work with and very professional. I will definitely order from him again. The only down side is that I live pretty far from him, but it was worth the drive.
