Alfredo Boccasini is one of the leading hair colorists in the world. His trained eye for beauty, his feel for fashion and his knowledge of hair, of color, of chemistry makes him stand out amongst other hair colorists. Salon Savoir was opened in 1998 and as a co-​owner Alfredo watched the business thrive. He is constantly traveling as well as educating himself and his talented staff to stay on the cutting edge of the latest trends in color and hair design. Currently Alfredo Boccasini is the sole owner of Salon Savoir and looks forward to doing what he does best, creating and continuing to make women look and feel beautiful.

i’ve been there twice now, once for a cut and blow dry and the second time for a hair glaze.
Kayla is absolutely wonderful and took the time to answer all of my questions and provide me with samples of hair colors for the hair gloss.
Although Kayla didn’t do my hair gloss she still took the time help me decide on a color and to check in on me while my hair was being colored.
Staff is friendly, very clean atmosphere, they offer you coffee/​tea while you’re there.

I’ve been shopping around using Groupon for a new salon since I became increasingly unhappy with the salon I was going to for years. Everyone was courteous and friendly at the front desk. The overall look and atmosphere was very high-​end, but the real experience was with my stylist. Kayla did an incredible job and really understood what I was looking for when I showed her pictures. I have a lot of hair to work with and she was beyond patient and meticulous. I almost always feel rushed with my haircuts and slightly disappointed at the end because my hair is still left frizzy. This was the first time after receiving a haircut, I walked out of a salon without immediately throwing my hair up in a ponytail. I couldn’t be happier, and I felt like I couldn’t thank her enough for taking her time. They are pricey, but either way, I will be very excited to return.

I have been coming to salon Savoir for many years, and seeing Luisa for cut and Heidi for color. They both do a consistently fantastic job of making me look my best. And equally important, they (and the whole team) are a pleasure! Whether near or far, they are worth the trip!

DO NOT USE YOUR GROUPON HERE!!!
My mother used hers and accepted any available stylist and her simple bob was uneven.
I researched stylists and tried to make an appt w/​a better stylist and was told those stylist dont accept groupon customers.
So basically, youre going to get a haircut from a jr. stylist and let them learn on you.
Dishonest business. Dont bother with them.

gwen is amazing! i’d decided to give myself bangs, which turned out about as well as could be expected. not only was she very nice about my ridiculous hair but she did a fantastic job transforming it from the mess that it was into a cut that feels fun and stylish. she actually explained to me why she was cutting things the way that she was, she showed me what she was doing, she showed me how to style it – it was really a wonderful experience. i wasn’t sure how salvageable my hair was but she took my follicular lemons and made lemonade. thank you, Gwen!

I’ve been too many salons and Salon Savoir is by far my absolute favorite! I first tried it with a groupon and I’ve been going ever since. I love Christina because she gets it right every time. The décor is very inviting and I just look for an occasion just to have a reason to get my hair done here!

I had my hair color (only roots) with one of the hair stylist, not happy at all. First, she left my hair color without checking. I noticed the time is over more than 10 minutes and I tried to find her and let her know. Second the color came darker and some part even not good coverage. For me hair stylist was not professorial.

I have been thrilled with Salon Savoir since I started going about 6 months ago. I had been looking for a salon since I moved to White Plains and have never found one I plan to stick with until now.
The atmosphere is sophisticated and gives you the feel that you’re at a high-​end salon right from the get go. I actually started with a Groupon and was scheduled with Anne, who is awesome! Not only did she give me some great advice on color, but she was honest about what I needed and that I wouldn’t need a touch up nearly as quickly as I thought. She made me feel very comfortable with a new color change (which is not easy to do!) and I will be going back to her and recommending her again and again!

Salon Savior is a bit pricier than where I would normally go, but after reading so many positive reviews I decided I would splurge a little and try it.
… Well, the woman at the desk was unfriendly and slightly rude as was the girl who washed my hair. My stylist was much friendlier and nice, but seemed in a huge rush to finish my cut and be done.
As soon as I left the salon I could see my bangs are completely lopsided! Not centered at all! One side is so much heavier than the other — cut about half an inch deeper than the other side. I would give them 1 star if it wasn’t for the rest of my hair which I consider to be a relatively nice cut.
Overall, I don’t feel like I was given the same care or consideration as other salon goers. Is it because I am younger than most of their clients? Because I am a student? I’m not sure, all I know is I felt rushed and now have uneven bangs as a result. Bangs like this I could of cut myself and saved 70 dollars.

