Shanique has been a hairstylist for over 6 years. Starting at a young age, she developed a passion for hair and pursued her career in it. Her specialty is extensions, custom wig making and hair care. She has worked in Westchester and New York City with the goal to build as a multicultural hairstylist in a diverse environment.

Shanique’s service offering is very unique. She has each of the key elements I look for in a hair stylist — schedule availability /​appointment flexibility (i.e., business hours), professionalism, great location, reasonable parking availability and accessibility, great styling skill set and experience. She accepts your styling interests/​preference and doesn’t try to convince you to do things you aren’t ready to do. She has a great personality and is truly a gem. I’m glad that I’ve found her!

I went to Shanique unsure of whether to get a blowout or wash and set and she helped me on what was best for the look I wanted. I ended up getting a wash and set and loved it! She’s very pleasant and can’t wait to go back to get another wash and set when needed! She’s also very affordable and accommodating.

Shanique schedule is always flexible & she does a better job with my wash and sets than any of the Dominicans in white plains and for a very affordable price! My natural hair lasts more than 2 weeks with her and she is very knowledgable about hair texture and the best products. Def recommend
