I love the food here. But the service is definitely lacking. We sat in the bar. It took a while to get service. The bar area didn’t seem too busy. Our drinks came immediately. As they should since we were in the bar. After that, things fell apart. We ordered an appetizer and our food at the same time. Sadly that’s how they were delivered to us. We had asked about our appetizer after 20 minutes. I don’t think our waitress ever checked on it. When it did show up, we dug in just in time to have our food order delivered to our table. My food was lukewarm by time I got to it. My water was never refilled. We did get our check in a timely manner. Paying was another story. Our waitress busied herself clearing tables, walking to the other side of the room, etc. I did all I could to get her attention. Every minute we waited reduced her tip. We ended up leaving cash and a much smaller tip. Sad about that. The wait staff needs to learn to be more attentive. Our food was delicious. If this review was based on food alone, I give them 10 stars.

I’m not hear to compliment the décor or how great the food was. What I am reviewing here is the management. I recently had a real issue with not 1 but 2 errors on the same order. I was upset to the point where I was deciding to never come back again. As I stormed out to leave I decided to ask for a manager to unload my anger on. A man stepped up to apologize and after talking(No, I never yelled at him) he made everything right and was able to keep me coming back as a customer. I think the manager’s name was Marcelo. If not, it doesn’t matter which manager it was. They stepped up to keep a customer happy and that shows qulaity customer service.

Good food but the service is so, so. Our server took our order but never came back to refill drinks and there were only about 3 tables in the place.

Food was just almost average. Service was terrible, worst service we have experienced at a restaurant in a long time. Nine of us will never return.

We like to take advantage of their specials during the week. Half off larges on Wednesdays, and good deals during football/basketball season. Great thin-crust pizza, but for deep dish I prefer Lou’s or Giordano’s. The sauce at Dags seemed too sweet to me. The kids love the fact that they have mini corn dogs on the menu.

My new favorite pizza in the northern suburbs. I’ve yet to try their pan pizza but the thin crust pizza is fabulous. It’s not greasy and they don’t skimp on the toppings. Tuesday nights, get a large pizza for the price of a medium. Other deals every night.

Thin crust Pizza = amazing(they make their own sausage), Salads are amazing as well — the hot salad is so good I never want to share mine. We have tried plenty of things on the menu and are never disappointed! The wait staff is always friendly even in the height of full dining room. We will be back for sure!

I’ll start by saying I love Dag’s Wrigleyville and when I lived in the city was a regular, so to write a 1 star review is tough for me. Stopped by last night with my mom after a movie for a quick pizza & they immediately seemed disorganized. The servers were having some kind of argument the whole time we were there and were obviously distracted and arguing amongst themselves loudly in front of guests. To me that’s not ok. We each ordered an individual size thin crust pizza– I got just cheese and my mom got green pepper & sausage. My pizza crust was undercooked and soggy. But worse midway through eating her’s my mom bit into a piece of cardboard the size of a quarter! After we were served all the staff had disappeared into the kitchen and we couldn’t find anyone to complain about the cardboard or get our check from for over 30 minutes. By the time we found someone and they found our waitress we just wanted to leave the awkward situation and bad pizza. Sadly, I won’t be back to this location.

Bosco sticks were deep fried so they came out greasy. Thin crust was ok, but the sauce on it is WAY too sweet. Service needs improvement.

Well one thing they have good tasting sauce but besides that and I have been there several times and tried other menu items but never satisfied. Also ordered on line cost more then phone order. Wish could give better review but not able to.

Wrigleyville staple is now on Restaurant Row in Wheeling! From the BB-Q Beef Sandwich to the thin crust pizza, you can’t beat this place. Service is outstanding with the friendliest servers.

We ordered a medium pizza that was all burned. There were 3 of us eating. We told the server that the pizza sucked. They came back and said that they would make us a small pizza for free because we ate from the original. Totally unexceptionable. They thought it was a great compromise.

My first time ordering from D’Agostino’s and sadly it may be my last. I’ve deducted three stars — two for lack of ingredients, one for taste. The delivery was super fast and delivery person nice and courteous. Now back to why I deducted three stars, I ordered their DAG pizza which comes with sausage, peppers, mushrooms and onions. I ordered it with no onions. When the pizza arrived, I had to do a double take to see if they had sent the right pizza because there were no pieces of sausage to be found! Upon closer inspection and consumption of ¾ of the pizza, we found a total of three pieces of sausage — I AMNOTEXAGGERATING — there were only three pieces of sausage on the whole entire medium pizza!!! It was like winning the lottery every time I found a piece of sausage. I paid $ 25 for basically a vegetarian pizza. Not putting enough(or in this case ANY) ingredients on a pizza is a huge offense in my book. There were plenty of the cheap ingredients like the green peppers and mushrooms, but not enough sausage, sauce or cheese. The tiny amount of sauce was sweet and good, but there just wasn’t enough of it. Without enough sauce, the pizza was just bland, I had to put some parmesan and pepper flakes on it to give it some taste. Very sad! I had high hopes for this place and was very let down.