I started going here because I needed to find a new colorist. I found a Groupon and I have been going ever since. I love Christina she is young and she picked out the best color for me
The salon is great and very professional, Gay and Carol –the receptionists– up front are so helpful and getting an appt is easy and they always call to check to see if you were happy with the service !!(who does that??)
This last time, I had a mani/​pedi and Vicki took her time and it was very relaxing
it is a busy place but they make you feel as though you are the only one there !!

I have been going to Salon Savior since it opened. The place is very Clean, Chic, and Cutting Edge. The prices are Fair. The Hairstylists are Professional. Appointments are easy to get and they are very flexible. My hairstylist, Luisa, does everything from Hair Color to Pro Cuts. I also use Vicki for Manicures and Eyebrow Waxing, she is very Professional too.
I highly recommend her. The owners and staff are very nice and accomadating too.
I will always use this Salon…

I purchased a Groupon — $ 45 for a wash, cut, style, which I almost thought was too good to be true. I’ve been going to the same salon for years in Tarrytown, but the woman who normally cuts my hair works odd hours, and it was becoming too expensive for me. I was very skeptical about having someone I didn’t know cut my hair but figured I could always just wear it up for the summer and let it grow if it turned out bad.
I called on a Friday around noon and they were able to make an appointment for me that afternoon, which was very convenient! The salon was clean and every staff member I encountered was extremely helpful and kind. I didn’t feel judged or stared at like in some other places. Anne cut my hair and she was fabulous! She explained that she was new to the salon and previously worked in the city. I told her I wanted about 4 – 5 inches cut off (which is a lot for anyone who has long hair) and added layers in the front/​back. She gave me exactly what I wanted! She was friendly without forcing conversation, and towards the end of my visit I felt like I was just sitting and chatting with a girlfriend. They made me feel very comfortable and I would definitely come back here again.
I HIGHLY recommend Anne & Salon Savoir!

I purchased a groupon for a haircut with Gwen. She’s a fantastic stylist and had a different way of hair cutting that she learned when trained in NYC. She works with your hair and cuts accordingly. I was able to tell that she knew what she was doing and understood what I was asking for. Highly recommend giving her a try. The salon was nice as well and everyone seemed professional and busy.

i bought a cut and color from Groupon and both exceeded my expectations! I used to go to Nick Arrojo Studio in lower Manhattan but didn’t want to keep spending the money and traveling all the way downtown from Westchester. I showed Anne a picture from Nick Arrojo’s book and she duplicated the haircut exactly! I have received the same amount, if not more complements from my salon savoir haircut as when i spent 3 times the amount in the city. (and that disregards the Groupon price). This salon is hip, cutting edge (no pun intended) and on trend… my stylist worked in the city for many years and it shows. Its a great value and the vibe is lovely… people seem to really enjoy working there and it shows. I will definitely be back! And my color came out rich looking, natural and is lasting beautifully… a slam dunk in my opinion.

Went back to this salon for a keratin treatment, they do a special every Wednesday! I usually am always nervous with keratin because I’ve done it before at other salons and it didn’t work or they lied about the product they were using. I naturally have really thick curly hair that can be pretty frizzy without using a ton of product and when I blow out my hair sometime it looks poofy and I still need to flat iron some of it usually takes me about an hour… Now, it literally took me 20 min maybe? No poofy hair! No flat iron needed either! But my keratin here came out AMAZING! I’m pretty sure the girl who did it was Catherine. she did an excellent job and i would definitely keep coming back to get my keratin treatments here from now on!

I just moved to the area and was in need of a new salon. I had come across a Groupon for the salon and went online to do my due diligence. The reviews I had read were all positive so I figured I’d give it a shot. I walked in to a stunning salon! Fresh, Stylish, Hip, Funky … I thought I was back in Manhattan. I was greeted with a cappuccino (a hell of a good one too) and then taken back for a wash. I then met Christina, who eased my fears of a haircut. She advised she would give me a clean, healthy, low maintenance look without the pain of shedding inches of locks. I was very pleased! It looked great and I have been able to maintain it. I’m returning this week to get a trim and am looking forward to an ‘updo’ appointment I have later in May. Fantastic find :)
