Whitestone Diner

New ownership has done really well, I’ve ordered delivery a few times and I’ve never been disappointed. Black & White shakes are great compliment with their burgers as well as the homemade tzatziki!

The staff is so awesome, the food is amazing, very cute set up! I had so much fun there! Great time!!!

By far the best food you can eat in whitestone. Excellent service and top quality food. I recommend it to anyone. The new owners really fixed up the place. Great job!

Service was great … food was terrible … eggs benedict. the worse thing I have ever tasted

I had a strange experience here. I walked in around 12 on a week day solo. I had a meeting in the area and was starving after. Walking in it appeared the place was empty. There is no counter so I asked for a table. I ordered the Nova Scotia eggs Benedict but asked if I could get some salad instead of potatoes. I never eat the potatoes. I was told it would be an extra charge. Ok who cares. food comes and here’s what I get.
Luke warm poached eggs and Hollandase sauce. The salad lol… The lettuce tomato and onion you get on the top of a burger. One giant piece of lettuce so silly.
Whatever I ate everything.

I like this place. Quiet, immaculate, great service, fresh food. I hope the restaurant opens up the backyard for outdoor dining! Then I this would be my go to spot for diner food.

Great service, very friendly waiters/​waitresses. Food is always fresh, Great omelettes, salads, burgers, & panini’s. Many healthy dishes served if you’re watching your waist. Always give you fresh jams & muffins to sample. I used to go to Lollipops regularly. The prices have gotten so high there & the service just isn’t the same. Whitestone Diner is much better. The place was redone 8 months ago so it’s still all clean and new. We went for brunch and they give you this tiny delicious muffins when you sit down. Had Refreshing mimosas with freshly squeezed oj. My omelette had fantastic flavor! This place is a definite repeat!

A perfectly fine diner with perfectly edible, unexceptional food.
The service was surprisingly slow for a Queens diner.
They did serve some teeny muffins with an apricot spread that were quite nice.

Passed by this diner several times in the past on my way to Spa Castle. After recent renovations, decided to give it a try. Arrived on Sunday evening just shy of 7pm and Valet Parking Attendant was nowhere to be found. Easily got a spot on the street anyway. Extremely cordial greeeting. The front of the diner was warm, the back of the diner was freezing cold. We were seated back there. They had a «Help Wanted» sign in the window and our waitress was practically serving the entire diner! Despite this, our service was acceptable and our waitress’ happy mood was certainly uplifting. Gazpacho soup was excellent and Broiled Cod was excellent. Salad that came with my dining partner’s entrée was just OK (too many large pieces) and my other dining partner’s burger was medium well rather than medium. But, considering the prices, I’d definately return!

Food is good, the omelette was stuffed even though I added two ingredients (usually a dinner will skimp out if you add something to a specialty — 1 $ per addition).
Careful they serve expired beer! To be honest they had no clue beer expires, would hate to know how they store their wines!

This place is my new go to diner. The food was great. I had Brunch they had an awesome variety.
The prices were great and reasonable.
The service was awesome.
if your looking for a last minute diner or brunch place this is the place to go to.

Had one of the best breakfasts ever. Fresh food great service and very clean. Very excited to have a good place like this in Whitestone. Can’t wait to try lunch.

The Whitestone Diner is one of my favorite diners. Their pancakes, waffles, eggs, burgers, everything rocks here. I also love their coffee as well. It’s hidden in Whitestone Queens, If you can find it, you’ll love it. It’s right off the cross Island down the block from Carvel. What a great little place.

Wouldn’t go here before they remodeled but it is like a new establishment now.
Literally everything on the menu is a home run and the people are extremely attentive and nice.
There is nothing to not like about this diner. Go here at least twice a week.
Get the cheesecake and their jams, all home made!!!

This place looks to be remodeled. So I will review this place based on three criteria. Service, décor, quality of food.
I have been to this place several times so this review will be a combination of all my visits.
Service: The staff all really appear to very up beat. When it isn’t busy you get attention. When they were busy they tried to pay attention and did so successfully. They provide little muffins with really delicious jam at the beginning of their service which is a great idea. Unfortunately the past two times my waitress forgot to give us the muffins. Now normally I wouldn’t care, but because those muffins were so good, I had to say something. On the bright side the owner did apologize and was able to make sure that I got the muffins. Aside from the muffin mishap. I would give service individually a rating of 5 of 5. Overall I am really happy with how they service their customers. All of their staff are really friendly.
Décor: this place has a very modern design. Place looks clean, and considering the small size of location, it looks like the utilized their spacing correctly. They have a backyard where they plan on opening up during the summer, so when that happens I would like to see what they make of it. Tables have marble tops which gives it a clean kitchen counter look. They have a small bar at the register, so they serve alcoholic drinks. Perfect for those who like their mimosas for brunch. 4 out of 5
Food quality: like I mentioned above, those muffins are good enough to complain for. I have ordered their Mexican burger, regular burger, and western omelette. The Mexican burger has a lot of guacamole, which makes it tough to eat the burger since it gets a bit messy, but it was delicious nonetheless. The way they cooked it was perfect to order. I have not had an issue with the way they cooked their food all the times I have been there and I hope it stays that way. Any mistakes in food they will go above and beyond to fix, which adds to their level of service, because let’s be real, people make mistakes, it’s how you resolve it that makes the difference. 4 of 5
So my rating overall is a 4 which is good because I am very picky about places. I am glad I discovered this place because I used to go to the «cozy» diner and was not too impressed, but only continued to go there because I thought it was the only diner in the area.

I was hesitant to go in, since it re-​opened and always seemed empty. This place has the most delicious food. It is amazing. The staff is very nice… I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Highly recommend the new Whitestone Diner. Finally a good, clean (and modern) diner in Whitestone. You cannot even imagine what a difference it is over the old management. The place looks super modern, comfortable, and clean. The food was excellent (I had one of the dinner specials, stuffed mushrooms with fresh homemade crab meat and my mother had the Chicken Francaise). Both plates were A++. You can tell the quality of the food is so different from what it was before and much, much better. I have delivered 2 times since going in to eat (damn this below freezing NY weather!!) and my Angus Beef Burger was pure deliciousness and the cheesecake for dessert was great as well.
Great job guys!

Just had dinner here tonight with my family and it was a vast improvement over the old management. Food was reasonably priced and very good and attentive service. Will definitely come here again. Finally a decent diner in Whitestone.
