Harborview Grille

Staff were all very friendly. We started with the loaded ranch fries-​awesome! The mushroom and Swiss burger was excellent, and my husband said his American burger was also good. The kids spaghetti was a huge serving and the kids fish was good, one decent sized piece. Both kids meals came with a gogourt. Everything was a great experience !

I wanted to love this place because it had quite a few good reviews. Maybe I ordered the wrong things but I went with a standard. Any restaurant should be able to put out a good burger but I didn’t like the one we ordered. It didn’t taste like it was from fresh hamburger, it tasted like it was frozen, maybe I’m wrong but it was dry and we were never asked how we wanted it cooked. We also had the onion rings, they were beautiful when they came out but lacked flavor. We went with the fried green tomatoes which was the special app for the night. I liked them ok but the other two people didn’t care for them. It wasn’t bad but definitely could have been lots better. I did like that you could call ahead and put your name on the list for a table. We only had a short wait when we got there so that was good. Our server was friendly.

Upon arrival my wife and I were confused about the décor inside because it did not match the exterior. We forgot our free appatizer card we got from our motel, they can also be found throughout town. It was busy but we enjoyed the small town vibe everyone knew each other. After sorting out the somewhat scattered menu I chose my signature sandwich «grilled chicken sandwich with swiss n bacon with bbq sause» the bun was buttery and toasted to perfection it was my favorite part. The portion of chicken was small, other than that great! My wife loved her turkey sandwich. Also you must get the onion rings, we will be back

I work at the nearby Weathervane Inn. If a guest asks where they can get a good steak, I send them to the Harborview. I have never had a guests come back with anything negative to say about the place. They all love it!

Very impressed! Gluten free and vegetarian options were labeled and most any sandwich can be made gluten free by substituting for the GF flatbread or regular GF bread. I had the American burger with GF flatbread and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Also very friendly service. This was a great find.

Huge portions, fair prices because I am wow… big portions! Food was really great! We are new in town and I already found my new favorite place!

This place was great! They had awesome service. Every employee said «hi» to us on the way in. It’s a nice, quaint, little family restaurant with a fishing theme. The view is nice as well as the table service. My girlfriend and I had burgers, and they were delicious. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Montague.

Emil and staff do a great job. Great pasta, sandwiches, and the onion rings are awesome!