Despite reservations we were left waiting. Waiting. And waiting some more. Plenty of space; not sure what the problem was because they didn’t explain the delay. Had a group of kids with us and I felt we were being nickeled and dimed for pop refills. Aren’t they always free? Pizza was fine. Nothing special. Should have gone to Armand’s!

My friend had their wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was a decent meal. Décor: It’s a pretty standard pizza joint. There are lots of tables and they have a decently sized back room for parties. There really is not anything special to say about the décor though. Bathroom: It was ok, could probably use some sprucing up… Staff: It was a big party room so we, personally, didn’t really interact with any of the staff. Food/Drink: We had a bunch of food(Chicken Fingers, Salad, Mutz Sticks, Pizza) and it was all just so-so. Not sure if it was because they were cooking it in large quantities or what but it just didn’t seem too fresh and wasn’t all that tasty at all. The beer was cold though! Value: The dinner was covered so I’m not sure about their prices. All-in-all it was an ok experience but I don’t think I’d return for another meal.

I’ve been here three times — same experience. Food is decent, however service is annoying and lacking. The staff enjoys socializing more than working.

First time here. Last time. Food was mediocre at best, and the staff was inconsiderate. Sat for over 2 hours between ordering and finally getting our dessert. I do not recommend this establishment. Had to post a «star». Wanted to give a negative star rating.

We often frequent the D’Ags in the Glen often for their fabulous thin crust pizza so this location is a nice addition. It has a much larger bar with many tables, more larger screen TVs and much better bar service since there is a dedicated food server and a bartender. Tried two new(for us) — non-pizza items. The Cubano Panini and the D’Ags Hot Salad. Both were very good choices that rivaled their thin crust pizza for both interest and flavor. The Cubano Panini had only ham and cheese(no roast pork — boo, hoo) but it that made up for it with the solid amount of ham and Swiss cheese(one slice on each side) and the nice warm toastiness. It was served on sliced Italian bread and since it was dubbed a panini(panino would be technically more accurate for one sandwich) we’ll let the lack of Cuban bread(like French but lighter) slide — it is not saying it is an authentic Cuban Sandwich. The French fries served with the sandwich however were possibly the star of the plate. Thin, with a little skin on and very well cooked to a nice golden brown, they were salted liberally(and accurately!) Very hard to stop eating them off my better half’s plate. The D’Ags«Hot» salad was delicious. The«Hot» refers to two warm elements — either grilled chicken breast or Italian sausage served warm on top of the salad and the use of hot giardiniera within the salad itself, They recommend the house made Italian dressing but I preferred the house made thin and slightly sweet balsamic vinaigrette instead. For $ 7.95 for a filled bowl of salad with plenty of meat it is a very good value. The indoor dining room is a bit blah looking and somewhat depressing — we try to avoid it. It really needs some dark elements as it looks very sterile — somewhat like a cafeteria with a few TVs added to the wall. They do have two outdoor seating patios, one right on Milwaukee Ave so I would not choose that spot(an errant driver and their car could literally fly onto your table!) and a second one off of the parking lot in the back– not the greatest views but it is outside. perhaps if they add a few potted plants it will soften the feel. We will return and perhaps try another few non-pizza items.

I had a craving for a meatball sandwich. I called in the order since I live around the corner. The order came with fries which I did not want. I have never been good at mixing my Italian food with American. Fries go with dogs or burgers not Italian red sauce. Just me, for others it is probably a bonus. The sandwich was ready in less time than estimated and the pick up was fast and easy. Three large meatballs, the right amount of sauce, melted mozzarella and fresh bread. I always want more sauce but if they had put more sauce on the sandwich it would have been a mess. Next time I might order it on the side… hey I said next time. I guess that means I liked it. I’m picky about my meatballs. They were not cooked in the sauce for six hours or more but they were not boiled in water either. I’d give there cooking and tenderness an 8 out of 10. They have quite a large menu which I may need to explore but for my quick lunch time craving it work out great.

Deeeelish thin crust pizza and cooked well done as requested. Crust was traditional and crispy(not that cornmeal coated stuff) and the cheese had a nice looking golden brown plump look. This is a sign they use a high grade mozzerella. And overall taste was one of the better thin crust pizza’s out there. Service was spot on and super friendly by Robert B. Parking lot is huge and hassle free. Only knock was they had a Boy Scout hawking popcorn at the front entry. Felt uncomfortable becuase he opened everybody’s door and now you’re expected to make a donation. Hey, I came here to eat pizza, not to be shaked down. Kinda poor taste and bad call.
